Polonia Hotel

I was booked as part of an Explore tour, this was not the hotel we were supposed to stay in but it was switched last minute. ||This hotel is very basic, not unpleasant but a bit quirky. I had one of the refurbished rooms, which was very large, with a large bathroom. However once stepping out of the lift you have to walk through a very long, creepy, dark corridor. The doors are still opened with keys rather than card. Some of our group were placed in the old rooms and quickly asked to move, they were apparently not very nice. ||The staff at the desk were friendly. I liked the breakfast. The courtyard was a bit depressing looking, very soviet style. Something needs to be done to cheer that space up! ||Location was great though, only a 15 min walk into Old town, which has lots of places to eat, shop and take in the sights. There is also a convenience shop right next door which is useful for snacks and drinks.

Old hotel, but functional and clean and tidy. Comfy bed. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I felt so sorry for the polite waitress in the dining room who was shouted at by an arrogant, rude, impatient guest. Despite this, she was still kind and respectful.

The hotel is good for budget travels. Staff were nice and accommodating. This hotel is very near tram stops and bus stops. Also near the old town. The breakfast voucher is worth it they have a great selection of breakfast items. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning.

I was lucky in picking up a bargain deal, so no complaints whatsoever on VFM. Central location, close to rail, tram & bus stops, and the excellent bars under the arches. Only a short walk from the airport bus 106, so another bonus. Room was fine, breakfast pretty decent, staff brilliant so one very happy customer. If I come to Wroclaw again, I would definitely stay here, as it’s affordable and in such a good location.

The local roommate was about as tasty as the food. Relaxing sounds of cars doing burnouts and trams. Looks like a warehouse from a horror movie. The smell made me want to go into an eternal sleep. Relaxing experience 3/10

Good location, near train station, public transport stops. Friendly and helpful staff. They prepared breakfast to go (very simple, but still) for me, as I had to checkout before 8:00, when breakfast starts here. Room was clean enough. Room was much more worn than at Booking photos. There were just 2 sockets in 1 room corner for whole room, which definitely not enough. Wifi didn't work good all the time of stay. Honestly, in such conditions it's hard to call it 3 star hotel, even though, nothing was critical for me this time.

A good budget hotel with friendly helpful staff in a ideal location. Don't expect full on luxury but that's reflected in the price. Breakfast was more than adequate with a good choice.Everyrhing worked apart from TV which I'm not concerned about. WiFi was good and shower had a powerful jet.

Hotel is very basic but it is a 3 star and you get your moneys worth! It was a nice surprise to get a balcony view. Make sure you ask for extra pillows! Staff are friendly and greet you with a warm smile. If there is anything you need, just ask! Breakfast is continental. Could have done with a bit more variety. Like yogurts and fruit and a bit more hot food! Distance from main square is about a 15-20 min walk. Although lots of trams near by. Make sure you take ear plugs. Trams run outside from hotel up until about midnight and start again about 5am. We got use to the noise after the first night! Overall a bargain and nice first experience of Poland!
