Giving 3 stars only because the chef delivered (food was great!) and the decor/atmosphere was adorable… the staff was also very friendly when we did interact with them. However, we were the only people in the whole place when we arrived and service was SO SLOW! We had to get up from our table and request our first round of drinks from the bartender because they sat us and no one came to take our order. After our first round, I definitely had sat at the table with an empty glass for quite some time waiting for someone to take our next drink order while the 3 employees working walked around the empty restaurant appearing to be busy but there just wasn’t anyone else there so it was a very confusing experience. I even asked the bartender if there was a patio somewhere out of sight because I couldn’t believe that we were the only people in such a small place and getting such a lack of attention. I was told that there was in fact a patio but it wasn’t open for the season yet - so still no explanation I could find for the lack of service. A second table eventually walked in and sat down near us but they ended up walking out because no one took their drink order after being seated either. Very unusual for such a small place with 3 people working and only 2 or 3 tables total! I would say the staff should definitely work on their attentiveness to tables a bit. Lot’s of potential but didn’t deliver a great experience for me. I wouldn’t be excited to go back and spend $100 again. Overall, extremely disappointing as we were there specifically to “pop” champagne and celebrate (which I noted in the reservation) but instead we felt ignored and like a burden to the staff.

Celebrated NYE at Pop Sparking wine bar and restaurant. This a quaint interesting food venue in Lafayette Square across from Lafayette Park. Part of the Baileys food family of restaurants. I experienced a champagne cocktail for a kickoff to the new year. Pop's offers board's, small, plates and large plates For dessert you can go upstairs to Bailey's Chocolate Bar desserts are not on the menu for Pop's. A new experience for my next food experience . I ordered the pheasant ragu, a large plate. Lynn ordered the brie small plate. For a food starter we had the brie cheese plate. All of the food was delicious. I forgot about pheasant being a small bird with small bones not too different from some fish you may order. This is an expected thing. Dinner at Pop's is not just a dinner but an pleasant event to experience Treat yourself to a special night.

Overeating is a life requirement at this tapas-style shareable menu spot, POP. One of everything please. Our stuffed peppers, cheese board, zucchini carpaccio, tomato tartare, fries and shrimp were exquisite and delicious! The champagne and bubbly selection is unmatched in St. Louis! From French finesse to Spanish flair, Italian charm, American spirit, and beyond, the sparkling bar embraces the global effervescence. And dessert is right upstairs at Bailey's Chocolate Bar!

I had always walked *through* this place to get to the chocolate bar upstairs, but I'm really glad we had dinner here! The drinks, food, service, and ambience were perfect for a date night.

Google
Upscale bar with a speakeasy vibe located in Lafayette Square. POP serves up a wide range of champagne, sparkling wines, ciders, and even champagne cocktails (including one mixed with stout). There is also a snack menu that includes delicious small plates. POP definitely brings a new take on enjoying a glass of bubbly! Cheers!

Google
Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place!! We ended up sitting alone and saw a lot of people trying to get in to this chocolate resturant upstairs, but honestly people are missing out on this place!! The cocktails were amazing! The bartender was so sweet and the food flavors were way better than expected! We came for the drinks and ended up liking the food just as much!! 10/10 recommend honestly do yourself a favor and just come here.

Google
My friend and I had a wonderful time at Pop on Friday. We were there celebrating my birthday and the staff made sure that it was a fun celebration. Our server was so sweet and knowledgeable- she has great recommendations. The champagne flight was fun and reasonably priced, and the food was delicious as well. We chose to sit outdoors and had a great view of the cutest garden area. Will be back!

Super cozy and the wine fleets are a must! Food was on the pricier end, but service was excellent!

Yelp
Every neighborhood should have a champagne bar! I met some friends here before going to an event by the stadium and it was such a great spot to get some drinks/ eats before! Parking in LS can always be a little tricky on Park, but there's always room on side streets if you don't mind walking a smidge. The aesthetic of Pop is truly eye catching. It's warm with plant views and soft lighting and definitely focuses on the details. I did not eat, but got an aperol spritz. Delicious as I assumed it would be- plus who doesn't love lots of spritz options? Lots of bubbles and drinks that may not be your automatic go to's (although mine was ha). I will just have to come back to get another new to me bubbly drink!

Yelp
Very nice quiet place for a date night or girls night for some wine and appetizers. Love the ambience.

