Ponte Vineyard Inn

"How did it strike you on arrival?Equal parts elegant and rustic, this charming 60-room, Mission-style hotel is bedecked in brick pathways and Spanish tiles. Accommodations are grouped in a U-shape that's surrounded by rose gardens, vineyards, and a pond. In early 2018, the property will add 30 more rooms, plus a pool with an adjacent bar. Even with the expansion, the abiding principle here is serenity now; in fact, designated "quiet hours" run from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Nice. What’s the crowd like? You'll see mostly couples, plus families and wedding parties (it's a popular place to tie the knot). The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Rooms are clean, comfortable, and outfitted in whites, beiges, and browns—like a posh home study but brighter. All rooms, which range from 360 to 1,360 square feet, have balconies that overlook vineyards, mountains, or the fountain. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?With cushy, pillow-top mattresses, Ponte's beds are ultra comfortable. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? There's in-room coffee and tea, an iHome docking station, and a mini fridge. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down. The huge bathrooms have glass-walled showers, plus Gilchrist & Soames products, robes and slippers. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Wi-Fi is free, and there are no resort fees. Room service: Worth it?Don't miss breakfast or weekend brunch on the patio of the Bouquet Restaurant, a romantic space that feels straight out of Europe and overlooks the courtyard garden. Here you'll find soups and salads, as well as gourmet breakfast staples like cinnamon-swirl French toast or smoked salmon on an everything bagel. Try the $24 breakfast bar, an all-access pass to fruit, pastries, yogurt, steel cut oats, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruit juices, and coffee. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Vacation or not, it's worth waking up at dawn to spot the dozens of hot air balloons ascending over the lake and vineyard. Try some reds and whites at Ponte's on-site tasting room, housed in a former barn that's been retrofitted with modern interiors. If you prefer something more à la carte, a guided tour of the 300-acre ranch includes a tasting—you'll sip straight from the cask—and a wine-and-cheese plate to finish. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay? You're less than two hours from San Diego, but you feel as if you've been transported to Italy. Bottom line: worth it, and why?Who needs the crowds of California's larger tourism regions when you can have a stunning hotel, fine reds, and all the R&R you could possibly ever want from a wine country getaway?" - Archana Ram

Beautiful location, great service, and great tasting wine. Must visit for people who are looking for a romantic getaway and to taste the most exquisite wine. The wine tasting experience is top notch and we've received one of the best experiences on our trip. The only thing that prevented it from being perfect is the bed. It is a very soft mattress and my personal preference is firm. But don't let that stop you from getting one of the most amazing experiences in Temecula!

As a customer experience consultant with over 20 years advising Fortune 100 companies, I can confidently say that Ponte Vineyard Inn and Winery delivers a masterclass in hospitality. Natalie did an amazing job making us feel welcome and at home from the minute we arrived, she is a tremendous asset to the Ponte Inn. From the minute we arrived and were greeted by Natalie, every detail—from the layout and landscaping to the food, wine, and service—was thoughtfully curated and flawlessly executed. The staff were friendly, professional, and seemingly invisible during peak moments, yet always there when you needed them. We got to know nearly everyone by name, and their warmth made us feel right at home. It’s because of this incredible experience that we’re already planning our return next month—and we’ve proudly joined the wine club. Thank you to the entire Ponte team for setting a new standard in hospitality. We’re officially loyal fans!

First time here and boy do I have to say I am impressed. The beds here are SUPER comfortable...and I have stayed in a fair amount of hotels. The clog wasn't working but management fixed it right away. The outdoor patio/deck is such a nice touch. The building is super clean due to being built in 2012. The winery and the restaurants here were great I had no issues and the drinks/food were delicious. Overall I recommend this for first time Temecula stays like I did.

I really can't think of a negative other than the pool bar not being open for the season yet - pool itself was great! Everyone was lovely, the room was perfect and food at the resort was good. We especially liked the option of The Cellar for a different vibe from the other Vineyard resort restaurants. We will be back!

