Thank you, Popa Mountain Resort, for making our Valentine’s Day so special! The amazingly friendly staff welcomed us with a beautiful surprise—flower arrangements on the bed with stunning displays. We ordered food along with an additional house salad, and the chef personally came out from the kitchen to check on us, which was a wonderful touch. The best surprise of all was the lovely roses accompanied by three mini chocolate cakes, thoughtful kept in the fridge, making our evening even more memorable. Truly exceptional hospitality!

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days at Resort, arriving on Valentine’s Day. From the moment we arrived, the wonderfully friendly staff welcomed us with a beautiful surprise—flower arrangements on the bed with stunning displays. For dinner, we decided to dine in the hotel, and we were delighted with the food. We ordered a Beef Burger, Burmese rice, and beef curry. The taste was amazing, and the best part was the additional house salad, which came for free. The chef came out from the kitchen to check every table, which was a thoughtful touch. The best surprise of all came later when we found lovely roses and three mini chocolate cakes kept in the fridge. On the second day, we dined at the hotel again, ordering the Chef’s secret pizza and a salad. Around 8 pm, the chef personally came out from the kitchen to greet each table. He even brought us a strawberry cream cake layer, free of charge. We had a brief chat with him, and it was clear that his team is superb. We also had an excellent breakfast. We chose the Taung Clat view room, which was big and spacious. The only downside was that the floors were a bit squeaky. Bathroom connection to the outdoor shower is not functioning but bath room itself is great and clean. The swimming pool was quite cold, but we still enjoyed swimming as the experience was refreshing. There were a few leaves in the water, but overall, it was clean. The location is easily accessible, though the road has some potholes and rough. It's situated a bit higher up, so you'll need a car or motorbike to get around, as it's not within walking distance to the town. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, thoughtful service, and a memorable stay!

Such a great hotel with amazing, helpful staff. The hotel compound was peaceful and quiet. The restaurant area had a pleasant foggy ambiance. The breakfast was great. We rented a car from the hotel for sightseeing, and the driver was very patient. One of my friends was bitten by a monkey at Popa Mountain, and the staff offered us a free ride to the hospital to get an injection as soon as they found out. It was at night, near curfew, but they still helped us. Thanks to the whole team. We will definitely stay there again.

Our stay at this place was exceptional. We were treated with great care and attention. The hotel's administrator and staff assisted with any request, from organizing trips to preparing an individual menu based on provided recipes. As Popa Mountain Resort is located in a forested area, we were initially concerned about internet access, crucial for our work. However, they set up Wi-Fi for us, and it worked perfectly. Truly a very quiet and beautiful place.

5 stars for the already well-known location, the serenity and luxurious settings. A perfect choice for holiday retreat. We took the Dam view room and the 360 degree view was spectacular. It was hazy and cold until 10-11am in the morning. The room rates were however high and to me its popularity is a bit overrated. 😅 Staffs were attentive and helpful, the interior was great but internet connection was super disrupted. They came to the room at a very late hour to fix that immediately but it didn't work. 4 stars for food. Breakfast offered was a variety of Burmese and western food. The best a nyar style Monhinga I have ever had with the breathtaking view. 👌 Restaurant food was pricey for nothing and not the best. And yes, the swimming pool view was the most stunning.

We spent one night on May 13th at Popa Mountain Resort. The trip was a business trip, but we felt enjoyed and satisfied. Upon entering the resort, We received a warm welcome from GM Mr. Kyaw and the staffs. On the way from the reception to the room, the views I had seen, were #Wow for me. Resort created with beautiful nature. The food that they serve is also lovely. Especially their Burmese food is very delicious. It was a peaceful trip during the cold weather. Thank you to the GM and all the staff. Will come back again.

The services are great and staff are friendly. The place is magnificent and peaceful. The room is clean and tidy. So far they didn’t disappoint me with the structure but the food was not consistent. We had a free dinner and it was dry and tasteless. I only had a good breakfast when there were many people there. I guess if there was less visitors or customers in the hotel, the food tastes awful. However, I love the peace and quite place and I recommend the forest view area. Popa mountain view rooms are near to the pool and reception area so sometimes it was noisy.
