As far as food courts go it’s pretty good. There is plenty of seating upstairs and lots of natural light and a good selection of cuisines. The beef rendang from the Malaysian stand is tasty and the beef was very tender.

One of my favorite food courts! Love how it is clean and very organized this place. It isn't too packed and spreads out well for customers to enjoy having food and chatting with friends. The car park is easy to access. It is located under the building and if pass 6 pm. You can park free of the road.

Nice food, the Japanese Bento was sumptuous, yakisoba was on saltier side. The beef rendang was fragrant but a tad too wet compared to the actual/authentic Malaysian version. The fried kway teow was good!

Really good food court and lots of options for Asian food. Very pricey though. Kabab place is really good and moderate price.

Great value for money and lots of seating and options. Clean dining area and drinks are reasonably priced. Love going here for a casual dinner with friends. Food comes out fairly quickly and there's a cool outdoor balcony area which seats 2.

There used to be more food choices but it is definitely less now. It still have some authentic dishes and an excellent choice if you looking for a casual place for lunch and dinner.

Ponsonby Food court has stood the test of time and has long been a favorite of mine. I generally have a fan favorite dish that I would recommend but every time I go I try something different and every time it’s a home run. This time I went for the sweet and sour pork and my good friend opted for the beef randang curry which was unreal! Always lots of seating around and you know you will have your meal served up within 10minutes which is big when you’re pushed for time. Cheep and cheerful with great quality. Yelp
A one stop shop for international meals. Oddly enough I had been here during my first visit to NZ in 2006, only remembering as I walked up those bright red stairs. I so not recall the juice maker being there, but by golly I'm glad they're there now. Fresh pressed apple juice, ready in seconds. Delish!! Try them out, there are plenty of fruit options. The food court is meant to offer a variety of ethnic cuisines, representative of the many cultures living in New Zealand. I did not see any island food though i.e. Fijian, Tongan or Samoan, which was a disappointment. Options include Malaysian, Chinese, Thai, Laotian and I think I saw Korean. Be aware that some of the food stalls are closed on Sunday. I ordered a vegetable Thai soup with rice and a spring role to kill the sore throat that was pestering me. My wait was approximately 10 minutes, after which a perfectly authentic, hot and spicy soup was ready along with a small side of rice. This particular stall does not bring your meal to you, however I did see other stalls doing so. $12.00 for a hot soup, with plenty left over to take home. Ample seating all around, even a few window spots overlooking Ponsonby Road. It's not fancy, but the food is delicious!

Yelp
We have eaten here 3 out of our 5 nights in Auckland. It is 5 minute walk from our lodging but most importantly, very cheap. And best part? It offers some of the most authentic world cuisine you will find anywhere. No frills. There are counters located on the second floor, each counter showcases a different ethnic food. It is primarily Asian cuisine. There is Malaysian, Laotian, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Indonesian, Chinese, Italian, and a couple others. They each offer their own specialities for a fraction of the cost you'd pay at a restaurant. Some take credit cards but mostly cash. There is a separate counter for beverages. An ATM machine is just downstairs. If like us you're watching your dollars, you won't get any better quality food for the price. And it's "authentic" New Zealand considering the entire island is simply one big melting pot. Only lunch and dinner. No breakfast.

Yelp
Ponsonby's International Foodcourt is stacked, asshole to elbow, with inexpensive ethnic food. Running the gambit through all the worlds continents (obviously not Antarctica (if only)), the Foodcourt has flavours from all around the world. There are several types of rice on offer. Also various disgusting looking curries and numerous flat breads. The toilets have remarkably great doors. Really out of place wooden atrocities. They're magnificent. The chairs are your classic wooden chair. All of them have four legs. A visit to the Ponsonby International Foodcourt is a guaranteed good time if your idea of a good time is lots of cheap food. I have never gotten food poisoning from the Ponsonby International Foodcourt.

