Porkfat Thai Restaurant Sydney

Personally I enjoyed the taste and food quality. A good place to enjoy Thai food. The slight downsides are the portion and the overall service experience. The food is yummy so I wish the portion can be slightly more generous, considering the price paid. Service is friendly and attentive but it could be a 5 star experience if the prawn curry we ordered was given to us first, not to the table beside us who came later than us. I guessed they had forgotten our order because the order came later after we reminded them. Also, it is always nice to check in with diners how is the experience so far when the bill is settled, nothing was asked.

This restaurant has become one of my favourite restaurants! We ordered the pork jowl, crispy pork belly, red beef curry, and the June special—crab fried rice. Every dish was packed with flavor and had a really nice kick of spice. The pork jowl was the standout for me—so tender and full of flavor. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Love this restaurant! Been coming here ever since it opened and for my birthday every year. Jack and Tanya are so friendly, the food is amazing and the portions are always so generous. Sydney’s food scene would not be the same without this groundbreaking and authentic restaurant.

2nd visit here for my mum’s 60th birthday before a show. The food was amazing! Full of incredible flavours. It is a bit pricier than your local Thai but well worth it. Service is fast and attentive. They are all so sweet and helpful. We enjoyed the chicken wings, laab, papaya salad and green curry. Highly recommend.

Great food with banger, zippy tastes. We particularly loved the tamarind wings and wish we could've eaten more. We enjoyed everything on the set menu. Service was very attentive. The set menu (for two) satiated the appetite, but some may find it a little on the small side - and therefore a smidgen pricey for $89 per person. We'd definitely come back to try the other items in the menu, or have the set menu again + a standalone dish. Loved it!

Nice, homely Thai restaurant that serves very flavorful dishes. Had the set menu as I dined with a larger group. Most of the dishes were a hit, and the service was attentive & efficient. The Tamarind Wings were a standout dish. Definitely recommend the place for a nice Thai dining experience.

Absolutely exquisite experience dining at Porkfat. The ambience inside is very cosy and inviting. The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly. My favourite dish was the beef brisket curry. Beef was tender and just fell apart, jam packed with flavour. The coconut ice cream was a refreshing way to finish. Thank you - will be returning! :)

Great Thai food that is authentic and thankfully different from your standard local. Friendly, helpful staff. Would definately go back to try a few other dishes on the menu.