Google
Had a great experience overall. Excellent food and services. Tried all 3 restaurants and absolutely loved the food at each place. (One of the best wagyu burgers I've eaten at the Cellar.) The grounds are beautiful and it's awesome to be able to park near your room. However, I think there are a couple things that should be mentioned: 1) despite being 100 outside, the pool bar was close [they are losing money there - perhaps help is hard to find?], 2) the pool had some leaves wilting away in the bottom of the pool. Not a critical issue by any means, but given how nice everything was it was strange to see a "dirty" pool all weekend? 3) Lastly, my wife was disappointed that it was "old style cable TV" - everyone has some type of streaming service, she really wanted to watch a show - and couldn't believe they didn't have "Smart TV" for guests In any event, it was a fantastic weekend getaway for two.

I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding the racial discrimination my friend and I experienced at Pointe Vineyard Inn resort during our stay from 3-6 July 2025. On July 4th, both my friend and I encountered unacceptable behavior from employees Emma and Kim, which has caused us significant distress. Such treatment is entirely unacceptable and does not reflect the values of hospitality and respect that your establishment should uphold.||The first incident occurred with Emma during breakfast. We waited over an hour for food that never came. The restaurant was not crowded nor was it busy. Several parties came in afterwards and were served immediately. When the party of six arrived 45 minutes into us waiting and were served drinks and food before us - we knew we were not going to get served. We waited for another 15 minutes still questioning when we would be served. The response from Emma was, "soon." After we got up and left, we noticed our table was cleaned up almost immediately.||The second incident occurred at the tasting room with Kim. Both my friend and I decided to use our complimentary tickets for a free glass of wine after telling Kim that we would use our tickets for the wine and then come back for wine tasting. My best friend and I walked around the property enjoying the view and returned ready for wine tasting. We were "assisted" by Kim. I told her we'd like to proceed with our wine tasting. She proceeded to say to us quite rudely, "You do realize that you have to pay for this (meaning the wine tasting), right?" Needless to say that my best friend and I were both shocked and taken back by Kim's comment. I responded to Kim's poorly judgmental remark - informing her that if she has an issue with how I'm going to pay, she can charge it to room 221 since we are staying at the property for two more days. She snarled, gave us a wine menu and constantly watched to ensure we did not leave the bar before paying.||Although we were provided great services in the cellar by Donovan, Grayland, and Lucas it does not make up for Emma and Kim's lack of professionalism, poor attitude, terrible services or rudeness. I urge you to thoroughly investigate these incidents and address this matter promptly to ensure that no other guests endure similar experiences.||CreShenda Sands

Google
I absolutely loved our stay here. The restaurants and cellar are superb. The wine was so fresh and delicious. And the service was exceptional. I love that they are kid-friendly as far as wineries go. You can sit at any table with your kids, there's a swimming pool with a bar/food to order, and a pack n play available upon request. The whirlpool washer and dryer available to guests was so convenient. They have detergent complimentary and wool dryer balls. We will be back again.

Google
Great rooms and view with good restaurants. When we arrived we were greeted with two glasses of a white sparkling wine that was really good as I'm not a white wine drinker. Parking was really good, the food was good as well. We would definitely return at some pointe.

Yelp
Ponte Vineyard Inn is hands down one of our favorite places to stay -- not just in Temecula, but anywhere in Southern California. Every time we visit, we're reminded why we keep coming back. The property is absolutely stunning. Nestled in the heart of wine country, the views of the surrounding vineyards are nothing short of magical, especially at sunset. The entire atmosphere is peaceful and romantic, making it perfect for a weekend getaway, anniversary trip, or just a relaxing escape from the everyday. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a rustic-modern vibe that feels both upscale and comfortable. We love waking up and enjoying coffee on the balcony overlooking the vines -- it's the kind of setting that instantly puts you at ease. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone goes out of their way to make sure you feel at home. We also love that you don't have to go far for amazing food and wine. Bouquet Restaurant on site is excellent (highly recommend for brunch!), and of course, the Ponte Winery is just steps away for tastings or a leisurely afternoon sipping wine in the sunshine. If you're planning a trip to Temecula, do yourself a favor and stay at Ponte Vineyard Inn. It's charming, peaceful, and simply unforgettable. We can't wait to go back -- again and again.

Yelp
What a beautiful Inn. Wine tasting was fun.Our room was very nice with a beautiful bathroom. We had food and drinks down in The Cellar in the evening. Very nice pool and jacuzzi with games like corn hole, ping pong etc. there was a pool bar/restaurant that I was told was open in the summer. We ate breakfast there in the morning, it was just OK.

