Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

This is a wonderful little concert hall, and recently refurbished. Maybe 600 or so seats, and I think you couldn't go very wrong with any one of those seats. Sound system was excellent. Bar drinks were top notch and prices weren't out of line. Restrooms were ample and clean. Parking could be better. I'm glad the weather was dry and lovely as we were directed to park in a grassy area, which very well might be a somewhat muddy and slick area to navigate if it's rainy. Overall we really enjoyed it and would expect to be back for more shows in the future.

Our first show since the remodeling. We hoped that the changes wouldn’t affect the character of the place and we were very pleased with everything that was done! The new seating arrangement is great and the new patios, bars and food options are an excellent addition. Well done!!

We recently went to the newly updated Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and were so impressed! The upgrades are fantastic — comfortable, cushy seating and a venue size that feels just right: big enough to host top acts but still intimate enough for a great concert experience. Before the show, we enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with a drink overlooking the outdoor area — such a nice touch. We also had dinner there beforehand and loved both the Mayport shrimp & grits and the crispy oyster sliders — delicious and very reasonably priced. It’s wonderful to see this venue thriving and offering such a high-quality experience from start to finish.

We LOVE PVCH and they did a beautiful job with their remodel! We were excited to have actual seats, and we took advantage of the new Kookaburra coffee shop inside too. Only complaint is that the old marquee sign from our front is gone and I loved that sign. It was iconic! Can't wait to go back!

The renovation is really well done. Great viewing from any seat, which are easy to find and comfortable. Drink and food concessions are easy to access but on the expensive side. There is seating outside the main building for small table conversations and heaters if needed. Inside there are balcony areas with good viewing but maybe best of all the acoustics are excellent! Parking needs work, but staff on hand to guide you.

What a great experience seeing Del McCoury at the upgraded venue! The volunteers were so helpful allowing us to look around. The outdoor seating was a great place to hang out before the show. Bathrooms clean and room. Seats so comfortable. Not a bad seat in the house!

The "new" Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is a true gem. The "sound" quality, at every show we've attended since the reopening, has been exceptional. The indoor and outdoor spaces are open and relaxed. The seating is very comfortable. The coffee bar is a great addition. The ANZAC cookies are tasty. We are very fortunate to have a new, hip, smaller sized venue, hosting national and international acts, in our area.

Recently attended the Peter White Christmas concert at the newly renovated PVCH. It is a fantastic venue since being refurbished. They have friendly staff working hard to give the patrons a great concert experience. Highly recommend and I’ll be back!

This newly remodeled venue is AMAZING!! My son and daughter-in-law had bought tickets here for us to join them to see Lyle Lovett. It was fun being from Texas, going to Florida to see him! The venue is beautiful! Everything is so intimate and felt clean and updated. There is a great outdoor patio upstairs where we enjoyed some drinks before the concert. They serve drinks in re-usable plastic cups that you can use again and buy refills at a discounted rate. They even have collection bins as you exit to recycle the cups if you don't want to take them home. It's such a nice sized venue with awesome acoustics. The restrooms are spacious and easy to access. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. I will definitely look forward to coming back here.

We recently attended a concert here after they had renovated the place. The place looks good inside and out. They put in a balcony with about ten rows of seats in front of the stage, as well as one row of balcony seats on either side of the stage. The sounds were also good. They also added a cafe with drinks and food on the outside of the concert hall.

Easy parking, the venue is nice and cozy. I wouldn't sit in the side balcony if you have any neck issues. Seats turn some but still may have to crane neck. Standing room in front of stage is good, if you can stand that long. Seating in balcony is nice, and drinks and restroom are near by. Thought the acoustics were a little off for the Wallflowers concert we saw. However, all in all a great place.

BEST PLACE EVER!! For all music and entertainment it is fun and exciting and fantastic service and the staff are always so kind caring and friendly their to helpful and love everything about this place and the food is fabulous and seriously come buy some tickets and enjoy the food and drinks and the place is so beautiful inside and out and after a loss of a amazing incredible legendary comedian they need to make sure to do a tribute In his honor of Bob Cusack, They are updating the building now and can't wait to see what it looks like and so proud of them keep up the good work and I been coming here for a while now thank you for everything all hard work and I appreciate it so much and u all deserve a rise and stay positive and and enjoy life and well done. Wonderful music venue. Intimate atmosphere with roughly 400 seats for a one of a kind musical experience. I saw the Geoff Tate Rock Show. Acoustics were great, lighting was awesome and what a show! Bar drink prices were reasonable ($12 or $18 double) and tasty. I was a little hungry and got a Pretzel Box before the show. Two nice hot pretzels with cheese and mustard for dipping. $8. Not bad at all. If an artist you like or want to see is playing here, I highly recommend.

