Port Albert Motel

What a great place to stay, perfect location, great accomodation at an amazing price. Everything you could want is provided and the beds are amazingly comfortable. As motels go this is definitely up there and the location makes it perfect. Unbeatable at this price

Wow. What a great location... just walk across to the marina. Bed so comfy and the unit had everything you need. BBQ there and so quiet. We'll be back and we'll bring the boat. Thanks Denise

Review is not about the accommodation but the honesty and integrity displayed by Denise. Denise has been transparent about some new work that was going to happen on the day we booked. It wouldn’t affect the room yet depending on how much we wanted to rest in the room, there may be some noise. Denise called to provide that information and allowed us to have a choice to make an informed decision whether we wanted to go ahead. In this age and time, I haven’t experienced such honesty and respect. Thank you Denise. We are very grateful.

Port Albert in April is very quiet and exceptionally beautiful without the summer tourists, and the Port Albert Motel is on the site of the historic hotel, opposite the jetty. I can recommend a detour to this charming historic port, for the beauty of the lake and the wildlife. The motel rooms are simple, but perfectly good for a stay of a day or two. There are no staff at the motel, but you can reach Denise by phone, and she will open the door for you. The room was spotless, with everything you might want - tea, coffee, wine and other drinks from the mini-bar. The beds were large and comfortable, designed for a family. Only the shower room was a bit old, but perfectly functional. The Fish and Chips restaurant on the jetty is not to be missed, though it is only open until ~3pm during the off-season. We would certainly stay again when we have the opportunity.

A quick trip to Port Albert for dinner so booked at the motel. Rooms were very clean with tea, coffee and basic breakfast supplies.||Port Albert is very small so it is walking distance to everything. Location is just across the road from the waterfront.||Plenty of off-steet parking and a BBQ area.

Great service. Very easy to book. On the internet it said it was fully booked but we called up and we were able to book in very easily. Right on the water and a quiet beautiful fishing town town. Had fish and chips at the “fish and chip co” at the end of the wharf. Best seafood I have had in a long time and we have been having fish and chips a lot lately on our holiday. If you want a peaceful getaway but Is a good safe place to fish off the jetty and let the kids run this is definitely the place!

We had a quick two night stay because we were traveling through both Wilson's Prom and the Tarra-Bulga NP, and Port Albert is tucked away right between them. Petrina was super friendly and helped accommodate a change for us (as well as send something I left behind!), and the room was very comfy and super well-insulated (it was a cool, windy night but you couldn't tell from the inside)

Extremely happy & relaxed after our stay at Port Albert Motel. Absolutely stunning location & incredible views, the room accommodation was clean, comfortable & well appointed, extremely helpful Manager - nothing was too much trouble! Motel appears to be upgraded since our previous stay incl. fresh paint, Air Conditioning & Heating units, new lighting and carpets also. Great Wifi & Mini Bar too! Easy stroll across the road to fish off the Jetty. Took our boat down and plenty of parking at the Motel for the boat, plenty of fish caught on the water also! We loved our stay & will be returning again soon.
