Pomme d’Or Hotel

Lovely stay for a company party. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you need. The mattresses are extremely firm though which may not suit everyone. The hotel provides White Company shower gel and shampoo which is very nice - and lovely fluffy white towels. I made use of the iron and ironing board conveniently located in the spacious wardrobe. There is a safe in the drawer and hairdryer to hand. Lots of tea and coffee both decaff and ‘caff’. The only downside is the view. Well, there wasn’t one - the windows look out onto the hotel roof space. I was i. Room 434. The staff I met were both impeccably turned out, extremely courteous and very helpful. The breakfast was your usual buffet style with lots of choice. Nothing out of the ordinary but again the staff were really helpful, polite and cheery which is nice to see.

We had an excellent stay in an executive double room. The room didn't have much of a view and we were two floors up above the kitchens on floor 3 but it didn't bother us in any way as the aircon/heating is so good we didn't need the windows open and they have great window dressings so you don't really notice out of the window. The only thing I would say is I would have liked an area in the room to sit with good lighting and a mirror for hair & makeup. It did have a lovely desk but sadly no mirror and only low lighting. The hotel is lovely and all areas were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We had the full breakfast in the hotel in the Harbour restaurant every morning and the food was excellent with a lot of choice of continental and full English. We also ate in the Cafe Bar several times and the food in there was really good too. There are plenty of comfortable areas to sit with a drink or coffee in the Hotel. the staff were all amazing, nothing to much trouble and really friendly as well as super efficient. The hotel is in a really good position overlooking one of the Harbours and near the shops, restaurants and bars. All in all a super stay and we are planning our return.

Attended the New Years Eve Gala Dinner and stayed overnight. The event was superbly organised with nothing too much trouble. Food was very good, especially considering they were catering for a hundred or so guests.||Hotel room was very nice and clean. Housekeeping staff very courteous.||Breakfast the following morning had plenty of choice and was hot.

Good hotel with neat comfortable rooms. The breakfast is excellent as is the service. It's in a central location with easy access to the rest of town. Minor niggles the aircon doesn't cool as much as I would like but I do like it on the chilly side. I've had a couple of Christmas functions here and the main course on both occasions was memorable due to its basic and inexpensive nature. In all other respects a good hotel to stay in.

Superb staff and well located. Restaurant and bar prices are very reasonable after loading up the voucher at reception. A special mention to Duncan, the restaurant manager, who was friendly and efficient. Parking here is an issue but there is an arrangement with a sister hotel 1 mile away. The airport bus (15) stops about 50 yaerds from the hotel door at the bus station.

The location is wonderful. The hotel has a good restaurant where they serve afternoon tea and a good breakfast, but the rooms would benefit from some refurbishment, they are a little dated. The staff are friendly and helpful and we could store luggage after check out very conveniently for example.

Had an overnight stay post Christmas on a special deal. Great value for money which included dinner plus 2 cocktails, lovely room with harbour views and breakfast. One of the best nights we’ve spent in a hotel in Jersey! Couldn’t fault a thing… Staff in the hotel are so friendly and helpful, at reception, in both of the restaurants where we ate & in the Porter’s Store. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to come back!

We are coming to the end of a four night stay at the Pomme D’Or Hotel. It really is an excellent experience to stay here. All the staff are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfast selection is first class and the service also. Special mention to Melina and Juliet, thank you. Duty manager Joseph is brilliant with his quiet professionalism and knowledge. Thanks Joseph. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet, and the Housekeeping is thoroughly done each day. The location is perfect for all St Helier has to offer. Don’t hesitate to stay here if you come to St Helier, you won’t regret it.
