Taragna polenta was amazing. Had tris with funghi porcini, sausage and pulled pork toppings all super tasty. It was expensive, but the portion is huge. Either way worth it.

Im not a polenta fan, I find it boring and pointless.. but this little kiosk brings some life back into the nothingness. Really nice sauces and plenty of choices.
Great friendly service here. You grab a table under the overhang, order up your polenta of choice and enjoy the view. It's a little tucked away and looks part of the restaurant next door, and the seating mainly belongs to the Irish pub across the road, so make sure you're looking at the right menu. We had the wild boar and it was really good, and a beer, but the pulled pork looked great too.

Polenta is Bergamo's local dish, served with various 'toppings' or 'sides'. It's a simple kiosk, but very nice

Right in front of you, as a tourist, but today seemingly often ignored. Simple, tasty polenta dishes. Better meals than many in the area for 4 times the price. Just a serving window, a few outdoor tables, right at the square at the top where the funiculare takes you to città alta.

Is definitely worth trying to know whether it pleases one's taste. It was edible in my case. The staff wasn't friendly though.

Tasty, fast food concept.
We had to wait a bit to get a table but it was fine.

Unique taste!
Polenta is a traditional Italian dish made out of cornmeal and you can top it off with sausage, beef, salami etc. They also offer some vegetarian options as well.
It was my first time trying this dish, wasn’t exactly for me but I enjoyed it with red wine!
It’s a must try if you’re looking for a traditional taste. The lady working there was kind and helpful, but it’s a very small place so definitely expect a line in front of the window.

We had a wonderful lunch here! I loved my taragna with mushrooms. The portion was generous, the wine and the food were delicious (even though I'm not usually a polenta fan) and the service was great. This place was recommended to us by our guide on a walking tour - I'm so glad we followed her advice for an interesting and tasty meal typical of Bergamo :)
