All the good reviews are true. This is the best place we have been in Jamaica: good rooms, good and quiet location, nice garden but what really makes the difference is the care Barbara takes of each and very customer. This place is the perfect base to explore the region.

This is a very nice guest house close to many of Portland's most famous attractions. Our host Barbara was warm and extremely accommodating. Our stay was brief but very restful. The rooms and property were clean and breakfast was provided with our stay. Highly recommended.

You are in the country and its beautiful and quiet, you will also get to see the humming 🐦 birds from your room and watch them around the banana 🍌 tree. You are also treated like family and well looked after. I would like to thank Barbara for looking after my mum and me And a merry Christmas to you Barbara and family. Xx

We loved our stay at Polish Princess. The guest house is very nice, with spacious rooms (including walk-in-closet) and a big terrace to hang out. Barbara is the nicest host, always helpful and charming. Breakfast is plenty and delicious and two wonderful, local Winifred Beach is just a 20 min walk away. And only few minutes from the Guest House you’ll find Tropical Lagoon Resort, which has free access to a small beach down at Blue Lagoon. Make sure to ask at reception whether the bar at the beach is open, Steve serves the best cocktails while you dream away in a hammock. You can also rent kayaks and go see some turtles.||For us, Port Antonio was definitely the best place to stay in Jamaica!

I loved my stay at polish princess. Barbara does everything she can to accommodate you. Breakfast was good. The fruits are from her own trees. The shared terrace is so nice and peaceful at night. The area is safe, me and my friend went for a late night stroll and had a stray dog follow us and protect us from the other stray dogs. Don't hesitate to book here, you won't regret it. Thank you Barbara for everything you've done for us, especially introducing me to Luna. 😊

Fantastic place ! ||My husband and I have just stayed at the Polish princess for 9 nights, we ended up staying here after another guest house cancelled our reservation once we had already arrived in Jamaica, we were upset at first but it worked out wonderfully as we can not rate this place enough, Barbara and her staff did their upmost to make us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember . Barbra treats her guests like family and nothing was too much . The rooms were clean and had all the necessities you need . The breakfasts are delicious, with a great variety available throughout our stay . Barbara had great knowledge of the area and arranged a local taxi to support our endeavours in seeing some of the beautiful hot spots Portland has to offer . This guest house is fantastic value for money and is situated in a great location . Not only did we have a great stay but we have made a great friend in Barbara and will definitely be keeping in touch , will be back soon ! Thank you once again we really appreciate everything, Anton & Rachael

We have just returned from a 4 night stay, we are a family of four , children 12 & 8. It was important that we had breakfast included in our stay & if food was needed in the evenings they our host would be able to accommodate. Barbara is incredible, very hospitable, nothing is to much trouble. Breakfasts are amazing & filled us up ready for the day ahead with something different everyday. |Our room was spacious with good size comfortable beds, very clean & ample space for suitcases & wardrobe with hangers. We had a fridge & complimentary water on arrival. Plenty of room for parking & in a fantastic location for Frenchman’s cove ,San San beach & Boston beach ||Once again Thankyou for looking after us Barbara , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay .. we will be back ||The Wests xx

This is a lovely place to be if you ever visit Portland!||It's close to all the parish's best beaches -- and, given that it's Portland, they're Jamaica's best shores. Our host, Barbara, was absolutely amazing! The breakfast was great; the rooms were clean and comfy; checking in and out was smooth.||If we had any problems, it was with Portland's surrounding roads that were wrecked by the NWC -- I do hope those get repaired soon.||I'd certainly go back and recommend the Polish Princess to anyone wanting the enjoy the beach life of the island but without spending an arm & leg to stay at a prime location nearby.
