Port Douglas Motel

We had such a great stay at the Port Douglas Motel! Right from booking, Jenny was very helpful and accommodating to our changes. The location is perfect, and the rooms were very comfortable, clean and had a really cool tropical theme! The room had everything you need, including chilled water and an awesome hairdryer! Bed super comfy and our kids loved the pool area. Can't wait to return in the future. Thanks for a great time.

Amazing location. Lovely rooms with everything you need. Didn't use the pool but it looked great as a nice chill out area. Used the shared kitchen which had everything you needed in the pantry, was also a nice change to cook outside!

So glad we stayed here. It's the kind of place you want to keep to yourself by as we live in the UK we think it's only right to give the review it deserves! So many little touches... decorative and practical...which delight and make your stay memorable. Lovely people too. Location is perfect but also quiet which is great in the centre of town. Pool and outdoor kitchen are great facilities and clean and well kept. Even a gas stove top! Really hope we can return sometime. Thanks team for making so much effort!

Simple, clean motel with a great location. Everything you need like cafes , shops, and stores is just a short walk away. Very budget-friendly and convenient for a quick stay.

Extremely helpful and informative with any questions I had.|My first big journey from California to Australia and Jenny made me feel right at home. The young gentleman was also very knowledgeable and kind.|(Sorry I forgot his name)|The outdoor kitchen was a delight, all kitchen supplies were handy and the grocery store was in walking distance.|TEN STARS

This was a great cheap room for our driver to stay overnight. Hopefully this will become our new regular for his Port Douglas trips. It is located close to the beach and places to eat. The room was large and comfortable.||p.s it has a place to park the truck if needed.

Booked a last minute night here and from the moment we checked in with the helpful Jenny this place was fantastic. Great sized modern clean rooms with retro fittings, an outdoor area with a garden to all rooms and great pool. This place is also the best location in town! Walk out the back gate and you’re in town. The only regret I have is not staying longer. If you’re looking for a great budget friendly hotel this is the place to go!

We loved our stay. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious and it was lovely to stay in. Great location. We loved the custom artworks everywhere and the groovy carpet tiles. Bed was comfortable and we liked the pool. Thank you, we'll recommend to others.

Ms. L. and I recently spent 3 nights here and found it to be a perfect place to explore Port Douglas and vicinity. The staff were flexible, helpful, and quite knowledgeable. Their recommendations for where to eat and what to see were bang on, and they booked our reef snorkeling and rainforest tours for us with no problems - - all in all we had a fantastic time in Port Douglas, and doing so was much easier because of the Port Douglas Motel. The room itself was airy, up to date, quite clean, and nicely quiet at night. With the fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle in our room, we were able to handle our own breakfast and lunch, and using their laundry facilities was also handy. When we return to Port Douglas, we won't consider staying anywhere else.

Recently spent 2 nights here while visiting the Daintree Rainforest. The motel is conveniently located and there was ample parking. We just got off from a liveaboard trip and the spacious rooms felt like a really luxury after spending many nights in a small cabin. The staff were very friendly and the check-in and check-out process was really quick and hassle free. Would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town.