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel lobby and we are so excited to explore the hotel. We joined the wine club which I highly recommend!! We have a beautiful room overlooking the vineyards and it's so mellow and peaceful. It reminds me of the Westlake Village Inn but the Temecula version. It's a MUST DO and I'm so happy we chose this hotel We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful view. It is so quiet and peaceful and our room is beautiful overlooking the vineyards with a pool view. I highly recommend staying here!

Yelp
We had a wonderful weekend at the Inn. Our room was beautiful and it felt like we were staying in the countryside in Tuscany. The food at restaurant was delicious as usual and enjoyed the wine as well. We brought home some extra bottles to enjoy for the holiday season. We've been members of their winery for years and absolutely love visiting here!

Yelp
STAY AWAY!!! So we stayed here this last weekend for a wedding for 2 nights. We came back the second night at 11:30pm and to our dismay, the whole room was never cleaned up. No new towels. Nothing cleaned up from room service. Nothing. I complained at the front desk and they offered $100. We paid over $400 a night and this place can't clean up the rooms???? WTH!!!! They said it was because of covid we didn't do that and guests like not having their rooms cleaned! I was in shock. They don't tell you this upon check-in nor do they tell you this in documents in the room itself. They claim its on their website and email. Whatever. They are just hiding doing this because they put it there rather than tell guests and be upfront about it. Who wants to stay in a hotel room that has the smell of leftover food in the room??? Bottom line: If you want to pay over $400 a night and not get your room cleaned, stay here!! STAY AWAY!!!! Very shady way of operating a hotel.

Yelp
We stayed at the hotel for our honeymoon and anniversary! The rooms are spacious and beautiful! We usually get a suite and enjoy the beautiful balcony/patio space! For our anniversary we were surprised by a cute gift basket and wine! The staff are always very friendly and the amenities at the hotel are top tier. I would recommend staying whenever you're in Temecula.

Yelp
I love Ponte Vineyard Inn as much as their wine, if not more. Ponte Vineyard Inn is located next-door to South Coast Winery, can't miss it. The property is absolutely beautiful. It's stunning. The grounds and gardens are immaculate. They accommodations are endless. They offer great deals and rates for various wine club members, seniors, Veterans, and first responders, love it!! There are other deals and packages, like a country horse & carriage ride. The rooms have so many features: bath robes & slippers, signature bath amenities, fine linens, free Wi-Fi high speed Internet, in-room coffee and tea mini refrigerator, and so much more. The beds have always been comfortable, this is the most important thing and AC. The rooms have HVAC and a fast ceiling fan, amazing during the summer months. All of the king rooms are located on the first or second floor and have a covered patio or balcony that offers breathtaking vineyard or pool views. There's a small table set, so sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view and wine, of course. At check-in we were offered a complimentary glass of champagne, cheers! A nice way to settle in. If you want a better view of the pool, check out the new Poolside Bar & Café. They offer food and a full selection of cocktails, beers, and wines at the open-air Poolside Bar & Café. Enjoy dining poolside. The inn has great accommodations as well. I booked a room for my elderly parents, the bed was lowered, the shower was oversized and roll-in with grab bars, and a conveniently accessible commode. The perfect room with accessible supports. Nicely done. There is a restaurant on site, but I haven't tried it, yet. It's the Bouquet Restaurant & Bar and reservations are highly recommended. If you are up late, go down in The Cellar, a little hideaway with a premier full-service bar. The signature cocktails are tasty/pretty too. They have craft beer and gourmet entrees as well, perfect for a late night snack. Some nights they have live entertainment. Walk next door to the restaurant (The Restaurant at Ponte) by walking through the vineyard. Make sure to make a reservation for this delicious al fresco restaurant. It's no surprise that Ponte Vineyard Inn has it all, it's an award-winning boutique hotel. This property is a luxurious AAA Four-Diamond Inn. My destination spot in Temecula, always.

Yelp
My companions and I stayed at Ponte Vineyard Inn as a celebration. It was surprising to find it in a state of disrepair. My room was extremely loud. There was some sort of HVAC system just over the entrance or ran over and over all night, waking me up each time. One of the cushions in the sitting area was literally open because the zipper was missing. I liked the proximity to wine tasting and it was fun walking the grounds.