Yelp
I went to POP Restaurant that's a beautiful restaurant in the Lafayette Square neighborhood on a Sunday night. The POP restaurant is apparently partnered with Bailey's Chocolate Bar that's in a different space that looked pretty busy. I was starving so I ordered the steak frites that's quite a meal and it was delicious and the fries had Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top and the steak came with a delicious sauce underneath the beef along with an arugula salad with a nice vinaigrette dressing. So I had a very nice dinner in an elegant space with nice servers. This restaurant also serves several dishes tapas style that I'll have try some next time. I actually went to POP because I read they had great smashpatty burgers but they didn't have them any longer but no biggie and I still had a great dinner.

Yelp
I can't begin to express our appreciation for the team at Pop. My daughter hosted a bridal shower for her sister on a Saturday afternoon and the staff went over and above any service I've seen. They helped us set up, kept the Champaign flowing and food tables stocked. And the food! Everything was absolutely delicious. The event room in the back was perfect for a shower with 24 guests. The staff Stayed close by to handle gift wrap and food trash and anything else they saw they could help with. It was like having family with us. Née and Roosevelt and Tara and ?name? We're eager to serve in any way we needed. I would absolutely return for any event.

Yelp
I went to POP because they were hosting a fundraiser for a early childcare center. Some proceeds of the meal would be dedicated to that organization. I am thrilled POP hosted the event. It is a lovely restaurant to dine for a evening out. The space is on the first floor of the building. The second level is Baileys Chocolate Bar. I requested one of their cocktails without alcohol. I enjoyed the Pear drink but did not love it with Elderflower liqueor in it. I started with a plate of parmesan frites If your meal does not come with a side of fries. l would recommend you order them as an appetizer. The steak met expectations and the potted crab pleasantly surprised me. The host and all those I interacted with could not have been any kinder.

Yelp
Cute place. Went here for the first time tonight with my two other friends/coworkers. This ace parking is street parking. Since today is Friday night, therefore busy, I have to park about one block away. This place is great. The service is very prompt. The server he check in on us very often. The food is qreat. The fries are cook just right, crispy and soft on the inside. The cheese player are great. The drinks are great. There are options from sweet to dry drinks.

Yelp
Loved the variety of bubbly they serve, but was underwhelmed by the food menu. Our salmon crepe was delicious, but that and a couple of other crepes (ham & Swiss or BLT) were the only entree like items on the menu. Past reviews look like more substantial dinner entrees have been an option so maybe we just came in between menu changes? The burrata with brussel sprouts starter was good if eating the cheese separately from the brussels but not my favorite combination together. The Park charcuterie board had generous portions of prosciutto and cheese, but no typical accompaniments of mustard or pickled vegetables so kind of felt lacking. Presentation was just grouping the items on a dinner plate with a couple large slices of bread that had grill marks but wasn't warm or toasty. I like this place for its decor and to grab a couple of champagne cocktails or glasses of bubbly but I don't think we'd dine in next time.

Yelp
Want to have a glass of wine, bubbly or dessert just on a whim and happen to be passing by Lafayette Square. This is a wonderful, quaint and sexy out of the way local bar I'd recommend trying. Another hurrah for David Bailey! One (I mean 2 in 1) of his 9 Bailey's restaurant's! Kudos for this young man who made St. Louis his home and has change the restaurant scene!! POP & The Chocolate Bar offer food Pop Has their menu from 5pm to 9pm! So, if you walk in on the main level, you walk into Pop! And upstairs is the Chocolate Bar! POP VS Chocolate Bar Champagne bar and elegant apps. Hidden is the patio! Exterior Pop has a lovely outdoor "warm weather month" patio! I actually visited during a rain storm when the weather was close to 100 degrees and it felt marvelous and secluded (think Secret Garden)!! Interior Picture a chic atmosphere with music from Sammy Davis, younger Aretha Franklin & the song track from Sleepless in Seattle. Chocolate Bar The upstairs (almost secret) bar has been revitalized after a flood 2-years ago. My first time at the restaurant, I believe I reviewed. Now it's a wide open upstairs dining area with quaint bar area and dining room. I did not look at the menu. Staff Friendly and ready to assist with menu selection. The chef will speak with you (if enough time). The manager/bartender will gladly walk you through the menu. This establishment is perfect for a couple or a night out for friends or family. I noticed tables full of tech guys, professional women just wanting to catch up, families and like myself singles just out on a rainy night! Future I'm told that soon the menu is changing to add a few more vegetarian options and less hearty fall type meals so lighter summer fare is included! My taste: I decided to order a couple small plates and beverages. (See photos). The zucchini carpaccio ($10)dish would have been much more phenomenal if filled with lemon vinaigrette, etc and it was tasty. I rolled it. The app would have been more delicious with more vinaigrette! The stuffed peppers ($12) were very tasteful and reminded me of a Fall dish! I wanted to start shopping because it truly reminded me of fall! A kiss and a hug from a loved one. I choose a couple drinks and was happy! House red wine and the Black Currant ($12). Perfect for the dishes I'd chosen. I'll definitely be back because the menu is being updated and I saw too many dishes I'd like to try and I'd like to do dessert as well! Join me! ///// I'd placed 20 photos in the review but the app is having issues still and only one photo is showing. I've deleted all the gorgeous photos from my phone already. It's happened with a few of my reviews now.