Wow! What a great show Devon Allman and Donovan Frankenreiter! We saw the 17th show in a 59 state 49 day tour. Prayers they can make as the energy and showmanship was outstanding. This was a standing room only show! The energy was great. The venue small enough to enjoy the show. Easy parking in and out. 3 bars and a food truck! It was awesome!

Went to my first show at PV concert Hall last night. Omg I love Andrew Mcmahon! It was great seeing him in an intimate setting. Pros and cons on the venue itself: Pros: 1) tickets were reasonably priced 2) well organized to enter & leave parking & the building 3) bar tenders were efficient Cons: 1) So hot inside- I know it's the hottest week of summer, but some fans would have made a big difference 2) I was not aware some concerts are seated, others standing only. This was a standing only show with just a row of chairs on the perimeter of the floor. 3) had to park in grass that was up to my knees. Gross. Had to check for bugs/ ticks Now that I've been I will def wear appropriate shoes for the grass & the venue, and maybe check out shows at cooler times of the year.

They are starting to lose track of their mission. They now have security chasing people from the seats before the band is even at the merchandise table. At risk of being like the big heartless venues. That's not why people come here.

I always enjoy a good show at PVCH. Parking is easy. The sound is fantastic. Only downside is if you are at a seated show, those rows are tight. Like real tight. I am surprised there aren't more spilled drinks on people in there because stepping over people to get further into the row is a hazard for real. They have an interesting selection of artists that pass through. Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised at who gets added. Good times... I will be back.

Great place for an intimate concert. It is standing room only, so no "seats" are typically assigned. It can get pretty hot in the concert hall if there are a lot of people there. Otherwise, it is a cute small town concert hall with kind staff.

Beautiful little venue. Came here to see a podcast in a fan of last month. Ambiance is fantastic & employees are all super nice. Had a great experience!

Great spot for a concert! I moved here a few years ago and just went recently. What a great surprise! A bigger surprise was how easy parking was.

The volunteers were nice. The security and parking not quite as much. We had a disabled parking permit hung on the mirror but they still waived us through. The next guy gestured wildly for us to back up. The ladies room has a good amount of stalls. The seats, however, are ridiculous. The rows are set up exactly the same instead of staggered. You look straight ahead and see a line of heads. Tilt your head slightly to the side and see straight down the space between the line of heads. They are packed in tight with no elbow room. They are as narrow as airline seats with no armrest room. Even a slim person doesn't have much space, let alone someone of average or larger size. I will not attend a show at this venue again.

Awesome, quaint venue that tends to pick up a variety of good bands! Would give them a five star, but was irritated they wouldn't serve waters when the "bar closed." It's really, really warm in there... Warm enough that you will want an iced cold water. I hope they can reconsider the setup of their POS system so that customers can purchase at least water through the whole event.

Attended for comedy show. Venue has full bar with standard venue drink pricing & a small kitchen with basic snack items that are fairly priced. What's refreshing was the amount of staff for the event from the entrance to getting seated there were a great number of staff members and ushers all around who were all smiley & polite.

Great place to see a show. Easy parking. The venue is small so every seat is not too far away.

My wife and I have been to a couple events at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in the past year, most recently taking in a concert by our favorite ukulele player, Jake Shimabukuro. The concert was outstanding, but this review is for the venue. The building is easy to find off highway A1A. There is ample parking around the building (free both times we've been there in winter), within easy walking distance of the front door. Security has been present both times to check bags and wand you down for metal, and scan your tickets. I recommend not going super-early to your event, because there's not a lot to do once you're inside. Restrooms are to the left of the concert hall. To the right of the concert hall is a small area for buying shirts and other merch, and a larger room that had two bar stations and some snack selections such as pretzels. A co-worker told me this morning that the venue is actually a converted church where she used to attend services, which explains the inside layout a bit. Anyway, once you've wandered the whole of the inside, you can head into the concert hall. Both times we've been there, there have been assigned seats. However, I do find it a little off-putting to sit in padded folding metal chairs so close a bunch of other folks. No good place to put a drink or a purse except your hand or your lap. The chairs are close enough together that you want to do your restroom business before you sit down. You can get in and out if you have to, but the aisle space is so narrow, you're going to be passing your choice of nether-regions fairly close to somebody who (probably and hopefully) doesn't want it there! The venue is nice for a more intimate type of event, though. After the concert, the artist stuck around to do a meet and greet in the small room dedicated to merchandise. Only a small fraction of the crowd stayed for that, but I found it was a nice place to do that sort of thing. The main part of the line was in the bar room, and they brought just a couple people into the smaller room at a time to meet the artist. That actually worked really well to make the encounter feel just a bit more private.

