"This contemporary, harborside luxury boutique hotel is known for its plunging view of the moored megayachts and a terrific view of the Monaco Grand Prix. Compared with the Old World architecture of neighbors, the look is pure minimalism and streamlined Italian design. The rooms, dreamt up by Hermès designer Leïla Menchari, are almost identical—a blend of yellow and red Carrera marble, chrome-edged furnishings, leather-lined walls, silk fabrics, and shiny gold satin curtains. Expect limited space, though the lovely suites have large bay windows. Guests are served breakfast in the corner of the lobby since there is no restaurant. A far cry from the personalized service and varied resort attractions of other nearby establishments, this hotel’s appeal is strictly for those seeking a sophisticated urban vibe and relative proximity to the Rock and the Prince’s Palace."

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and were pretty happy there. The location is perfect and rooms are clean. You can actually take a QUICK shower in your suite because water is coming out of the shower head!! Also the restaurant on the top floor is convenient and true to the local cuisine. Parking is a bit pricey but then again it's Monaco.

During the Christmas season, the location is excellent—there’s a Christmas market right at the port in front of the hotel, so access and convenience are hard to beat. Considering this is Monaco, I also think it offers very good value for money. Strongly recommended.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Port Palace in early December. The hotel itself is certainly beautiful, and the location is perfect, being right in the center of Monaco at Port Hercules. But we were underwhelmed by the service. No smiles from the front desk ladies when we checked in - just here's your key, your room is that way. We did try to have dinner at their restaurant one evening but were rudely told that they weren't open yet (again, by staff with just a straight face.) Then, we tried to arrange a take-away breakfast bag at the front desk (since our plane left before breakfast time), and they acted as though they had never heard of the concept! They said they would try to "do something," but that morning they had nothing for us and didn't even mention it. Probably forgot. So, overall, nice boutique hotel with a great room but service was lacking. They should remember that a smile goes a long way -- a very long way!

An unforgettable stay – excellent location, service, and comfort. First of all, the location of the hotel is incredible. It sits just across from a luxury marina, with only a small street in between, offering a breathtaking view. Parking was seamless—valet service was excellent. The staff downstairs were always ready to bring the car whenever we needed it, and no one ever made us feel expected to tip. The standard parking fee is €50, but your car is safe and always ready. Everyone from the valet to the front desk was extremely polite. They even upgraded our room for free, which was a wonderful surprise. Even though it was on the first floor, the suite was more beautiful than our home—absolutely stunning. We could see the yachts so closely from our window it felt like we could reach out and touch them. Cleanliness and kindness deserve another mention—it was spotless, and every staff member was incredibly courteous. Make sure to try the hotel’s restaurant (I’ll leave a separate review for that) and don’t miss the private access from the 6th floor that leads straight to the famous casino path—such a fun little detail

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the location is great - right on the harbour and just a short walk from everything else. The room was a great size and very luxurious / high quality with a fantastic view. We didn't hear any noise from outside and had a great night's sleep. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We arrived at Port Palace Hotel the door staff were right there ready to help, the reception staff very efficient advised our Suite was ready. The room was clean and just lovely, the view is perfect for us. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was perfect for our needs. The only thing I would change in the bathroom would be the shower door, they open inwards, its a single cubicle so its difficult to close the door when you are in, my husband is on the larger side so he cannot get in, he showers with the door open, if the door opened outwards with a magnetic closing mechanism it would work much better. I previously left a review regarding the room service breakfast which was dire. This time they made improvements. A lot more care was taken and breakfast was an enjoyable experience, the fresh fruit was sub standard before but now it is good quality, the coffee was hot before it was luke warm, the bread was hard before now it was fresh and lovely. The boiled eggs were perfectly prepared compared to last time. It was all beautifully presented too. We ordered Room Service Pizza it was hot and delicious would certainly recommend you try it. Great improvement overall. The reception area has been refurbished and is now a stunning impression when you enter the hotel (WOW in fact). Honestly I would give it 5 stars now because they obviously read the reviews and did something about it. Can't wait to return next year. Thank you all for making our stay a pleasurable experience.

Port is a lovely hotel with an excellent restaurant in the top floor. The staff was friendly and helpful. ||There were 2 serious issues during our stay. First, the air conditioning was broken for all 4 days we were there. It was very uncomfortable. Second, the shower door wasn't properly installed so there was only a narrow gap for getting in. We aren't big people and it's a good thing because big people would not be able to use it. |This is a high end hotel right in the port area of Monaco. I expected them to offer some sort of discount for the lack of basic amenities.

Review of Port Palace Hotel, Monaco I recently stayed at the Port Palace Hotel for the first time, and overall, it was a lovely experience—until the very end of our visit. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious, comfortable rooms. Housekeeping was prompt, efficient, and always friendly. The two gentlemen at the front desk were also great—especially the one working the night shift, who gave us excellent recommendations and was incredibly welcoming and kind. However, our check-out experience was unfortunately very disappointing. We had requested a late check-out and were granted an additional 30 minutes. We slightly exceeded that time, but we were never contacted or reminded by the hotel when the grace period ended. As a result, we were fined €100 for being 30 minutes late. We were very polite and paid the fine immediately. What truly soured our experience was the behavior of a blonde woman who identified herself as the hotel manager. She spoke to us with unnecessary hostility, raised her voice, and treated us with clear disrespect. When I calmly asked for her name so I could include it in a review, she refused to give it. This kind of conduct is deeply disappointing—especially from someone in a managerial position in the hospitality industry, where professionalism and respectful communication are essential. It’s unfortunate that such a positive stay ended on such a negative note. I had been planning to return to the Port Palace, but due to that encounter, I will not be staying here again. A beautiful hotel and mostly excellent staff—but one person’s behavior left a lasting negative impression It’s unfortunate, because this could have easily been a five-star experience