Yelp
Underwhelming Experience: Backstory - During COVID POP and Bailey's had a combined cocktail/food menu. I know POP recently opened and I called specifically to make a reservation for 10. In calling, I explained we are ONLY reason we want to come is if they can make the same drinks as Baileys, and have the combined cocktail menu. The women assured me they can do anything and I reiterated, chocolate martinis, espresso martini's and over and over it was a YES. Unfortunately when I arrived last night, they could not make ANY of the requested drinks. It was completely disappointing for the large group as I called to confirm and there was misinformation.

Yelp
The wine list and ambience makes this a charming destination for cocktails and light nibbles. But if you're looking for a bigger meal, this may not be the place for you.

Yelp
Great neighborhood bar with fantastic food and drinks. We had the shrimp appetizer which was amazing. The steak frites was also delicious and the service was very attentive

Yelp
We live down the street and I've been dying to go here, so we finally gave it a try after dinner for my birthday. It's so warm and welcoming, with plenty of bar seating. The service was quick as so nice, and there are SO MANY OPTIONS. I was worried they would just have champagne, but their menu had so many unique cocktail options, it was hard to make decisions! Great spot, I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Had my farewell party here and my friends loved it. We had an amazing time. This is the place you want to have a gathering: beyond outstanding service, great cocktails and bites. Perfect

Yelp
Bubbles and Burgers, what a delightful combination. Once restaurants got to open up with patio sitting, I was ready for bubbles. POP had a coupon in the EXP, so I had some redeeming to do before they all expired. I enjoyed a nice glass of Brut on their back patio, it was very relaxing and refreshing to finally be out and a bout. Normally I like a beer with a burger, but having the glass of bubbly was a nice twist. When you think burgers, POP may not pop into your mind, but it should. Their Smash Burger is damn good. It's two patties that is topped with roasted onions, liquid cheddar and pickles. The bun is a sesame challah and it comes with a side of fries. I've always been a fan of serving ketchup in a little cup and was glad to see them serving theirs that way. Honestly, I don't know if that is the regular way, or it it's the new pandemic way. Either way, it makes me happy. The customer service was attentive and it was obvious they were following CDC protocols to keep everyone safe. When: August 13, 2020 Why: EXP Coupon

Yelp
Excellent ambiance. Location on lafayettte square makes it an excellent stop for a long night out. Solid wine list.

Yelp
Came here tonight for the soft opening. Really cool vibe and ambiance, lots of upside. I have to be realistic based off of the fact this was their first night open, so standards were up but we're not met. Food was good, will need to have more of the menu when we return. Staff was... good. They're learning the menu obviously and will improve as the establishment stays open. Biggest take away is me looking forward to coming back to see how things have improved!

Yelp
I only stayed for one cocktail -- cucumber -- but it was light and refreshing. The space is small but cozy. Great for a date night drink or two.

Yelp
I had such a lovely evening at POP on Friday night. We had reservations for 7:00, but decided to head over early (at 5) for a drink. They were able to seat us at our table anyways. What we ordered: I had a spanish wine that I could not pronounce haha. It was delicious. The server was able to recommend it to me based off of what I like. To eat we shared the champagne board and pasta. Neither of us like pâté, so our server suggested we could switch it out for another cheese, which we graciously agreed with. The food was great, but what really made this a 5 star experience was the service. This would be a great date night place or a night with the girls!