We thoroughly enjoy going here for concerts. I do like it better when there are seats but general admission, rather than no seating. Plenty of friendly staff and bartenders!

It's o.k. I enjoyed the venue and the show. Well, I actually enjoyed the show more than the venue. First, it has a lot of charm and I'm so glad it's here and open to different entertainment experiences. Free- Private parking lot which is good because it's located off a the A1A highway. Security meets you at the door and entry is easy. Now... chairs are metallic folding chairs connected together. They do have extra cushions but it's a close, somewhat uneasy fit. I watched a woman in the row in front of me tell another woman to scoot over because she was too close. Ummmmm, yeah... that can't happen due to the seats being connected and it was super uncomfortable to see those two shoots darts through their eyes at one another. Seats are assigned. Show was easy to see because the stage is raised. This is good because audience seating is not raked, so you don't get any eyesight advantages if someone tall sits in front of you. They serve alcohol. However, they were super expensive and something tells me their bar tenders are seasoned professionals. I ordered a cranberry and vodka. I got the cheap vodka because the "good" vodka would have been twice the cost. It tasted like hellfire water. Did I also get the "cheap" juice because it didn't taste like the juice I've had in the past? I didn't ask for a lime because I thought with the way things were going, I'd for sure get an upcharge. lol I know this place needs to make it's money but this was a little pathetic. This place needs some work - all the way around- but it's hard for me not to support venues supporting artists.

I wasn't impressed with this venue. Folded chairs crammed together- bumping elbows with the stranger next to you. I had front row tickets for a great comedian & saw more than one bug crawling down the stage. Couldn't tell what it was, but it was enough to creep me out. Floor is unfinished cement. This was my first time here. I have no idea if they are remodeling- but from what I saw they need to. Not what I expected for Ponte Vedra.

The reason to keep coming back here? They consistently book solid acts. Other than that, the venue gives off the stereotypical neighborhood church appeal (maybe it used to be a church?) with carpeting, low ceilings in the lobby and out-of-date chairs. Contrary to what many folks have written, the last two times I've been here for a concert I DID NOT pay for parking. So, if they in fact offer free parking year round, HUGE success. Standing room only shows are 10x better than seated ones. Long, tight, jam packed rows with small seats results in spilled beer, wet pants, and rubbing against strangers you'd prefer not to rub against. In my humble opinion, some renovations are in order. Let's sex the place up a bit to appeal to the cool kids on the block. I understand the clientele they're generally catering to, but I think this venue can turn into a hip destination with a few changes.

Clean, intimate with great sound quality. I appreciate that they don't charge $20 to park. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. I wonder if they do the whole security check (purse and metal wand) for every single concert though. Last one we went to, we sailed right in. But this one, we were given the security treatment. Things that make you go hmmmmm. Regardless, had a fantastic musical evening. Glad to have another live music venue in Jax.

Very nice music venue which brings in top talent. The sound was fantastic from my vantage point. The music was crystal clear and really popped. General admission is standing room only but they did have seats along the edges of the music hall. They also have reserve seats off to the side at the front of the stage. They had people that directed parking, plenty of security and volunteers to help with anything. They also had police directing traffic before and after the show which made getting in and out a breeze! They had two bars which served beer, wine and mixed drinks so the wait time to get a drink was not usually very long. They had a limited number of food items that could be ordered at the back bar. All in all it is one of the better music venues of its size anywhere.

Great place to see a show. Intimate setting means there isn't a bad seat in the house. My wife and I traveled down to see Robert Earl Keen and loved every minute of it. A tip is don't buy seats audience right; the noise from the bar area can be very distracting. Either that's a common thing or there were just a bunch of inconsiderate people at the show we attended.

Sadly, we purchased expensive meet and greet tickets for Tommy Emmanuel, but when we showed to the gate, they told us 6PM and would not let us in. The meet and greet was at 5:30.,,they prohibited our greeting, but were happy to keep our money. Poor service venue.