Bev M.

Yelp
What can I say about this beautiful Inn in Temecula? From the moment the doors opened I knew this was a special place. Debbie, at the front desk, made me feel welcome with a chilled glass of non-alcoholic wine. My room was beautifully decorated with a balcony that overlooked the 300 acres of the Ponte vineyard. The restaurant was cozy and the food was exceptional. This would be a great place for a wedding or just a weekend getaway. I can hardly wait to return..

Yelp
Updated review: Hotel manager called me to address issues and apologized for the situation with our service animals. I appreciate their prompt attention and empathy towards our concerns. We look forward to visiting Ponte again!

Yelp
Ok ok ok. Let me start by saying to totally ignore any review less than a 5. This place is incredible. Absolutely a great place to bring a person you want to impress. The views here are stunning. The customer service is on par with any Beverly Hills hotel. Eric who checked us in gave us the low down on the amenities and took his time to give his take on what we can expect staying here. This place is absolutely gorgeous. The food is spot on. The pool is great. EVERYTHING is fantastic. Oh and I was called the day before my arrival and they upgraded my room because I stared it was my wife's bday (which it was). The junior suites over looking the vineyard is amazing. Yo wake up at 6am and see hot air balloons lazily floating over the vineyard was truly a spectacle to view. That along with the paragliders. Really you can't go wrong here. The only thing I didn't like was the toilet. yes the toilet. It is a very unusual shaped. It is basically a funnel that you have to perfectly aim (and I'm not talking about number 1) to not stain. Serious. If your a messy person (if you know what I mean) you will miss and have to clean it up yourself for your loved one lest you look like a pig. I posted a pic. Lol. Even with that this place is a 10 out of 5.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I stayed here last weekend and we really liked it! The pool was really nice, one of the highlights for us! There was not that many people and the pool and jacuzzi was clean. The room was so nice, they gave each person in the room a bathrobe and slippers. We got two Queens, 3 girls, and it was very spacious. We didn't eat at the Inn so I can't tell if their food is good or not. Service was great though. Overall I would stay here again!

Loren S.

Yelp
Our room came with an oversized balcony with an amazing view of the vineyard! You're in Europe without the flight. Ponte wines are excellent and especially the outdoor restaurant. My wife eats gluten free. They make GF bread on the premises. A definite stop when visiting Temecula, Ca

Yelp
Really nice hotel with friendly staff and great views. This is a refreshing escape from Napa as it feels more casual while also being just as nice . The rooms were incredibly large and had all the expected amenities one would expect from a nice hotel. The onsite restaurant for breakfast was fantastic.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to stay here while visiting my son and his young family. It is a beautiful place! The grounds are lovely with greenery, flowers and fountains. My room was perfect for me. I marveled at the size of the shower in my King room. Everyone that works there wears a smile. They are all about customer service. The restaurant was perfect for brunch with family and also by myself. Cindy is one of the most amazing servers I have ever encountered. She wears her smile proudly and is all about making you comfortable and happy. She was wonderful with my twin grandchildren and did all she could do to make it a positive experience. Let me say she succeeded in a very big way. I requested her services when I popped in for a quick bite before leaving. My son and I visited the winery for a complimentary tasting. Again, the service was top notch and with a big smile too. Wine tasted great. I preferred their sparkling, but tasted others as well. Thanks to Laureen for her expertise! I will definitely return on my next trip to Temecula.

Yelp
Giving it 4 stars cause the bed wasn't very comfortable but everything else was a 5 star place ! From the location down to the pool and food and service ! Love this place and will come back soon . We had a great time .

Yelp
Employees here are nice. The room at the Vineyard Inn not so much. Noisy... the room had very odd and strange sounds like water gushing down pipes. Not a once or twice thing... but all night long. And it was loud. The toilet kept running all night... this was a different water sound. The shower would never warm up past a little cooler than warm. Never hot. The shower water pressure was far from decent or normal. More than a trickle, but way less than you'd want for guests. We were on the 2nd floor and the wood floors creek when walking in 50% of the room. Overall... I would not stay here again. Come here to sample wines... but do not stay in their rooms... as It's roughly the same as staying at a Rodeway Inn.