Yelp
I've been a long time customer with this foodcourt and it has possibly one of the best Malaysian restaurant I've been to in Auckland taste and price wise:) I like the Malaysian restaurant as their menu offers a wide range of meals from, rice and noodles. I recommend the char kuey teow as it has a good price to it, and has a good handful of noodles and chicken (I normally order chicken for this dish) each time you order and the chicken laksa for spicy beginners, as it isn't hot to taste the soup and the noodle is yummy with bits of chicken :9 The atmosphere of the foodcourt could be better, especially the bathroom but otherwise the bathroom situation there are many seats to choose from. I like the seats outside when it is sunny, where you can overview the stretch of the Ponsonby street the foodcourt is at be separated from other costumers, like a getaway. But the inside is also quite chill as you have seat and wait for your meal.

Yelp
Having grown up in Auckland I was somewhat ashamed to have only recently discovered the Ponsonby International Food Court. Like all food courts, it is very informal and is nothing out of the ordinary to look at. However, unlike most food courts the Ponsonby International Food Court encompasses a huge variety of the world's ethnic food and is renowned for being inexpensive. In spite of its low-key decor, exterior and lack of air conditioning, the Food Court is a fantastic place to meet friends for a cheap and cheerful meal, and is somewhere local television stars and celebrities often frequent. Winner of the 2009 Metro Award for Best Food Court, regardless of whether you choose to indulge in Indian, Balinese, Japanese, Turkish, Italian or Malaysian, you will not be disappointed. Tip: Don't take a jersey. It's always super hot inside!

Yelp
As food courts go, this one is pretty amazing! There is a general 'chill' vibe to the place as people are specifically going there to eat and socialise - v.s. mall food courts were people are usually eating amongst their shopping adventures. I went with my friend and stayed right until closing. I got a chicken kebab salad and two spring rolls and she got a ginger and prawn curry. We both enjoyed our food and the price was definitely within our budget. Although we only drank sodas, alcohol is available for those who are keen to get a little fancy. It might be a nice place to go before a night out in Ponsonby! I will definitely be going again and recommending it to friends who have not been there yet. Only downside is that the seating is not incredibly comfy nor is it nice to look at - but don't let that put you off!

Yelp
Foodcourts can be very hit and miss. They're either like heaven on earth - multiple types of food, all relatively cheap in one place - yes. Or they're kinda gross - multiple types of crappy food, all slightly overpriced in one dirty place - no. The Ponsonby food court is the first kind. It's kind of famous among it's counterparts. And for good reason. There are numerous delciious choices, some of which are repetitive winners in the Metro food awards. The Vietnamese place is so so good, and will often have people waiting at the counter for it to open. The food court itself is meh, but there is heaps of seating, and even a bit of outdoor space overlooking Ponsonby Road. You can also buy beer and wine, which is great, obviously. Situated right in the middle of Ponsonby Road, it's a great dinner option before a night out, work time lunch, or hungover meal if you can drag yourself out of bed. Yum, yum yum.

Yelp
I am not usually a big fan of food courts but I do like cheap food and having a choice: this food court meets both of those criteria! From memory (and I just went today!) there is Italian, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Kebab, Thai, Laos, Indian and Indonesian food stalls! The vietnamese looked particularly appealing, but not being very hungry I opted for a slice of cake and coffee from the Italian food stall. The cakes are a novelty I was told, and the choice ranged from traditional Black Forest to Pandan or even Ube (purple yam) cake. The court itself is clean and ther is lots of natural light coming in which make it quite a pleasant place really, as opposed to some other food courts. A great place for eating on the cheap in Ponsonby!

Yelp
Fun visit for the first time while visiting New Zealand. Lots of Asian food choices specially good after a long international flight. Lots of locals getting their midweek supper in May 2015

Yelp
This is our go-to place when there are fussy eaters and we want to do it on a budget. You can't beat the choice. Also, it's a food court that's not got pretentious leanings like Elliot Stables, yet you're just as likely to see celebs cramming their faces (I've seen Robyn Malcolm, Mark Sainsbury and others, and it's not like we go there that often). The price is starting to creep up a bit, or maybe it's because I remember what the prices were 10 years ago.