My second time to this venue but the first time with seats. I saw Queensryche here a few years ago. This was before the split with Geoff Tate. Pretty cool since it was all standing and you could get pretty close to the stage. This night was complements of following their Facebook page. I won a pair of tickets for Upright Citizens Brigade - an improvisation comedy troupe. Their history includes the likes of Rob Riggle and Amy Poehler. I really like this venue. It's well run, has a good bar, and is an intimate setting. It's a perfect size to see acts up close and personal. My only complaint is a lot of the acts I want to see perform at St. Augustine Amphitheater since they are sister venues (I believe). If there is an act scheduled you'd like to see, I recommend this venue.

Cute venue to see an artist or band perform and easy to get to of A1A. It must have been an old church and rectory at one time, so it's neat that it was repurposed into a concert hall. We saw Jim Breuer back on March 9th and enjoyed the intimate setting as well as the opportunity to purchase VIP seats for a meet & greet, which we did. Well organized and the people running the place were nice. I was happy to see a refreshments and alcohol for purchase. Now for the downsides: The seats were extremely cramped and close together (not comfortable for anyone, especially a larger individual) and they charge $5 to park on the grass. The parking fee wasn't mentioned anywhere and I'm glad we had cash on hand (we usually don't!) otherwise we'd be SOL. Fun place to see a show, but bring cash!

Small music venue that captures the heart and soul of Ponte Vedra. The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is small intimate hall that hosts many different events through the year. The venue is small but holds a good amount of people seated and even more when standing. Normally it is GA standing room only, but some events have seats. I attended "A Night with Queen" and they had seats out, which was nice, but I think I prefer standing, since I hate hearing the sighs from people that I am standing in front of. There are a couple small areas for beverages, great selections (beer, wine, mixed drinks), but they are a little pricy! They have plenty of stalls in the restroom, so you don't have to stand in line for long if at all! Staff members seem friendly and happy to be there. And the parking is free!!!

I saw Henry Rollins' Travel Slideshow here and while the show was excellent I can't say I was a fan of the venue. The seating is tight. You're sitting on hard metal folding chairs that are (gasp!) connected together. That means if you are a person of size you can't even politely scoot your chair over so you neighbor has more room. I heard some small to average sized people with the same complaints so me and my thick thighs aren't imagining things. It is a snug fit. Plus no room for your bag or beverage unless you hold them or trust placing them by your feet. My anxiety was through the roof or as my husband so eloquently put it, I was "sweating balls." And speaking of your drink, it is super expensive which although not surprising is worth noting. I likely wouldn't go back unless I really, really wanted to see a particular show and there was an aisle seat available.

Last night I came to this venue for the first time to see Josh Ritter. I didn't even realize this place existed until recently. This location wouldn't work for all concerts but I think it was perfect for JR. We sat front row and were so close to the stage! The venue isn't huge which allows for an intimate feeling. They have a full bar and offer some snacks which is a great bonus. All of the staff working the event were very helpful and friendly. I hope we can come to more concerts here in the future!

Wow. I am super impressed with this venue! But before you read any further.... BRING CASH FOR PARKING... and go ahead and take out a few extra bucks for tipping the bartender. I'm not sure why this slipped our minds, but the security people did let us run in to use the ATM in order to go ahead and park. Ok, back to it. This is a small and intimate venue but it doesn't feel too cramped. (or at least for the show we saw last night, for a super popular group, I can see it getting a little claustrophobic in there.) The raised ceiling make it seem a bit bigger than it is, but what's great about it is, no matter where you stand, you can get a really great view of the stage and you can basically get as close as your little heart wants. The sound was amazing. The kind of sound that rocks your entire body, and you can feel the bass and drums run throughout your chest. But not so loud that is sounds distorted, I could hear every instrument on stage brilliantly. There were a few blasts of cool air that came sporadically during the show, that helped when you got a little too hot from dancing around. The bar had a decent selection of beers (your standard bud and bud lights, but also Sweetwater 420, Intuition and Guinness.) After you walk in, it's located to your right, and during the show is the only way in and out. The bathrooms are down the hall to the left when you walk in as well, and there were plenty of women's stalls, so you won't have to hold it and wait. Ponte Vedra is definitely picking up some awesome shows to add to their lineup too. Highly recommend if you see one of your favorites passing through... this is a real concert experience, and while big arenas offer a little more, THIS is what it's all about. The music. The crowd. The crazy guy dancing like he is trippin' balls. The young girl cutting through the crowd to see if she can get backstage. It's all here, and glorious. A++ and I can't wait to return.