Yelp
Quick getaway with my cousins to Temecula. We chose to stay at the Ponte Vineyard Inn. The grounds are beautiful. Love the Mediterranean style decor and atmosphere. The wisteria trees in full bloom were the highlights if our trip. So much beauty all around. So happy that we got to be here during this time. Overall a great place to stay at. Close to other wineries. Has two restaurants, a gift shop and a tasting room. Nice pool/jacuzzi area. Too bad it was cold. We had a pool view room on the first floor and loved it. Wish we could go swimming as well but well maybe next time. Customer service is the reason of the four star review. Needs friendlier team members.

Yelp
Just enjoyed an overnight stay at Ponte for a family birthday trip, and we were all very happy. This would be a lovely venue for a wedding ir retreat. We enjoyed the welcome Moscato glass on arrival, rooms with patios & all the amenities we needed, a nice pool, as well as restaurants & a vineyard on the property. We would absolutely come again!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here with my sister for Christmas. This was such a beautiful, intimate place and truly exceptional experience. We enjoyed some wine by the fire pit in the courtyard in the evening, and had an AMAZING breakfast at the Bouquet patio. The restaurant was so competent and respectful in accommodating all of our allergies and sensitivities! They had a gluten free bread option as well as alternative milks (we got an almond and oat milk latte!) The room was absolutely perfect--amazing shower, comfortable bed, quiet balcony with a vineyard view as well as hot air balloons (such a fun surprise when we woke up). We will definitely be coming back here in the future!!! Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!

Yelp
Beautiful grounds and modern amenities. The facility is really beautiful and peaceful. Sitting in the open area behind the hotel it feels like you're in the Italian wine country or southern France. It was a good thing they had the sign up by the pool because I was about to dive in with the full on runs.

Yelp
I stayed here one night this week for my brothers wedding. This hotel was absolutely amazing. I was hesitant going to sleep at a hotel post pandemic, but one step into the room and all my fears vanished. The room was beautiful and I would definitely come back again! Only negative was the breakfast. I ordered room service and had the eggs. Sausage,And hash browns. For 18 I'd say I definitely overpaid. The eggs and potatoes lacked flavor. Perhaps the other restaurant on site is better.

Tracy L.

Yelp
Are you looking to pay premium prices for a snobby and rude staff? If so, look no further! Do you want to watch the staff provide others around you with complimentary champagne while you are passed up cause you are dressed in shorts for the grape stomp? Then you have found your place! Recommend this place if you are looking for staff to discriminate against you. Make sure you enjoy the loud bangs that come thru the wall in all hours at night and the staff that rolls their eyes when you mention it. Just an extra bonus; the hotel manager is extremely rude and disrespectful. She made it clear that there is no way to get ahold of the owners. Update: can management provide the resolution for what was done for the zero tolerance for this particular discriminatory event? The hotel manager was extremely rude and started yelling at me when I was trying to explain the situation and ask for an explanation. Unfortunately, management can not claim a zero tolerance and allow discrimination to occur....

Cheryl D.

Yelp
The Inn is very nice with comfortable and clean room but the restaurant is terrible and put a damper on our stay . Server was odd, the entrees came out when we were only half finished with our salads, and our seafood was horribly overcooked. At breakfast, the place was essentially empty but we were told there was a 25-30 minute wait. Ended up having snacks from lobby shop for breakfast as we had an appointment and couldn't wait that long. They need to close the restaurant if they can't fully staff with competent chef!

Yelp
We had a soccer tournament at Galway Downs and Ponte Vineyard Inn was a convenient 12 minute drive from the fields. We had been previously for wine tasting and lunch. Loved the accommodations! Had a lovely corner room by the pool with a gorgeous patio, tucked into the vines, lots of greenery and really enjoyed sitting out there and enjoying the view. Pool and hot tub were great! Wish the pool bar and grill was open early and later - kept missing it. Ping pong, cornhole and golf in the pool area. Cute walk from the inn to the tasting room/restaurant. Did takeout from Bouquet one morning for brunch and they were super quick and inexpensive. Would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
We got the room w the pond view, really nice! I like the hotel very clean ! Would definitely come back here

Yelp
Beautiful from start to finish. We stayed here to attend a nearby wedding. The property is classy and relaxing. Check in and out was easy. No surprises. Parking was free which was very appreciated and convenient going in and out. The room was very large and spacious, tastefully decorated and the French doors opened to a scenic view. My favorite part of the stay was waking in the morning to see hot air balloons floating in the sky. Such a cute novelty. We then walked the grounds later in the morning. They had coffee and fig bars out for guests and even gave me a bottle of water for my walk. While they had no walking path, we were able to meander the property. Breakfast at The Boutique was good and convenient as the outside patio was right outside our room. Loved every minute of our stay and wish it was longer.
google avatar

Yelp
We decided to give this place a try for breakfast and it was a solid choice. The French toast were really good and the apples on top were the perfect touch to really accentuate the flavors. The mimosas were good and overall it was a solid experience.

