I loved this hotel. My stay was excellent from start to finish. I stayed here for four nights around Christmas. The service was impeccable. Friendly and accommodating, the staff will speak to you in Italian or English as you wish. A rare treat, they offer made-to-order eggs served, if you want, with delicious sautéed vegetables. The lobby is elegant and comfortable for lounging. My room and my friend’s room were both very comfortable, with great showers (something I’ve come to find is NOT a given, even in good hotels). To top things off, the location is exceptional. Steps from the hotel is the beautiful Chiesa di San Matteo, and other baroque wonders are just a few minutes away. I heartily recommend this hotel.

Pollicastro was perfect in every way -- excellent location in the historic center within beautiful walking distance of so much. Atmosphere was luxurious, private, friendly. Our room was off the charts gorgeous, comfortable with private sauna/pool and fireplace. The staff could not have been more wonderful during our 4-day stay. It was exceptionally clean throughout. We look forward to returning and to recommending to everyone we know who wants to experience the best of Puglia.

Pollicastro Boutique Hotel has 12 well appointed rooms with a great location in the old quarter of Lecce. The hotel is built in an old palace/mansion so the first room we were offered did not have an accessible window to the outside. For us this was unacceptable so we were moved to another room which we greatly appreciated. The staff were generally very good and provided reasonable service. I would like management to note, however, that on the morning we checked out the wait staff were fighting amongst themselves which was uncomfortable to witness and probably led to runny eggs and lukewarm coffee. The other two mornings were fine. Also, the front desk attempted to charge us twice for parking which I’m sure was an oversight. I still give this boutique hotel a thumbs up.

Pollicastro is a wonderful hotel in the center of the great city of Lecce. The inside is like an art museum with exciting sculptures and mixed media. The room was wonderful. The breakfast could not have been better and I had to leave early the last day and they packed e a breakfast box. Also the have an amazing second floor roof garden. It will definitely my hotel when I go back to Lecce.

We had a wonderful time in lecce at this hotel . Alessandro at the reception was terrific at the time we checked in late night . Room was clean comfortable had it overlooking a terrace on the top floor . Breakfast was wonderful cooked to perfection and displayed . Staff was polite and gracious . Irene at the reception was wonderful with tips to make our stay great . Very convenient location. To walk visit sites and restaurants. We also used valet parking very convenient. Thank you will visit again .

We stayed for two night in this rather unique and stunning hotel. Historic, with more contemporary design and benefiting from the owner's own art. It is amazing. |The staff members we met were outstanding - notable was Stefano and Luca who were so helpful and accommodating. |The hotel is spotlessly clean, bedding was too notch and the modern bathrooms wrecked a pleasure. The rooftop garden is a lovely little surprise. We loved our stay and can't wait to return.

This was the most beautiful hotel we stayed in while traveling through Puglia! The room was incredible - spacious, beautiful bathtub, comfortable bed - stunning architecural elements throughout. Service was impeccable. Location was quiet, but in the heart of the historic center - close to everything.|Great value - highly recommend!

Really great experience : in the middle of historical Lecce the palace itself is worth the experience , staff is super friendly and helpful, hotel decoration and art are quite unique , there is also a wonderful roof top terrace overlooking the old town . I would definitely go back.