Yelp
Absolutely love this place and the ambiance. The drinks were great (champagne influenced, of course), food choices limited but good and very interesting. Sounds like they are reopen with new chef and staff. Nice to have something different. We only ordered the ricotta and shishito pepper dish along with some drinks - it was all lovely. There is a cute bar in front, seating area in back, and actually really nice sized patio out back. Staff were friendly and attentive. I will be back! Great for a date or hanging with friends.

Yelp
Love the idea of a champagne bar! Seriously, where has this been all my life?!?! My girlfriends and I try to get together every month or so and when we do, we usually pop some bubbly. When I heard Pop was going to open, I immediately reached out to the ladies and we planned a happy hour. When we arrived we were greeted by the host/hostess. It was right around 5 pm on a Wednesday, so it was not too busy when we arrived. We had a choice of where to sit and chose a table in the back of the bar. We had a high top table that seated 4 perfectly. Jessie came over to greet us and was a doll. She informed us that we could sample before ordering, which was so helpful! We tried the Reginato Rose of Malbec and we all agreed it was just right. She poured us a few glasses and provided us a chiller. Jessie gave us time to look over the menu and let us all chat for a bit before returning to take our orders. We just wanted to have some snacks so we ordered the duck crostini, the poutine fries in bacon fat and the SAC board. I asked Jessie for help in ordering for me since I don't eat duck or bacon and she steered me towards the vegetarian board (SAC). There was a popover, crackers, 2 different kinds of cheeses and some pickled veggies. I was more than happy to share the pickled veggies with the others since I don't care for pickled anything. The food all came out quickly and really did look great. Of course, my friends knew I needed to take photos before they could dig in (haha) so they helped me get just the right shot of each item. We all enjoyed the snacks and they all went great with the bubbly. Whenever our glasses were getting low, Jessie would refill them with bubbly and of course they had some glasses of water on the table as well. She and the other staff members were keeping us hydrated! Jessie shared with us the proper way to open a bottle without it exploding-who knew?!?! She even shared with us the cost of bottles based on their cost per glass. Basically, we learned a little math! lol She was really informative. We opted to order another bottle, but asked if we could sample 2 different kinds of prosecco. After a quick sample we all agreed on the Ca' Furlan Prosecco Cuvee Beatrice (I copied that name from the menu). When we were ready to leave she was kind enough to split the check 4 ways and we each were able to fill out a post card which they will send for us to a friend. What a fun idea! The redesign of the restaurant/bar looks great and is very eclectic. The chocolate bar is upstairs and Jessie did let us know that if we were looking for some dessert or a chocolate martini we could head upstairs; she even provided their menu. We opted for 1 more glass of champagne before heading out though. How could we resist? I'll be back soon for a date night with my hubby. But I also can't wait to go back with the girls! Such a fun concept. Thanks to everyone at Pop for such a fun night out!

Yelp
Very interesting experience! I know this place just reopened after COVID. The name really explains their drink menu!! They have a large selection of sparkling wines (no non sparkling wines available), and beer options. I loved the ambience they have created, it is very fun and colorful! The wait staff was kind and attentive as well. We only got one drink and shared two appetizers - the friend clams and the chicken pate. Both were good! I'll be honest, I was expecting more of a wine and charcuterie places, and was a little disappointed that they didn't have any non-sparkling wine. But we still enjoyed our drink and apps! I would love to see them expand their menu and maybe see two non-sparkling wines. Overall a very fun place for a flight drinks and a bite to eat!! Love the vibes!!

SIara M.

Yelp
The drinks and the ambience were very nice. The back where we were sat was freezing cold! It made it uncomfortable. Besides that drinks were good and the service was good. The food was ok, I enjoyed the stuffed peppers.

Shelby D.

Yelp
Super excited that we finally visited POP! We only had appetizers (potted crab, marcona almonds, and a charcuterie board), but the food was incredible! Would completely recommend three orders of the potted crab! :) The champagne cocktails were unbelievable- the cucumber was perfect as was the black current. The customer service though left something to be desired! Really weird vibes from the hostess when we walked in, and our server wasn't the friendliest. Definitely disappointed by the size of the champagne pours. Overall though, I would recommend!

Yelp
We were originally planning to go to Bailey's Chocolate Bar, but with a long wait, we decided to head over next door to POP. I am a huge champagne lover, so I enjoyed this place a lot! POP is such a peaceful, relaxing hang out spot. You can indulge in some tapas - style plates, or just to simply have a glass of good bubbly. Their menu is very extensive, and has a price range for just about anybody. I tried a German-style, and loved it! Our waitress was very friendly and told us everything we needed to know about the place. They also have a very pretty patio out back. I would love to come back out here for a night out. Such a fun spot!

