Had a perfect lunch. The executive menu is a good deal. Cozy atmosphere, great staff. Would go again.

We've been to Andre Chiang’s other restaurant in Taipei which was a lot nicer. We had the tasting menu which was a lot of food but the quality is mixed. Starters were very nice but the main course lamb was dry. And dessert was so-so. The main problem is that there's no aircon even though it was 30 degree outside, and there was no window either so it became very stuffy.

Amazing food and superb service. The food is well sourced and classic but with a great twist for a new approach to traditional French cuisine. The decor was spectacular as well. Can't say enough about how delightful this restaurant was for my Husband and I.

Porte 12 stood out as one of our most memorable meals in Paris. We tried the 5-course menu as we were in a rush to catch a show afterwards and they so kindly accomodated our need to dine quickly. Need to go back and experience the full 7-course menu next time we are in town!

Excellent fine cuisine!!! Lunch at Porte 12, the bistrot opened by prestigeous Taiwanese chef André Chiang, and his restaurant André in Singapore is ranked top 37th around the world. Cozy and casual atmosphere, kind and fast service, and the meal was quite delicate and original with an affordable lunch menu. Highly recommended!!!

Chef Vincent was formerly Head Chef with Andre Chiang, in Singapore (2 michelin stars) and he was in charge of the kitchen when the restaurant made it to the 50 best restaurants in the world, but not so many people knows about this. Therefore, it's probably the most unexpected retaurant among the fine dining scene in Paris. It's a very cosy and romantic place, to share a dinner with your beloved one.

Yelp
We had quite some expectations from this place. Owned by André Chiang ( former head chef at the three starred Le Jardin des Sens and now at Restaurant André in Singapore), the head chef is Vincent Crepel, a young chef from the Midi-Pyrénées who worked at the three starred Hotel de Ville in Crissier, Switzerland. That's why we really expected something delightful from this evening, but unfortunately the place failed to deliver. The menu, 6 courses for 75 €, was much uninspired and lacked of thought. With the exception of the last course (the usual black-on-black chocolate and beet combination, he almost always uses these two elements in creating the last dish), everything else showed errors and lack of ideas. It was really discouraging. The worst part probably was the Fois Gras dish, served as a creme with japanese raw mushrooms with chinese bun. The dish was completely out of mind. It was so fatty and so wrong in taste we actually thought to send it back. The mushroom is absolutely unable to keep up with the fois gras, and the bun adds fattiness and oily consistence to something that already has plenty. I did not expect such a mindless combination, this was not an error in the preparation, it was a concept mistake. The fact that the dish was followed up by a pollock in orange sauce with the intention of cleaning up the palate was even worse. After filling my mouth with fat you actually overdose the acid part. Such an error is unbelievable. Looking at the culinary scene in Paris you can definitely look for something else and experience something definitely better.

Yelp
What a delicious meal.. every mouthful was good. The service was great too. The food just lacked a tiny bit of originality but otherwise it was a lovely experience! The restaurant itself is charming and quiet.

Yelp
Very cozy and delicious food! We were recommended to go here through our hotel after another place was completely booked for the night. We weren't really sure what to expect but we had a wonderful experience. You have to be open to whatever they serve you and trust that it will be good. The main lamb course was absolutely amazing and the dessert dishes were up there too. I highly suggest doing the wine pairings as well to get the full experience. The staff was so sweet and tried their best to explain everything in English!

Yelp
If your looking for an epicurious experience in Paris this is the place. The six course meal takes you on a gastronomic tour. From the street, you could easily miss this place as there is only a large door marked with "Port 12". But through door and down a hall is the cozy, warmly lit, open dinning room with about a dozen tables. A glass wall between the eating area and kitchen allows you to see chef Vincent Crepel and his team carefully prepare your meal. Each course is creatively plated and a reasonably sized portion. What stood out most was the masterful use of fresh local ingredients, where each subtle flavor was present and also played its part in scrumptious result. Unlike a typical Parisian Bistro menu, Port 12 delivers unique, interesting dishes that are prepared with perfect technique.
