"Eat Breakfast at Pop’s Restaurant Pop’s Restaurant is on a side street close to the heart of San Ignacio. Colorful booths and brightly painted walls welcome you in, and the menu focuses on breakfast, served all day. Pop’s feels cozy, the kind of place you want to linger over several cups of coffee. Most guests are locals, who rave about the breakfast as being the best in town, but visitors are enthusiastically welcomed. Most meals come with fruit and I thought their fry jacks were the best I had in Belize . Pop’s is open from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., every day."

The orange juice was good. They do add water to it so it’s not 100% freshly squeezed. The flour tortillas with butter were the best! Kids like the waffles. Overall good and good prices. It’s a small place. They do take cards for those traveling.

We arrived in town early and couldn’t check in yet, so we stopped at this café on recommendation. The breakfast was delicious and exactly what we needed after an early start. Coffee refills were free, and everything was served with a smile. The place is very clean, well managed, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Another plus—no extra charge for paying by card. Highly recommended.

The food was Amazing. Will definitely go back again when I visit Belize. The only thing was that I wanted some more fresh pepper sauce but they ran out. Other than that I enjoyed the food.

This is the first place I thought of when I have an early pickup for a tour. Pop's open at 6am so its good to have a proper breakfast before going for a tour. I arrived at 6 but they weren't ready, the staff was still cleaning and moving some stuff while she passed me the menu. I heard about something interesting which I wanted to try, the Chaya. Its the Mexican Spinach which can be added into the omelette and heard it has a lot of health benefits. Took a while for breakfast to arrive but it smelled so good I started gorging. The taste of the chaya and the eggs tasted good and I added it inside the fry jacks. Totally loved the combination of that. The fry jacks were very well fried and hot. Managed to have some time still before the tour pickup. Met my expectations of a good and proper breakfast and reasonable price.

This place has a good breakfast, but I was a little disappointed when I ordered orange juice because they said it was fresh squeezed. They definitely added a lot of water to the juice. The food was not bad but the pancakes my son ordered were not very good. You can get the Belize classics, and they are definitely good.

Since this is the only place opened at 6, perfect spot for breakfast. Food comes out in around 15 mins, freshly made. First time having chaya here as well, like a more flavorful Spanish, price is decent too.
