Poppy's Burgers and Fries

Absolutely the best burger I have ever eaten in my life, and I never want to forget the restaurant due to my instant love of the burger at first bite. The dining room is small but beautifully rustic, but the outdoor seating is nice and has a good view of the town life in Beacon. Nice little restaurant with amazing burgers.

This place nickles and dimes you. The burgers are tasty but not worth the price and everything is extra, onions, tomato, lettuce, BBQ sauce. They even charged for refills of ice tea, that was not very tasty. They ran out of pickles and still charged same for burger, I did mention this and they took off the $1.50 for the BBQ sauce. Yes, Beacon is the new trendy place but their pricing and lackluster attitude do not justify their prices. 5 guys is half the price for two and has add ons to burgers at no extra charge and free refills. Buyer beware!!!!

Burgers are amazing. Way overpriced for the area. I know beacon is trendy, but almost $30 for a burger, fries and beer is insane. That being said, the food is very good if you can afford it. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

The waitress was pleasent. The food is over priced, would like BBQ sauce? $1. Want sauteed onion for your burger? $2 they cut corners big timethey cut corners big time why for beginner burgers on store bought potato buns, the kind that comes plastic bags. Also the food is not served on plates but in foil, no utensils or napkins or straws. I do not recommend it and will not be going back there. a vegetarian bean burger, 2 cheeseburgers one order of fries ,1 icetea, a seltzer and a orange soda was over $50. I guess it was the barbecue sauce in the fried onions. once again I do not recommend it

Burger was good but small and way overpriced (higher than in NYC). Service was slow and inefficient. I waited >20 minutes at the counter for my to-go order, and only when I asked, the waitress grabbed a to-go pack from a few there: it had been ready for a while!

Poppy's burgers are by far the best I've had outside of city. They use quality ingredients and are perfectly prepared each and every time. My only complaint is store hours are very infrequent.

Overpriced and lackluster. I tried a veggie burger with arugula & fries and it was $15. Coming from NYC I am used to these prices but the burger did not live up to it in taste or presentation. For two burgers with fries and two beers the total was $48 & I found that to be absurd for any establishment that does not live up to the standards it sets.

Great burger BUT. Just drove 45 min to get here and again they are closed even though the web site says they are open. This is the third and last time I will waste my time trying to support this business regardless of how good the food is. Make sure you call before you waste your time!!!. Ridiculous.. Sorry Poppy's but you should keep the people who support your food abreast of your operational hours as you appear to have no set schedule. Stop the false advertising of your hours.
