Pont Marie

Pont Marie is not just for crossing; it's for experiencing. You come here for a moment of reflection, for that perfect, crowd free photo, and to connect with the timeless soul of Paris. I skipped the crowded tourist hubs for a moment and spent quiet time here! I did not regret it. It's a solid five star experience for me, and a five star favorite for those who seek out the city's quieter magic.

Always nice to be at Pont Marie and it's surroundings to grab a glass of wine or two (or a few more). In summer days it might be too crowded to find a place to sit, as any nice part of Paris.

Beautiful bridge! Recommend to observe it from the river bank. In 2022, I enjoyed making a pastel picture of it. It is my pleasure to share it here.

Delightful place, especially when the weather is nice. You can sit on the riverside next to the riverside path (known as Voie Georges Pompidou) and admire the view of the River Seine and the lovely architecture of the buildings or you can people-watch as joggers, walkers, cyclists, rollerskaters and skateboarders go along the riverside path.

The Seine… what a cool place to hang out. I do not think there is a better place to have some beers than next to the Seine. Of course there are better looking bridges than this one, however it does not let you down. You can chiose to sit on a bar or, more romantic, sit leaving your feet to float.

Amazing bridge in Paris on the beautiful river Senna!! This bridge is unique cause of its position near a beautiful riverside walk with bars and gardens!! Ideal for a nice view stop and cheers!! 👍🍺😉
