Had the opportunity to dine here for an anniversary dinner with my wife, here are a few takeaways I have based off my experience:
Service - the restaurant was booming when we arrived (around 7/7:30pm). We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait and it took maybe about 10/15 mins for us to get seated. The staff was a small team of about 4/5 people but they did their best to move quickly to make sure everyone enjoyed the experience. If we needed anything, they were quick to act on the request and even gave us wine as a thank you to pass the time while we waited.
Ambiance - the restaurant is literally right off the water, so if you are looking for a location to watch the sun set over the water, this and a few other shops along the pier are prefect for that. Because of this reason, most of the seating is outside, yet there is an option to sit inside as well, which is something to keep in mind if you want to get seated quicker and maybe have a larger party.
Food - now for the most important thing, the food. I thought the dishes were just okay, not anything over the top, but still good enough to be enjoyable. There was a moment when I first got my food (lobster and pasta) that I realized the noodles weren't cooked all the way. I mentioned it to the waiter and she had them cooked again. After that change, the food tasted much better, but if I'm being honest, I don't think it was worth the wait or the price.
If you're in the area and it's not as busy, I would suggest getting it a try to decide for yourself. But if you're looking for an experience that will blow you away and get seated quickly, I would suggest trying another spot.
Also! In regards to payment- I would recommend paying with cash when you go. Our meal came out to $70 and I paid with card, yet when I checked my bank account I was charged $75 dollars. I'm not sure where the additional fees came from or why they weren't disclosed, but would definitely recommend paying with cash so that error can be avoided in the future.