Yelp
One of the best stay I have ever had. The quality of the service was incredible. The room we're so nice and clean. I went with my bestie and 3 other friends. The suite were so big and comfortable. Super relaxing and beautiful. I would definitely come back to Ponte Vineyard Inn.

Yelp
"Brunch at Bouquet Restaurant at the Ponte Inn'" You have some amazing employees working here... I would love to complement Alexis at the front desk/Concierge, also Neha at the Bouquet Restaurant... both went out of their way to help us seat a party of 8 on short notice... The food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the different things they ordered..... the wait staff was amazing. Thank you so much!!!

Lisa N.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! I felt like I was somewhere in Italy. The hotel rooms are beautiful and we had a cute lacing. The pool is heated and Olympic size. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I tried booking another stay, and they are completely booked weekends for months! I really enjoyed the restaurant at Ponte and the bar downstairs, food and drinks were very good. I do wish the bar downstairs was open a little later on weekdays during the summer. I had breakfast in the restaurant by the hotel lobby and the food was mediocre, but we ate outside in the patio and had a beautiful view. The cappuccinos were good though. I will definitely be back as soon as I can find an opening.
google avatar

Anise P.

Yelp
An incredible place to stay. I requested that our room be on the first floor overlooking the vineyards, and that's exactly what we got. Chilled bottle awaiting our arrival. Comfortable bed, great AC. We did breakfast at the on-grounds restaurant Bouquet, good experience. Dinner at the restaurant closest to the tasting room-- even better. Our server was wonderful & so friendly. We're a young, established couple in our early 20s... probably the youngest there that weekend, yet were treated with the same hospitality. Happy about that. Only complain was that our shower drain was slightly clogged. Wasn't a huge deal breaker. But nonetheless, the reason for 1 less star. Great stay & good wine. Took 4 bottles home, and might just become a member in the near future.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I cannot say enough good things about this place. My husband & I were wowed from the time we drove up till the time we checked out. I was looking for a winery/vineyard/hotel to stay at for my birthday and originally I was going to book Southcoast winery until I looked into its reviews, needless to say I stumbled upon Ponte and I'm so glad I did....the grounds are beautiful & serene, the room had amazing views and the staff was so nice....I mentioned in my reservation that I would be visiting to celebrate my birthday and when we checked in we had a special touch in our room (a bottle of moscato on ice with a "Happy Birthday!" Note attached) such a nice touch to an amazing stay...we made it a point to wake up at sunrise, as a result we witnessed the most amazing sunrise and also got to see the hot air balloons rising in the distance. 5 star experience all around...we will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Dani L.

Yelp
The grounds of the Inn are beautiful. We had a room facing the pond and it was so nice. The bed was so soft (I love, my husband hates) and there was a little sitting area in the room along with a porch so it doesn't feel cramped. We had called the day before and the day of to see about an early check in and they made it sound like it would be possible but we arrived around 1:30pm and didn't get our room until almost 4pm which is normal check in time... which, totally understandable if there was no availability, I just wish they had let us know so we went and did something else in the meantime. While waiting to check in, we wine tasted at their winery. None of the wines really spoke to us but we heard people coming in to buy bottles they had tried previously, so clearly they have fans! They also gave us a pool key on request to be able to use the pool while we waited, which was great. The pool bar was closed, along with any other bars so the only option was their wine, which, as mentioned, we weren't a super huge fan of. The pool and hot tub were great and I felt like we were near all the wineries we wanted to visit. The grounds were gorgeous and we really liked our room. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The one thing I will say is that they tout their bar as being the first full bar so when we went I expected them to be pretty decent. The cocktail menu was very small and underwhelming and I asked for a whiskey sour. I stepped out to make a call and my husband heard the one bartender asking the other about how to make a whiskey sour, which is a pretty standard drink. It wasn't super great and I had told my husband that it was okay, but the bartender came over and confronted me about talking about how she made my drink and I was super taken aback. I definitely didn't say anything rude or demeaning and I was just really surprised to be called out especially when it's like... her job to know how to make drinks? And if she doesn't, then like, to totally call out a customer? I for sure let her know I wasn't trying to be rude and it just didn't taste like it normally does and she was friendly after that and gave me some recommendations for dinner spots but we definitely didn't go back to that bar even though it was the only one in our hotel/close by. Side note: we saw a little toad on the path near the pond. He was super friendly and jumped into our hands. We are nature lovers so this was a super fun experience!