Thumbs way up for the recently opened Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. As a concert-goer who resides at the beaches, I've attended countless events at The Freebird Cafe in Jacksonville Beach. I have to say that the quality of acoustics at this new venue blew me away. SJCVenues, the management behind the the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, converted the Cornerstone Baptist Church into a multi-purpose venue, complete with a full bar and lounge area. I was especially excited to see my favorite brewery, Atlanta-based Sweetwater, being served cold on tap. The acoustics at PVCH are absolutely phenomenal. Very crisp, CD-like quality, even at a standing-room only show with 800+ people. I had the pleasure of seeing the New Orleans Suspects and Darkstar Orchestra at this venue recently, and my friends and I commented on the impeccable sound quality each time. The classically "churchy" steepled ceilings and carpeted floors provide for an echo-free, BIG sound experience that had me thanking the lord for this venue! I rated them just shy of five stars because of the dark, winding road the venue is loacted on and the poorly lit parking areas, as well as the generally churchy vibe of the place. (Once you leave the crowd and head for the bathroom you will immediately feel like you're late for Bible study.) They do allow re-entry, which is a nice, unexpected plus for a concert hall. More renovations are in the future, so I'm excited to see this budding venue grow!

Really well-organized venue. All staff and volunteers were friendly and fun. Nice that they serve snacks like popcorn and hot dogs. I would've liked if there was some seating available at least on the sides or in the back of the viewing area. We were there for 5 and half hours and standing on the concrete floor that long gets painful. Also the boxed water is overpriced and tastes like cardboard. Considering they have what appears to be a fill bar setup they ought to be able to give you a cup of water for free.

What a real treat tonight. The Wailers were here and played some of everyone's old favorites. From No Women No Cry, to I shot the sheriff, even Buffalo soldier. Many many hits from days gone by. I really have to say I was impressed with the sound in the concert hall. This used to be a church back in the mid 80's when it was built. I know cause I worked on it. The place is wide open and has a good size bar to go alone with the concert. I have seen a bunch of new and mostly older bands laying here over the years. It's a good venue and I won't hesitate to come backfor more good music.

Went and saw Ed Kowalczyk , formerly of Live, for a solo performance. Very pleased with the intimacy of the venue. Acoustics were superb and although lighting had just a few snafus. Two bars were available to order a wide selection of drinks and there were a few tall tables around to linger at either before , during or after the show. Staff was wonderful, minus the unevenness of the ushers in enforcing photo and video regulations. Be advised to bring some cash as the bar and parking charges are cash only. They do have an ATM but the fees were exorbitant. The calendar of shows is out and if you see one of your favorite performers coming through the area you have to see them here or you'll be doing yourself a disfavor.

Awesome night of Bluegrass last night. Saw Leftover Salmon and Grandpa's Cough Medicine with my wife. This is a great place to see a show. Intimate but not too small. Great acoustics. Sound people were very good. The facility was very clean and the volunteers were extremely nice and helpful. Concessions on hand for beer and wine. Just a fun time. I will definitely be coming back. Really good shows lined up through the end of this year and into next.

Let me start by saying that my review is for the venue-not the act that I saw-the musicians were excellent, however the venue was lacking sorely in my opinion. The first issue I had were the seating arrangements. Picture it- you slowly shuffle through extremely narrow rows with a full glass of overpriced beer in one hand and a purse in the other- having to rub up against the butt (or frontside) of a stranger just to pass to your seat. Once you get past that awkward encounter and make it to your seat, you realize it's a mere folding chair. No more sturdy than the one at your uncle Bobs backyard BBQ two months ago. You finally accept this realization only to have a stranger sit closer to you than any two strangers should ever find themselves sitting. She coughs and sneezes, and you think "I never should've come here during flu season." If you can't tell... I wasn't crazy about the seating- it was awkward and uncomfortable to say the least. Now onto my second issue- the acoustics. The volume was way way too loud!! The small size and, low ceilings necessitate a soft touch with volume levels. I would've enjoyed the jazz concert much more had I been able to hear the piano solos without it being drowned out by a sax. I liken it to the philharmonic or transiberian orchestra playing in a school cafeteria. Needless to say I literally had a pounding headache as I trekked thru the wet grass and navigated through endless high beams to get to the car (parking situation wasn't so hot either). Overall I wouldn't choose to visit this venue again. While I liked the act I saw, and also the fact that there was police presence (people are nuts these days) it just left too much to be desired. Too low rent.

A hidden gem! Not a bad seat in the house. There is only one bar, so get there early to get a drink. Otherwise, no complaints about this place.

