We really enjoyed it here. We came on a Sunday night about 5pm. The price was reasonable with decent portions. The staff were great and it didnt take long to receive our meals. Recommended for sure! The food tasted great! Will definitely come back again.
Only slight downside were the bathrooms as you had to walk outside then back in to get to them. But not to much of a issue.

This restaurant has a great of view of the river. It's also a good spot to people watch and contemplate the universe. I have been here for breakfast a few times and I have walked away satisfied each time. The staff are very professional and prompt in taking orders. The menu is standard modern Australian. Nothing special. The meals are large and the added extras are even BIGGER. The extras are very expensive, but they are also massive. The extras are served on seperate plates because they are so large. Prices here are on the higher side, but not unusually so. Worth stopping in. Coffee is good too!

I'm visiting Port Bar every time when I want to be full. Very friendly atmosphere, quite well variety of dishes and almost all people are locals.
All dishes are huge size and so tasty. I recommended this place.

A below average breakfast experience, ordered the salmon breakfast pizza it was very watery and also order the mushroom omelette it was quite bland. Although a nice view and friendly service.

Decent place to hang out at by the river. Not much of a view and ambience is by no means fancy, but it has all the essentials required on a lazy sunny Sunday arvo. Staff aren't the most attentive but they're friendly. Food is pretty good. I normally enjoy some wedges and a drink or two here as a relaxing break from the busyness of Church St.

Had a great time. The staff were very attentive and the food fantastic. Will go again I hope. Had bruschetta, antipasto plate and volcano pizza. We didn't leave anything.

Sitting alongside the river, this restaurant is a nice change of pace from the hustle, bustle, and traffic noise of the other places along Church Street. The food is good and the service was even better. Port Bar has more wait staff and they are much more attentive than the staff of other restaurants I've tried. It was nice to actually get a refill on my water. The Tiramisu was delicious!

Good food and ambiance. Attentive service. It's always nice to dine beside the water even if it's just Parra river. We came as a group and ordered 3 dishes for 4 people and I think it was value for money.

Yelp
Tucked behind the Riverside Cafe is this great bar, with fantastic beer and wine selection. It overlooks the river so it is perfect for after work drinks or for celebratory drinks of any kind. There are lots of places to go to drink in Parramatta but none actually on Parramatta Wharf, so that's the catch.
Prices are kind of expensive (refer to nice outlook) but I think it's worth it for the quality combined with surroundings. There is table service and they serve finger food which goes with the drinking, or if you are a little bit hungrier try the pizzas. This place is somewhere you will want to come back to.

Yelp
Would not recommend.
Was overpriced for the quality of the meals- they were quite large but pretty bland and poor quality ingredients.
The place had a weird smell like it needed a good scrub.
Also has large tv screens, which lowered the tone of the place.
Overall a shame considering the location.
The service was quite good though, and perhaps is better for lunch on a nice sunny day.

Yelp
Great service. Relaxing atmosphere by the water.
Sat outside in a group of 8.
Food was good. Drinks were good also. Cocktails $18, descent white wine (Sav) $28+
The ferry pier was pretty busy but had no impact on experience.

Yelp
I had dinner here last night and might I say they are good with portions here and you won't walk away feeling hungry.
I had the pollo fungi which was $25 and it was with mash and veggies just what I needed on a cold winter day. I didn't mind the creamy sauce and mushrooms on my chicken breast.
It wasn't five star but it satisfied my hunger came out quickly and was cooked well so I can't complain.
The chocolate dessert was a nice finisher... Best of all it's complimentary.

Yelp
We ate here for dinner a couple of months ago and while the food was nice (nothing outstanding) the restaurant could do with some work. We were seated inside on the left side of the bar as were most of the diners. There is a partial wall which separates the restaurant from the bathrooms and the stench of air freshener was overwhelming. So bad I could still smell it in my clothes when we got home. What I couldn't understand was why everyone was seated near that wall when the other side of the restaurant seemed to be occupied by friends of the owners (and only about 5 people).
The tables and chairs looked warn, the flashing icicle lights behind the bar were garish, it was not at all what I expected.

Yelp
Worst hot chocolate ever
Boiling water, no taste
The chips were hot and fresh.
Now to find somewhere to throw this dishwater away

Yelp
A good stop for a drink before catching the ferry in to the city. Friendly staff and although we didn't eat, the food around us looked plentiful and appetising.

Yelp
I went to this restaurant to celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday. The food was terrible, I ordered the chicken schnitzel and it was not in anyway good especially for the price I paid. I don't expect to get frozen chicken when I spend 25 dollars not to mention that my uncle ordered the seafood risotto without fish as he is allergic to fish but can eat shellfish. After they brought it back without fish this time it was not even edible as the prawns were green you may as well have pulled them out of the ocean and thrown them on a plate. Had my uncle accepted the first meal he may have ended up in hospital. The rest of the meals were below the standard of the nearest dive bar as everyone who ordered the chicken schnitzel either had it under cooked or over cooked with the soggiest crappiest chips ever. My 90 year old grand mother may as well have gone hungry as the food was not edible. Despite sucking it up and forcing my way through my 25 dollar price of rubber and pool noodles for chips I still found myself running to the bathroom for the rest of the entire day. Myself and my family will never return here. I would also like to add that these orders were pre ordered so they had plenty of time to prepare and get everything right, not to mention my uncle's meal was highlighted.
