Went to see Darryl Smith and the soul syndicate, great night with lits of audience participation..

The most warm, welcoming and wonderful people in the whole of the UK. I am honoured to be here in their company.

We saw the Flabberghast Theatre production of Macbeth on March 13th 2026 and could not make out a word of it. The acting and presentation appeared to be unusual and well done but either the diction or the acoustic at Pontio made following the plot impossible (unless, perhaps, you already knew it off by heart). I have been to a lot of performances in the Bryn Terfel Theatre and not had this before. It was such hard work trying to understand who was who and what was happening I gave up and fell asleep, as did the fellow beside me. Some friends of ours told us they left in the interval and did not return, for the same reason. Very disappointing. A complete waste of money.

Attended a really good show sat 18 April Andy Fairwetherlow Low with the low riders Thoroughly enjoyable Great night out The theatre was good ,good seating with unrestricted views if the stage,and good acoustic sound All staff very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable,and happy to greet you Easy access for wheelchairs Good selection of drinks at the bar Definitely go again,have already booked two shows , Also a good variety of entertainment Well done Pontio

A rather interesting venue. Reminiscent of some brutalist architecture transposed by Gothic splendor behind. The aptly named kitchen upstairs, we were informed, does remarkably good coffees and salads. Prices are keen and the furniture functional. Inside the theatre we met Aled Jones. Photos taken and autographs obtained. Pre show meet and greet lasted around 45 minutes. Full Circle indeed. Books purchased. We can now also say that we have sung with Aled. Quite a remarkable feat. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
