Polar Bear Holding Facility

An incredibly beautiful place everywhere you drive in and out of these roads, you see the most exquisite ground cover it’s so colourful and deeply textured. Apparently, it’s gorgeous in the summer apart from the fact that you get eaten alive by insects (in winter you get eaten by polar bears).

Also known as the polar bear jail! The building has a very cool design! Unfortunately you can’t visit inside. There are some polar bear traps around the main building! Very cool place to photograph!

This location has a beautiful mural, information boards and an example bear trap. Please follow all rules regarding polar bear safety.

I went on the Natural Habitat Adventures trip to Churchill, Manitoba, to see the polar bears. Everything about the trip was spectacular.

We didn't get to see inside but the artwork on the outside was worth the drive.

Great place to share bannock with local jams and a mimosa or two.
