Pontio Arts and Innovation Centre

A modern arts centre with theatre, cinema and bar area. The theatre is small but every seat has a great view of the stage. All staff are extremely pleasant. Will certainly visit Pontio again, if the right act is appearing.

How do we live in one of the most beautiful locations in Wales but this building always feels dull & empty inside? Can we please have more Welsh decor & artwork to give this building a sense of place. Drinks have been awful recently.

One of the best Cozy and Relaxing place in Bangor University especially after long lectures. If you need a Hot cup of coffee or any light snacks there are Kiosks at a very reasonable price. Restaurant at Ground floor also has good options.

I love coming to Pontio. The cinema is intimate with a good rise in seats so you always get a good view.

Badness tribute band was amazing, pre show djs in the foyer, amazing. Good friendly atmosphere.

Lovely theatre. Comfortable seats & a fabulous show. Stars of the Welsh West End. Highly recommended.

Such a great place to visit, especially as a student, lots of places to sit down and study, as well as a cinema/theatre and a few cafeterias, lovely quiet atmosphere.

Great that this place is getting audiences and attention after years of mis-firing. Seen some great shows here and love how busy it has been every time I've attended with people of all ages visiting it. Only gripe is a bigger one to do with Bangor. Have later bus times so people can go for drinks after seeing a show and bolster the night life.
