"This contemporary, harborside luxury boutique hotel is known for its plunging view of the moored megayachts and a terrific view of the Monaco Grand Prix. Compared with the Old World architecture of neighbors, the look is pure minimalism and streamlined Italian design. The rooms, dreamt up by Hermès designer Leïla Menchari, are almost identical—a blend of yellow and red Carrera marble, chrome-edged furnishings, leather-lined walls, silk fabrics, and shiny gold satin curtains. Expect limited space, though the lovely suites have large bay windows. Guests are served breakfast in the corner of the lobby since there is no restaurant. A far cry from the personalized service and varied resort attractions of other nearby establishments, this hotel’s appeal is strictly for those seeking a sophisticated urban vibe and relative proximity to the Rock and the Prince’s Palace."

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and were pretty happy there. The location is perfect and rooms are clean. You can actually take a QUICK shower in your suite because water is coming out of the shower head!! Also the restaurant on the top floor is convenient and true to the local cuisine. Parking is a bit pricey but then again it's Monaco.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the location is great - right on the harbour and just a short walk from everything else. The room was a great size and very luxurious / high quality with a fantastic view. We didn't hear any noise from outside and had a great night's sleep. I wish we could have stayed longer!

An unforgettable stay – excellent location, service, and comfort. First of all, the location of the hotel is incredible. It sits just across from a luxury marina, with only a small street in between, offering a breathtaking view. Parking was seamless—valet service was excellent. The staff downstairs were always ready to bring the car whenever we needed it, and no one ever made us feel expected to tip. The standard parking fee is €50, but your car is safe and always ready. Everyone from the valet to the front desk was extremely polite. They even upgraded our room for free, which was a wonderful surprise. Even though it was on the first floor, the suite was more beautiful than our home—absolutely stunning. We could see the yachts so closely from our window it felt like we could reach out and touch them. Cleanliness and kindness deserve another mention—it was spotless, and every staff member was incredibly courteous. Make sure to try the hotel’s restaurant (I’ll leave a separate review for that) and don’t miss the private access from the 6th floor that leads straight to the famous casino path—such a fun little detail

Review of Port Palace Hotel, Monaco I recently stayed at the Port Palace Hotel for the first time, and overall, it was a lovely experience—until the very end of our visit. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious, comfortable rooms. Housekeeping was prompt, efficient, and always friendly. The two gentlemen at the front desk were also great—especially the one working the night shift, who gave us excellent recommendations and was incredibly welcoming and kind. However, our check-out experience was unfortunately very disappointing. We had requested a late check-out and were granted an additional 30 minutes. We slightly exceeded that time, but we were never contacted or reminded by the hotel when the grace period ended. As a result, we were fined €100 for being 30 minutes late. We were very polite and paid the fine immediately. What truly soured our experience was the behavior of a blonde woman who identified herself as the hotel manager. She spoke to us with unnecessary hostility, raised her voice, and treated us with clear disrespect. When I calmly asked for her name so I could include it in a review, she refused to give it. This kind of conduct is deeply disappointing—especially from someone in a managerial position in the hospitality industry, where professionalism and respectful communication are essential. It’s unfortunate that such a positive stay ended on such a negative note. I had been planning to return to the Port Palace, but due to that encounter, I will not be staying here again. A beautiful hotel and mostly excellent staff—but one person’s behavior left a lasting negative impression It’s unfortunate, because this could have easily been a five-star experience

Absolutely lovely. You can sit by the window and watch the yachts all day. Excellent location and close to shopping and the casinos if you are into that.
