A top tier Guest House.. A group of 6 of us went April 24-26 and it was a breath if fresh air. Barbara made us feel like we were at home. A warm welcome with a very clean property. Breakfast is very good.. I enjoyed my stay there and will definitely go back.

Helpful and friendly Barbara really makes this place, and she makes a great breakfast! The room is perfectly acceptable with the fridge and tea and coffee making facilities on request. A fan keeps you cool enough at night, it can be hot during the day without air conditioning. There’s a large outdoor seating area, including a pool table. Location is a short walk from the blue lagoon, there is a small container shop nearby for supplies, but no restaurants nearby. Without a car, we used route taxis to get us around. They are frequent on the main road. Frenchman’s beach is a great place to spend a day and have a meal.

In 43 years of business/relaxation trips to Jamaica, I cannot recall a more welcoming and positive place to stay than Barbara's Polish Princess Guest House, a few miles from Port Antonio. VERY much a bargain for those not needing the All-Inclusive experience in JA. The lush foliage of Portland Parish surrounds her comfortable location, and is a mile or so from one of the island's most beautiful beaches, Frenchman's Cove. An excellent breakfast is served each morn. The accommodations make for a simple, clean setting, the staff is efficient, and the owner is a fine source of recommendations for this area. No hassle, no stress: just one of the best corners I've experienced on this island.

Nestled within the lush vibrant greenery just outside Port Antonio, this guest house is a bit of a hidden gem. Barbara is a lovely and very accommodating host, and her breakfasts are just like I've read in reviews - legendary!|Best cinnamon pancakes I've ever had :)|Bedrooms are decent size and clean, and we felt safe and well looked after. I was very impressed by netted windows, so no mosquitos even with the window open at night. |Lovely roof terrace where breakfast is served, but you can chill there anytime. |Watching tropical rain in the middle of the night on the roof terrace was a magical experience. |5 mins walk to the main road, Winnifred Beach is 30 mins walk (10 mins by taxi you can hail on the main road) |20 mins by taxi to Port Antonio, should you fancy a night out. ||Lovely place, would definitely recommend and stay again.

This is a very nice guest house close to many of Portland's most famous attractions. Our host Barbara was warm and extremely accommodating. Our stay was brief but very restful. The rooms and property were clean and breakfast was provided with our stay. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Polish Princess. The guest house is very nice, with spacious rooms (including walk-in-closet) and a big terrace to hang out. Barbara is the nicest host, always helpful and charming. Breakfast is plenty and delicious and two wonderful, local Winifred Beach is just a 20 min walk away. And only few minutes from the Guest House you’ll find Tropical Lagoon Resort, which has free access to a small beach down at Blue Lagoon. Make sure to ask at reception whether the bar at the beach is open, Steve serves the best cocktails while you dream away in a hammock. You can also rent kayaks and go see some turtles.||For us, Port Antonio was definitely the best place to stay in Jamaica!

All the good reviews are true. This is the best place we have been in Jamaica: good rooms, good and quiet location, nice garden but what really makes the difference is the care Barbara takes of each and very customer. This place is the perfect base to explore the region.
