Portales Café

Great little cafe at the back of a supermarket. Even though it is in a supermarket it doesn’t feel hectic or lack the good vibe for a morning coffee. Coffee was great and the avocado on toast with scrambled eggs was so delicious. Good prices. Service was fast and waiters were friendly. We arrive in Iquitos very early (too early for check in) and were grateful that this place opened early. Affordable Plato del día also (although I did not try it).

Good food, good prices. I had the Milanesa for 19 PEN. It was a little bit small but in general tasty. Cheesecake with passionfruit was good. Very nice and fast service. I'd come again!! (:

Food is ok but very bland, got 3 small pieces of chicharron and some very dried out patatoes. Not worth the price

This is a great place to eat on a budget in Iquitos. They have plenty of choices on the menu and the food tastes fresh and delicious, the prices are very reasonable. They have a couple of locations in the city, I liked the one located at the back of their supermarket because it was airconditioned!

Great smoothies, coffees and food. We didn't have breakfast but the menu looked solid. Really good prices too. It doesn't look that inviting, but it's always busy for a good reason. Definitely a must hit dining location

Great service and food. Cheap prices. David was an awesome server! Feels cleaner/safer than some options if you’re traveling and want to avoid getting sick.

Great food! Great service! My favorite waiter was David he was fast and helpful, because of David we ate there multiple time during our stay.