Yelp
Stayed here for a weekend and it was amazing from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with a cup of champagne as we checked in. We then ate at the Bouquet restaurant for breakfast and the food was fantastic! Our room was spotless and the view of the vineyards was the cherry on top. Spent the afternoon at the pool and ended our night at The Cellar. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Yelp
We came back again, and we still love this place. Beautiful rooms with balconies overlooking the vineyards. The restaurant is an easy place to sit back and enjoy the wine list and pizza. We will be back yet again.

Yelp
I had the most perfect Birthday weekend at Ponte Vineyard Inn!!! One of the reasons we chose this hotel for our stay was because It was close to other vineyards but honestly we had the best time here we never even left!!!!! When we checked in we got a free tasting and the wines were sooo good!!! We caught a buzz then had lunch and then went to the pool. The pool was sooo nice and the drinks were delicious! The bed in the room was so comfy and they had amazing amenities! We can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Each year we spend a night in wine country where we got married 15 years ago. This year we chose Ponte Vineyard Inn. I was really impressed with the hotel. The room was spacious. Bed was comfortable the amenities and surrounding are beautiful. The price matched the quality throughout. From the warm greeting at check in with complimentary glass of sparkling wine to the free bottle of red to celebrate our anniversary. The customer service was exceptional. The pool is large and was very comfortable. The Bouquet restraint was delicious and has a full bar which not all restaurants in wine country have. They could use a few more options to me ie but it was prepared well. We enjoyed breakfast in the room and stayed to enjoy the pool on day two. If you are looking for a great place to stay in wine country I suggest you book a room here.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. The tasting room was beautiful and the staff provided a classy and comfortable experience. This is an established winery in the area, and it really shows.

Yelp
Stayed here for our weekend getaway in Temecula, and cannot rave enough about this place. It's a gorgeous inn with a very boutique, intimate feel, and has an on-premise vineyard and tasting room as well as several restaurant options. The Spanish style architecture is absolutely gorgeous, and the rooms are very nice and luxurious. The service here (primarily the front desk) was spectacular. From the moment we arrived at check in (and were served a delicious, chilled sparkling white wine), to helping us with winery/restaurant recommendations as well as booking our hot air balloon ride, to checking out--everything was smooth and flawless. If you have any questions or need help making reservations or planning activities, don't hesitate to reach out to the front desk! Every single person I spoke to was super helpful and sweet. The location is perfect, it's just minutes away from many of the wineries, and about 15-20 minutes to Old Town. Very easy to grab an Uber from here FYI.

Yelp
What a lovely lovely hotel. Beautiful grounds, vineyards galore. The rooms are spacious and most have a patio with views into the vineyard.

Yelp
We decided to stay at Ponte despite living only about 1.5 hours away just to avoid traffic after a long afternoon of wine tasting. The room itself was nice, comfortable, and we enjoyed a lovely vineyard view in the morning after the rains passed. I must, however, deduct just a few points for noise. At around 3am I awoke to what sounded like water in the pipes. I awoke thinking the toilet might have been running, but it wasn't. The nose was from above and behind the walls. Imagine running water meets coffee percolating meets metal sounds. My husband slept through it, but I was wide awake for more than an hour. Just as the activity would die down, it would start back up again. I can handle white noise but not irregular, erratic, sounds. I have a video as proof. I did mention the issue to reception. The woman with whom I spoke, whose two-word name now escapes me--was very kind, took note, and offered to comp our breakfast. I thought that was a nice touch accepted, especially considering I knew I'd need a nap in the afternoon. I do hope they are able to troubleshoot the issue, for the sake of the next guest(s). PS-the room was #221.

