A lovely beach that welcomes dogs over the winter months. A car park and cafe are close by. There is a RNLI shop by the beach as well. I would expect during the summer it would be tricky to park on a sunny day. It was getting busy by mid morning on a sunny February day when we visited. There are toilets on site too. You will need cash for the parking machine as the pay machine didn't accept card only pay by phone but signal was poor. Only a donation suggestion in the winter months for parking though which is a good idea, making it more accessible for people.

Amazing dog friendly beach. Can be busy in seasons. Lovely sandy beach.

Beautiful beach. Plenty of room. One side allows dogs, the other is dog free. Rock pools to look in. Water is quite shallow, so not so good for swimming. Cafe has delicious cinnamon rolls!

One the best beaches we have been to for a long time. Busy but plenty of room. Not commercialised . Great for dogs.

Wow this beach is a little gem and has a lovely RNLI shop too. We stopped here for a couple of hours after leaving Cardigan. Our dog loved the walk along the beach and so did we! I would recommend you visit if you are in the area.

We visited Poppit Sands Beach on a wonderfully sunny Sunday morning in mid-August. Car park was very busy but we struck it lucky and found a tight space between two poorly parked cars! Parking was £3 for 2 hours; ample time for us to walk the dogs along the beach and get back to the car before it was far too hot. Turn right on to the beach for the dogs and left for everybody else. Our dogs loved the beach walk; we loved it as well. Beach was nice and clean - no rouge dog poos littering the sand. Lots of families and dogs. Highly recommended for all.

Absolutely fantastic beach. Huge area for the dogs but a separate area for those who don't want to be around them, everyone's happy. Great facilities and easy parking. You can use the justpark app to pay, signals on the beach

One of the cleanest beaches I’ve been to in several years. Worth noting is the car park pay machines use cash or the pay by phone app. Unfortunately there is little O2 Mobile signal and no nearby wifi so if using O2 you’ll need to make sure you have change. There is a couple of free spaces just off the main road but this area was full.