Yelp
We popped in for drinks to see what the hype is all about! Love the idea of a champagne bar in Lafayette Square and the Andy Warhol print wallpaper compliments the pop vibe very nicely. We got the Sake Setto, you get two small portions one hot one cold both delicious but didn't seem worth the $11 Pop's Martini sounded awesome on paper, but it was overpowered by the champagne they top it with. We were hoping to taste more of the dill. The mimosa is something to talk about. They pour prosecco on top of a carrot pear and ginger shrub. It was really unique and I haven't had a drink like it in Saint Louis. They seemed like they needed more staff. The bartender was playing host at certain points. We sat at the bar and they seemed really backed up with glasses and stuff. I can't wait to come back for food once they get some kinks worked out. They have a substantial food menu. All of this is to be expect early on and I'm excited for the kinks to get worked out and for this new spot to shine!

Yelp
The idea of a bubbly bar in Lafayette Square immediately caught my attention, so when I saw it was open I made plans to go that first weekend. I made a reservation for our group of three for Saturday night and we were seated promptly. After that, any dreams of this becoming my new favorite spot...popped. I'll start with what went right. 1) They have a great and lengthy drink menu with a wide range of price points. You can spend in the mid-30s for a bottle all the way up to $100-200. You can also get craft cocktails, beer, and bubbly (but not grape based) drinks. 2) the staff were friendly and accommodating (when actually present). The owner (I believe it was the owner, maybe the manager) was being super helpful and trying to check in on tables and make sure everything was fine. However, our service was pretty slow at the table and we ended up having a new server seem to take over mid-way through our night after the girl we started with disappeared. I honestly think the poor service was just a result of opening weekend kinks and the service will improve, it would have still been a four star experience if it wasn't for the food. We wanted to try several things since it was a new place and we were excited. We had the Gougere, Fruits De Met Board, Bacon Fat Fries, Caviar, Eggplant dish, Duck Confit, and Duck Breast. I tried everything and while the egg plant was probably the best dish overall, it still wasn't a stand out amongst STL cuisine. The duck confit was a HUGE disappointment. It was served with what was labeled "duck stock risotto" but it was honestly the most bland, overcooked, mushy "risotto" I have ever had. It was truly inedible and I don't believe I have ever described a dish that way. The duck meat itself, on both dishes, was good. The caviar was a super small portion not very good for sharing and, although the caviar itself wasn't bad, it was served on with "vinegar chips" which just tasted like very salty and greasy potato chips. The chips completely overpowered the taste of the caviar which was very disappointing. I had high hopes for the bacon fat fries, but when they came out they were room temperature and not very crisp at all. The homemade ketchup they came with was good though--very sweet but we liked it. Very clean, nice ambiance, a nice drink menu selection. I would come back for a drink with a friend. However, not a spot on my list for dinners in the future. I'm hoping as they move forward they are able to work out a lot of these problems which seemed to be a result of understaffing and inexperience with menu and flow.

Yelp
Popped over for a drink before going to dinner. We got the Pear, which was very sweet and the Cucumber, which was super refreshing. Such a great atmosphere! And the service was great! Shout out to Justin for being so accommodating. They were very busy, but he was attentive!

Yelp
Came here during my birthday last year and this place was great! I loved all of the charcuterie board options they had - so hard to choose since they all looked amazing! The menu was definitely smaller when I went which was a bummer but totally understandable. The cocktails were also delicious and hit the spot! I would love to come back again when they bring more items back on the menu! The only frustrating thing here was that they mislabeled the requested seating arrangement as inside when we wanted to be outside... as a result were we crammed into a tight area right next to the building door. Not the best setting arrangement but still some great food and drink!

Yelp
So fun! Cute idea- popcorn, champagne, and pop-inspired art on the walls/menu design. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Our waiter was full of enthusiasm, and was very attentive and accommodating. Our meal started out with complimentary popcorn, and recommendations about the champagne options (they have other drinks too). Our waiter was very knowledgeable, and helped us pick the best choice for our tastes, providing tastings prior to us choosing. I did wish that they had flights so we could taste a variety, and the waiter said they might be adding that in the future. After selecting drinks, we ordered food. That was where I felt like there was a little bit of opportunity for improvement. More just on a personal note, I felt like there were not too many options, and that the focus was really more on the drinks and atmosphere. I also thought it was a bit pricey, but not too high, just a bit high for some of the main entrees. No doubt that the quality of the food was high though. Loved the cute postcard that they printed with each check. Nice touch! Will be back!

