Pondok Pitaya: Hotel, Surfing and Yoga

Amazing experience. Great spot for surf. The place is quiet. Terrific scenery, including from the restaurant terrasse. The pool is also a great place to relax and watch the sea. Great level of service. Some of the accommodations would need a little love.

Yoga & Surfing. Great value for money right on the beach. Rooms were clean, great customer service, with fantastic food at the restaurant. Breakfast included. Yoga was twice a day, instructor extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend, we will return. Thankyou for an awesome atay.

To the management: I was disappointed to see your staff (man with a limp) on the road sweeping man made trash into the gutter, while then sweeping leaves towards the beach. As a eco friendly hotel, be great to continually educate your staff regarding how to properly dispose of trash. Seems like they have an opposite understanding if what to do with organic and non-organic waste?

Lovely place in a great location with friendly accommodating staff too. Note: this is not a complaint, it's in the hope the resort owners or management think about their trash footprint. The reason for the lack of stars. I really would think that an owner of a surf resort would care more about the environment than to make their staff give breakfasts in single use containers and multiple bags, despite us all eating breakfast at the resort. I even asked if I could not have my omelette packaged to go, still it came packaged in multiple containers. Because it's paper and not plastic isn't the solution, the cardboard boxes are lined with plastic anyway, unnecessary trash is trash! Also single use sachets in rooms is quite shocking. I wouldn't take grandma or grandpa here as the floors are really slippery. A jetwash now and then would prevent the slippery floors.

This place is a good location for surfing and great for families because of the pool but is a bit overpriced and the food needs improvements like more healthy vegan options. Staff are very friendly and rooms are clean.

A most amazing spot for a relaxed getaway from the chaos that has dominated most of Bali's beaches. This hotel is right by the break, perfect for surfers and beach lovers alike. The staff are very kind and welcoming and always at your service. The grounds are really well thought out and can often times be quite majestic to walk around in. Finally, for the rooms, they are well designed with comfortable beds, however, it's a real shame that the walls are paper thin so if you have neighbors, you can hear everything that happens in the next room, even whispers. But, all in all, a great getaway!

Honestly, this place is the best if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the usual Bali beaches. The location is really great, right on the surfing spot, so it's really fun for surfers or just enjoying the beach. The staff is also really good, friendly and always ready to help