I spent over $60 for a ticket to see Steve Earle and The Dukes with The Mastersons, and then had to pay an extra $5 for parking! What an outrage. You can only pay for drinks with card if you're spending over $10 in one fell swoop. Seats are just plastic folding chairs and there's barely enough room for latecomers stumble by without falling on your lap- you can't stand for them to get by because of the type of seats. The sound was decent, but louder than it needed to be for the room. Stage set and lighting were well done. Overall, not a great venue. I've been to better and I've been to worse. It wasn't hot in there an there was no smoking inside; those were serious pros.

I recently attended the Clean Water Music Fest at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. This former church turned concert hall is a great addition to our neighborhood. I felt like I was "across the ditch" when I looked around at the crowd, listened to the music and sipped my Intuition Jon Boat. This venue is intimate with good acoustics. Some (former) big names have played here. I highly recommend seeing a concert here.

This place is wack and WAY overpriced. Obviously they are catering only to the snobby Ponte Vedra crowd. I think its an old church. Its a hallowed out shell of a room. Sometimes the chairs are lined up, sometimes its (painful) standing room only. The "bar" is an inky dinky set up outside the main room (no interesting drinks, no interesting bartender and it sucks waiting in a single file line to get a drink at a concert). The Sound is good but I know a few people who have performed there and they thought is was terrible.

I can't believe we have lived in Jax for 3 years and hadn't made it here yet!! My favorite Irish band was a great excuse to check it out. I loved how close we got to be to the action and the acoustics were really good. Beer prices were pretty reasonable and the selection was good. I will definitely be back for more shows!!!

Having never been to the venue before, I attempted to temper my expectations reinforcing the fact that it will just be the means to the end, as any concert stage really is. For some reason, I kept thinking it was an amphitheater, probably due to the common ownership wth the Saint Augustine Amphitheater. The concert hall is actually a converted church and easy to find if you are familiar with the area. We (my brother in law & his coworker) arrived fairly early so parking was easy and accomodative. After a brief and dare I say completely unnecessary security check we made our way inside the former house of the holy. The lobby is quaint as might be expected appointed with concert posters, pics of previous tour acts and a polite officer friendly to make you feel safe. The layout is simple, literally cool restrooms to the left, full bar and artist retail to the right. I was pleased to see the local brew Dukes Brown Ale on tap. At $9 a pop, it significantly adds to the overall cost of the event, but it keeps the lines shorter and probably reduces the post concert law enforcement action. The main hall had several rows of removable chairs for the patrons that care to sit. These are temporary but not uncomfortable and probably vary in number depending on the event. For the rock and roll show I attended, the pit area was rather large in comparison to the number of seats available. Finally, the building, as you may have guessed has excellent acoustics. I would most definitely see another show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

Upon returning I gotta say the place is cool and small but the acoustics are horrible to the point of unbearable at times. I could not wait to see Gary Clark Jr would of been by third time and I left 30 minutes in because the sound was so awful. Came back for Galactic the show was awesome, the acoustics were not as bad, but I recommend ear plugs there isn't much to soak up the sound.

This concert hall was not really what I was expecting. Came with the family to see Robert Earl Keene and had a wonderful time. The band and the acoustics from the venue were fantastic. $5 parking is quite reasonable. The drinks were expensive. I thought that the seating was extremely awkward. It was very difficult to get in and out of the aisles and there were folding chairs set up in tight rows which didn't really invite standing or dancing. If someone was standing they were blocking the view of people behind them and without a grade to the flooring I found it difficult to see even with people in front of me sitting down. Not my favorite venue, but I would return. I don't know if the set up is different for other shows, but I prefer going to free-bird live.

The venue is usually a great experience. Thursday ,1/15/18, apparently the staff did not care how the event went.. A concert, again normally a great experience, was allowed to be ruined. Instead of requiring guests to "sit" in their seat, several drunks were allowed to stand along the back wall..They kept drinking and kept getting louder and more obnoxious. The more they drank the worse it got. By the end of the concert it was almost impossible to hear the musicians over the sloppy, mouthy drunks. Approaching the Event Staff was a waste of time. TRULY A POOR EXPERIENCE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE. Apparently staff has put profit over all other concerns..

Nice room in an old church, sound was great right up front on the rail from the very first note. Bartenders, door staff, and the parking guys were all very friendly and helpful. We tailgated a bit before the show and definitely took note of the hardworking and super friendly parking staff outside. Great place for a show!