Yelp
This was my second stay at Ponte Vineyard Inn. First of all the property is gorgeous. It's clean, spacious, luxurious and feels so welcoming. They actually have good shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the large shower. They have makeup remover wipes and other wipes in the toilet room to freshen up. The pool is a great hang out. Dinner at the ponte restaurant was very good but pricey. I was there for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and I had an amazing time and what a treat after this pandemic. Will go again.

Yelp
Great vineyard - great wines - two decent restaurants - loads of photo ops - modern and comfortable rooms. Winner all around. The also have a gym (didn't visit it this trip) and a pool (was winter, didn't visit). The Barrel Room was closed during our visit so I can't comment there. The only negative is no room service...it would be grand to have breakfast brought up, especially on cold winter/spring mornings, and enjoy the balcony and views of the valley. We look forward to returning.

Yelp
Have stayed at Ponte now three times over the last decade. Just like the vibe and the quality of accommodations here. Rooms are very spacious. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are quiet. Bathroom is well appointed. Robes and slippers supplied. It is right in the heart of the wine country and yet just about 12 minutes from downtown, so it could not be more convenient. There are lots of places to go for walks each morning before heading out to the wine touring. Many mornings we had hot air balloons passing by during my walk. The pool area is very nice. Other outdoor areas have gas fire pits to sit around. There is a small lake/pond to sit around as well. It is a smaller hotel and has no meeting space, so there are not the crowds like some of the places in Temecula have. While not expressed anywhere, I have not seen any kids during our three stays, so this feels very much like a hotel geared to adults. Highly recommend staying at Ponte as they do everything right.

Yelp
First stay at the Ponte Vineyard Inn. The grounds are beautiful with a Spanish style vibe. The hotel is well kept and clean. They do a great job taking care of the grounds. The only thing that wasn't great is the view. I assumed we would have a room with a vineyard view (similar to Carter Estate) however the view is of the pool. At over $500 per night with a minimum 2 night stay I would have liked the vineyard view. Room was also on the smaller side. There are also no bellboys, you have to take your bags to your room which is not ideal if you have been traveling to get here and you just want to start relaxing. The hotel is very quiet which is really nice. The beds are very soft, I am someone that prefers a firm mattress. You almost sink in. Front desk is great and very friendly. Walked to the tasting room and every bottle of wine I tasted I had to buy, the wines are very very good. Eman was the best part of my tasting room visit. She is so knowledgeable and sweet and fun. She really enhanced my tasting room experience. Hotel was standard. Kinda on the pricier end for what you get.

Yelp
I could not get over how much I loved this hotel. Quality, quality and quality. Waking up in the most comfortable bed to a vineyard and hot air balloons . Service was great, pool was clean, rooms were so nice and very clean, great toiletries for the guests and delicious food. My complaint if I had to find something was that I didn't like their coffee. I can live with that.

Yelp
We spent over $600 to stay one night at Ponte Inn for our 15 year wedding anniversary. Upon entering our room, we turned the air conditioner on to cool off from the 100 degree heat. It started making a very loud, constant screeching sound. I captured it on video but cannot post the video here to Yelp so you will just have to imagine the sound of 1 million crickets being tortured to death and simultaneously screaming. We called the front desk and we were told they all sound like that. First disappointment. For convenience sake we decided to eat at Ponte restaurant on the grounds. I ordered a lobster pasta. It was probably the worst pasta I've ever tasted - overcooked squishy noodles and bland milk poured on top. The lobster tasted fishy. Even after wine tasting all day it still tasted horrifying. I told my server about how it was no good and thankfully she swapped the dish out for a Korean BBQ. That was good. 4/5 stars good. Unfortunately she forgot to bring my glass of wine out with dinner. The reason it was $600+ for one night was because we did the GoGrape Wine tasting tour. That was a blast. 5/5 stars for that part of it. But I wish we had stayed at Southcoast instead. Or even Pechanga.

Yelp
Stayed one night and it was so disappointing. It was about 50 degrees and dropping and the heat in the room did not work and they had no other rooms for us. The service was not what you'd expect at this hotel at a rate of $420 a night plus taxes/fees.
