Everything we had was fresh and flavorful! The prices were super affordable, especially for how much food you get and in comparison to similar breakfast spots in the area. The staff was very friendly. The vegan gallo pinto plate came with coffee. It was a nice compliment to the dish. The french toast with fruit was so so good and fun to share. We wanted to try the bagels; they were out this time, but the breads they used were so tasty and well-made. I would come here every morning for breakfast or brunch if I could! Highly recommend.

This place is an absolute must. 15/10! I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. I ordered the French toast with eggs as well as a smoothie. The waiter was absolutely amazing. He was sooooo acknowledgeable and provided different recommendations. He was also very patience with me as I attempted to order in Spanish. He provided corrections and was super encouraging. The food arrived very quickly and everything was absolutely phenomenal! I would definitely return.

We were in Costa Rica for a week and this was the best food we got! We ordered both vegan and not vegan options, both were very good and very well served. The staff were very nice and flexible, and the restaurant was one of the few that included all taxes in the price 🙏🏽.

Update: They now serve lunch & even offer monthly cooking classes too! I tried the Carribean chicken with rice & beans for lunch, which was absolutely delicious! The cooking class that I took was Caribbean rice & beans with fried plantains. The cooking class was well organized, provided a translator and great way to meet new friends. One of my favorite breakfast spots in town! Owners MJ & Jonathan are super awesome and always take the time to say hi! Food is delicious, I usually get the Port Vell special with a jalapeño bagel, the pairing of maple syrup & cream cheese is yummy. They also have refreshing frios coco de leche lattes. Great chill beach vibes atmosphere. There's a working space area in the back with couches, games and books. Definitely a must visit! I also like to check out some of the local vendors wears that they sell their too!

One of my fav breakfasts I had while in Puerto Viejo. Entrusting tasted delicious!

Their pancake is tasty, but an unusual take on a Pancake. More like a sweet bread circular Loaf, not a traditional Pancake. No free refills on coffee, which is par for the course in PV. PayPal or cash, no cards. Wife's bagel sammy was thin, but tasty. Price wasn't bad. Edit: Thanks for the reply, nice to see a business reply. We were happy with our meal, sorry if that didn't come across in the review. As I said, the pancake was tasty, just not what I expected. 'Par for the course', is an Americanism that means it's usual, so I was not surprised by no coffee refill, just passing it along to other travelers. You run a good place!

Great breakfast spot! Typical prices for a touristy/trendier spot by the beach. You can see the beach from the patio, although it's not beachfront. They make their own oat and almond milk for coffee, which is super appreciated. Server spoke great English and was very friendly and attentive, whic is greatly appreciated as many Costa Rican establishments have bad customer service.