Yelp
I like this place - a lot! I have now lost count as to the times I have eaten here. If you are in the mood for some Vietnamese, Chinese or Balinese this is the place to come. Walk up the stairs and you are in the food court. Surrounded by choice, most mains are under the $20 mark; go to the middle of the court to grab a drink with your meal, they offer the standard array of juices, alcohol and soft drink. The quality has consistently proven very good at all the eateries, however I am yet to make my way around to every single restaurant, give it time! The two favourites that my husband and I have had are the classic Pad Thai and Nasi Gorang. A range of vegetarian options are available too. Open 10 am till 10 pm everyday!

Yelp
I love the food here but it can be a bit pricey havent been here in a while but me and my partner have gone here

Yelp
Somewhat of a mecca when it comes to cheap eats on Ponsonby Road, the Ponsonby International Food Court caters for everyone. Take your pick from Mexican, Turkish, Thai, Malaysian, Italian and many more, with a separate drinks stall in the centre. One of my go-to favourites is the Vietnamese stall, where they sell a delicious vermicelli noodle salad topped with crispy spring rolls and fresh Asian herbs. The prices have crept up over the last few years... it's not the cheapest food court in town but it's definitely one of the nicer ones to 'dine' at.

Yelp
Cheap. Good. Everything. I wandered around Ponsonby trying to find some cheap good food and then I found this THANK GOD. Be ware, only one of the vendors takes credit card.

Yelp
Located in the center of Ponsonby near Williamson Avenue, the food court is always busy and definitely offers the best budget dining in the 'too-cool-for-school' Ponsonby neighborhood. Food stands range from Italian, Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian, Japanese as well as Kebabs and Indian. Located in the center is a drinks stand that sells beers, sodas or can make fresh juices. The food quality depends on which stall you visit. There are two Vietnamese places and one of them is actually only 1-star in my opinion (the one located next to the Italian stand).

Yelp
What's not to love about this place?? It's one of the classier foodcourts around Auckland and they sell cheap, ethnic food which is delicious! Not only that, if you'd like a wine with your meal, you can have one! There is even an on-premise bar. I really like it there and think there should be more food courts like it! To be fair we often get our food takeaway from there on our way home from work. But it's actually nice enough to eat there as well, it's relatively clean and the respective stores don't scream out at people as they walk past trying to get them to eat there. My favourite is the Thai place, their vegetarian Pad Thai is delicious and for $10 you get a huge portion.

Yelp
There are not many food courts which I can cope with. The tables and chairs are usually grimey, there is usually an overbearing clash and clang coming out from the several surrounding kitchens, the food is usually average, and just having to eat in such close proximity with so many other people is kind of off-putting. Although the Ponsonby International Food Court has to admit some modicum of all those things, somehow the overall experience is very pleasant. First and foremost the food is good, and varied, delicious flavors from every continent. I think the food court management have made a very conscious effort to ensure that there is no overlap in cuisine between the different restaurants. It is exceptionally clean for a food court and there are large French doors which allow a good air circulation. My favorite food court.

Yelp
The Laos Place - I used to love this place but it's really gone down hill. Tonight at 5 I go After work and order Chicken Ginger soup which I'm normally a fan of. The vegetables have been stewed for so long they are tasteless and turn to mush in my mouth. I used to go here couple of times a month. The previous time the Vegas were unwashed and didn't seem peeled so I stopped going for a while. I returned thinking maybe it was an off night but no. 2 orders of disappointment. I called them to give feedback directly (and kindly) but she didn't understand what I said. Disappointing. Maybe the Laos it's changed ownership in the last 6 months........

Yelp
I enjoyed it here each time I've visited. A lot to choose from in the food court and not like the cheap dirty food courts you'd see at a mall. Good vibes from all the happy customers from all walks of life

Yelp
Good selection of food, good prices for drinks and everything came out pretty quick. Definitely recommend it for a night out catching up with friends