Yelp
I would give this visit a 3.5 out of 5 stars. I had been wanting to try POP for some time and we finally went this past weekend. POP and Bailey's Chocolate Bar now share this space, which is very quaint and pretty. However, we were in the covered addition/patio on the side and it was quite cold and not quite as cute as the rest of the place. The picnic board was alright, but nothing to write home about. The same should be said about the Smash and POP burgers. The Smash burger was a bit over cooked for my liking and the fries were good, but nothing special. The blondie was also disappointing. I expected a par baked/gooey/soft blondie, but it was very cooked and crunchy. The best drink of the night was the tiramisu martini, by far. It was perfect- super cold, creamy, and had amazing flavor! The champagne cocktails were just alright. I was very surprised not to se a Kir Royale on the menu since it is a classic champagne cocktail. Those are noticeably missing on the menu, replaced by more modern and Bailey's specific cocktails. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, but the food and most drinks didn't impress us. I'm still a fan of the Bailey's restaurants, but this one just didn't do it for me like their others.

Yelp
Had the PERFECTLY seared scallops either the ricotta appetizer. Perfect. Erin the manager recommended the perfect bubbly for me a Sav drinker typically and Jenna was amazing. I've been two days in row. Highly recommend !!

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant that with such sweet and fun décor! We sat at the back, behind the bar and it was very cozy as it wasn't too crowded. The waitress we had was really sweet and helpful and nice. I started off with a glass of sparkling red wine (had never tried sparkling red before!) and it was great - Quercioli Reggiano. I ordered the duck breast and my s/o ordered the tagliatelle and both were delicious. Prices were reasonable. I just am enamoured by the décor! Would come back to this restaurant.

Yelp
Alexis was fantastic!! We enjoyed multiple bottles of delicious sparkling wine. We recommend the grilled shrimp and potted crab. We raved about the tomato tartar. Similar to a bruschetta!

Yelp
Love love love this place It's cute, patio secluded and quant The small bites list is quite impressive . Extensive drink list with of course lots of bubbly. M Services was on point . Gonna be here a lot this summer

Yelp
Really enjoyed the ambiance of POP. I'm a huge fan of most of Dave's restaurants because of how well they take care of dietary restrictions. POP was the same, I have celiac disease and Dave himself came out to talk me through the gluten free options. They have a dedicated fryer for chips and fries which is awesome. Lots of options to drink but if you're going to drink wine a bottle seemed like the best option. You can get one in the $30 range where glasses of wine range from $8-$19 . Service was a bit slow, but I'm sure they are still getting into the swing of things so I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I generally love Dave Bailey's restaurants (Small Batch being my personal favorite) so I went in to Pop with high expectations. Sadly they were not met. We had a group of 5 for a going away dinner on a Thursday evening and the place was packed. Unfortunately this also made it quite loud and until some of the tables emptied we were basically yelling at each other. The decor is a strange mix of holdovers from the previous Bailey endeavor (L'Acadiane) and "pop" art that includes a Warhol inspired wall. Having adored the L'Acadiane decor I was sad to see this new look, which doesn't seem to live up to the usual interior of a Bailey restaurant. It's pretty obvious they did this quickly. Anyway, personal feelings on the decor aside... the drink menu is massive and includes a wide variety of sparkling choices. Apparently you can get a non-bubbly glass of wine, but this isn't made obvious. The food menu is less impressive and honestly a bit confusing. They offer a strange variety of small plates, boards and entrees that don't seem to tie together in the slightest. The entrees didn't appeal to me, so I decided to go the small plate route and ordered the little gem salad and poutine. For $7 the salad was tiny and the dressing odd, almost sour. The poutine portion was also small and the fries were bland. My friend had the scallops which also apparently left something to be desired. I think Pop has a solid concept (judging from the packed tables of women it could easily become the place to have girls night) but the food is over priced and the menu needs work. The staff was as attentive as they could be, but you could tell they were all swamped as we had multiple people helping with our table all evening. I'll be curious to see how Pop fares given the short lifespan of its predecessor. In the meantime I think I'll stick with Small Batch.

