Popino Restaurante

What a MAGNIFICENT experience! I came across Popino as I was looking for a different place and I was intrigued. When I saw the 4.8 star rating, I became very excited. Everything about dining at Popino was FLAWLESS! The decor is dark and elegant, the wine list is varied and extensive. The service is impeccable. And the food is out of this world! I had the goat cheese pasta and my friend had the fish of the day. The first course, an arugula and lettuce salad, was huge, so we split it. We also split the delicious banana dessert. I cannot recommend Popino highly enough. It is simply the best! And I shall definitely be returning!

4.2 | friendly service, good food, nice ambiance. Some of the dishes were terrific such as the tartare with other beings a little less notable. Same goes for the cocktails, some are very well crafted and balanced while others are a bit of a miss. Overall would recommend a stop here, especially if you are staying at an Airbnb in the building.

The truth is that I was disappointed, I love trying nice places, I thought it was a place with many expectations because I read good comments, but for me the attention was not good, on my plate the banana tasted burnt and I told the girl and she did nothing, I told the waiter to guide me for a sweet cocktail and the cocktail I chose was not sweet at all. The octopus was delicious. And expensive for that service!

Very accommodating for a vegetarian diet and a shellfish allergy. The chef personally came out and customized a pasta. Very good service by our server, Gabriel. The goat cheese pasta with truffle sauce and the chocolate cannoli was delicious. We really enjoyed the glazed carrots and grilled baby lettuce salad. The vibes are amazing!

It was a great idea to visit Popino. It is a different type of restaurant, the flavors are no the traditional ones. They are unique. If you are on vacaciones or live here the visit is going to be very much worth it!!!!

The food was amazing. Two thumbs up! The experience can be kind of expensive, depending on what your order. There are plates between $20 to $65. I would recommend to the restaurant: 1) Add the cortesy yuca bread to the menu, it is amazing. 2) Have a couple of chairs for small kids (1 to 4 years old)

Incredible. I will put this as one of my top two favorite meals in Panama. The service couldn’t have been kinder or more congenial. The atmosphere was fantastic. It was pricey but well worth it. I had the fish crudo to start and the Denver cut steak. Am including pictures of them both because they were not only delicious but exquisitely prepared.

Exquisite atmosphere, excellent service, great food! Highly recommend for a date night or special occasion. Make reservations, as it gets busier after 7. Valet parking is always a plus! The sticky rice app was delicious, as well as the butternut squash ravioli & brisket.
