We come across this Beach Café by chance, it's tucked away down the beach approach just off the St Ives - Island car Park. Got to say the drive to and from the car park was tight and through the town, but we managed to squeeze down the tight roads in our Ford Ranger.
The Porthgwidden Beach Café was a lovely unexpected jewel, we were greeted by the staff and seated at the lovely window table overlooking the bay.
The food choice was just what we expected, and the quality was 2nd to non, we both had the fish and chips, which was great quality and taste. The service was extremely quick, and the staff where really friendly, giving us advice on the scenery and where we should visit. All in all I will give this place a 5/5 for food, service and a friendly atmosphere.
We will definitely save this as a favourite for when we return back to Cornwall.