Yelp
Lovely little intimate place in the Lafayette Square district. Surrounded by the park, shops and other eateries it is nestled next to Bailey's Chocolate bar. It is a great place for a date or conversation with friends. The champagne list is through, honoring both dry and sweet lovers alike, and the small plates are perfect for paring. We have enjoyed great entrees and charcuterie boards, as well. I only wish there were a few more items on the food menu! I also love that Bailey's restaurants always add fresh flowers to their table scapes, it's a small but noted gesture. The staff is attentive and well-mannered. Would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic setting or just anyone who appreciates a quality glass of bubbly!

Yelp
We came here on the second day since it's opening. The place is definitely considered more toward high end. They have a very interesting sparking wine/sake/liquor selection, but it's definitely pricy. The food options are pretty good but again, its pricy for the selection. I think this is a great place to hangout and grab a drink and share a light meal together.

Yelp
The food is first class and the champagne selection is the best in the city. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Don't waste your time at this place. It has such potential but the management of the place is awful. I tried to book an event here and it was total chaos and ended being a total waste of my time.

Yelp
Pop you think champagne and that's it. No, every intricately diced facet of their cocktail, dessert, appetizers, and of course bubbles menus has been meticulously strategically planned paired and researched. I'm not big on champagne but Becky really brought the master craft cocktails with refinement knowledge and exuberance. Break out of your ordinary with a bang at Pop!!

Yelp
Of course it's another hit for the Baileys brand! What I love most about this place is the knowledge and passion of the staff! Our server Cory was super attentive and gave amazing recommendations! Everything was delicious! Perfect Friday night spot!

Yelp
Champagne bar? Say no more. This spot is so adorable and the staff are super helpful when it is time to choose from all the amazing bubbly options and cocktails they offer. We came on a Sunday evening for a little night cap. We started upstairs at Baileys (great name) but the cocktails are delicious, but way too sweet for me (I couldn't even finish one). I'm always on the hunt for good bubbly and since my Sunday Funday has started with a mimosa, a champagne cocktail seemed like the way to end it! We sat at the bar and were able to try a few different things before deciding on cocktails. We had great chat with the bartender, and overall a great experience for a really reasonable price for what you get. Definitely recommend for a fun night out with girls or a cute romantic date!

Yelp
Really kinda just... Okay? Came in on a Friday for appetizers, cocktails and dessert. The Midnight Mule cocktail was pretty good, if sweet. The Airmail was cloying and tasted artificial and medicinal, exactly like gummy cola bottle candies. Neither was bubbly; both were syrupy. The picnic charcuterie board tasted good (hard to mess up pre-purchased cheese) but was presented strangely. First, it had big wedges of hard cheese, but no knife. I asked for one and the server seemed confused, but cheerfully brought a steak knife out. I'm confused that this seemed like an abnormal request and wonder if I was supposed to break up the cheese wedges with my hands. And unfortunately, the local prosciutto on the board went to waste: It was cut in half-inch-thick slabs about the side of a credit card. Even the steak knife couldn't handle it, so it was too big and chewy to actually eat. That said, the stuffed focaccia appetizer was good and the tomato jam it came with was delicious. For dessert we got the peach cake with cinnamon ice cream, which was good but didn't blow me away. I appreciated that tables were an ample distance apart, and I saw front of house staff ask multiple guests to adjust their masks to cover their noses. They clearly take safety seriously.

Yelp
I really wanted to like Pop, but I thought it was just okay. We came in for dinner, but their choices were what I felt overpriced and underwhelming. We ended up getting the hummus and a couple cocktails which was good. I really liked the hummus and the amount of veggies and sides that you get with it. The cocktails are made with champagne and honestly, that's all I could taste. I think this would be such a fun place to go with a small group of girlfriends, but it wasn't what I expected or what we really wanted that night.

Yelp
A champagne bar?! My wife & decided to visit on Thursday and we were pleased with our visit... We loved the intimate atmosphere and the attention to detail with the food. The waitress we had was very friendly, and took the time to answer out questions about the menu items and champagne. We're already planning our next visit with our friends. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I always enjoy stopping by Pop when I am craving a glass of bubbles or when I'm able to meet up with friends for after work drinks. The service, drinks and small plates have always been top notch. So when a friend suggested it for her birthday dinner, I was fully on board and even offered to make the reservation. I wanted to do a few things to make night special and Pop was very accommodating. This was my first time ordering dinner and the food was fantastic and the service was even better than I remembered. I highly recommend having your next celebration at Pop!
