"I love vintage design shops. At Spazio900 in Aquabella and Galleria MK near Porta Garibaldi, you can find incredible mid-century furniture and decor by the likes of Gio Ponti and Ettore Sottsass."

This historic arch sits in the middle of a paved public square. It is a fine place to pause and take a few photos on your way to the monumental cemetery or the shopping area nearby. You won't have much reason to linger unless you are a history buff.

I am going to Torino Porta susa, and I bought ticket if Trenord regional train in advance. Although the ticket cost is just 12.75 euros, but it is very convenient to travel to other regional areas via train. very comfortable and convenient journey. I have attached the picture and videos of the train showing interior also. I am impressed. Good job Trenord

Definitely one of the most beautiful gates in Milan. The nearby area is very interesting: there are several very nice shops and restaurants but the area itself is also worth a visit from an architectural point of view

Originally known as Porta Comasina, this gate marked the northern entrance to Milan’s historic city walls. It was rebuilt between 1826 and 1828 in Neoclassical style to commemorate the visit of Emperor Francis I of Austria, with design by Giacomo Moraglia. The structure features a central Doric arch flanked by two smaller pedestrian passages. Between 1834 and 1836, matching customs buildings were added on either side to manage goods entering the city. In 1860, the gate was renamed Porta Garibaldi in honor of Giuseppe Garibaldi, the revolutionary hero of Italian unification.

It's the "entrance door" to the beating heart of Milano. Everything you need is around or mostly in a walking distance.

after crossing the Porta Garibaldi’s area to the ‘old’ town, there are lots of beautiful shops to chill/drink/eat and make your walk in general.

Yelp
The Porta Garibaldi (formerly the Porta Comasina until 1860) is one of the six main gates north of the city along the road to Como. The beautiful arch is in the center of Piazza XXV Aprile. A beautiful structure and well worth a visit. I was here during evening hours and it's impressive. [Review 10705 overall, 473 of 2019.]

Yelp
The Porta Garibaldi city gate was built in 1825, on the road from Milan to the city of Como. Originally named the Porta Comasina, it was renamed Porta Garibaldi, for General Garibaldi, in 1860. Five Stars.
