"I love vintage design shops. At Spazio900 in Aquabella and Galleria MK near Porta Garibaldi, you can find incredible mid-century furniture and decor by the likes of Gio Ponti and Ettore Sottsass."

Definitely one of the most beautiful gates in Milan. The nearby area is very interesting: there are several very nice shops and restaurants but the area itself is also worth a visit from an architectural point of view

It's the "entrance door" to the beating heart of Milano. Everything you need is around or mostly in a walking distance.

after crossing the Porta Garibaldi’s area to the ‘old’ town, there are lots of beautiful shops to chill/drink/eat and make your walk in general.

One of the historical gates of Milan, originally called Porta Comasina, it marked the road to Como. The trendy and elegant Corso Como begins from there, and this gate opens to door to one of the most cool areas in Milan, the Isola Quarter full of restaurants, bars, dance places, fashion stores, artists studios. The gate itself is not ancient, built in 1825 and the side customs horses were added later on. Today it houses design studios displays.

Well located close to china town and near to train main station. You can easily reach on walking distance Piazza Gae Aulenti.

Yelp
The Porta Garibaldi (formerly the Porta Comasina until 1860) is one of the six main gates north of the city along the road to Como. The beautiful arch is in the center of Piazza XXV Aprile. A beautiful structure and well worth a visit. I was here during evening hours and it's impressive. [Review 10705 overall, 473 of 2019.]

Yelp
The Porta Garibaldi city gate was built in 1825, on the road from Milan to the city of Como. Originally named the Porta Comasina, it was renamed Porta Garibaldi, for General Garibaldi, in 1860. Five Stars.
