Porto Fira Suites

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Porta Fira Suites for close to a week in November 2025. Service all round was excellent, from the friendly and helpful staff at reception to housekeeping to the servers and porters. The food, too, was amazing, from the breakfasts that were served to our suite each day to room service which we had for dinner more than once. We were very grateful that the reception staff initiated contact with us a day before our arrival via WhatsApp with information on getting to the hotel. They had their porter meet us at a specific pick-up point to help us with our luggage and walk us to the hotel as the hotel is not accessible by car. Our "Suite for Two" was lovely and spacious, offering unblocked views of the Aegean Sea and sunsets from our verandah. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Kudos to the entire team! (Just a note that the hotel is located on the lower cliffs of the caldera, and this meant that we had to walk up a fair number of steps to reach the main pedestrian street from our suite and the same number of steps back down again. A good workout is assured! That said, being where the hotel is meant unblocked views of the sea. The location of the property was perfect for us, too - right in the heart of Fira and very close to the central bus station.)

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. The view from our room was stunning, the room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Initially the iron was missing, we called the front desk and they brought one right away! The customer service was phenomenal! They are very attentive to your needs and requests. The receptionist helped us reserve dinner both nights we were there. She was very patient and kind to us. The water pressure and heat in the showers are excellent! The in suite breakfast that was provided both mornings, was like eating at a 5 start restaurant. We would recommend anyone go to this hotel for an amazing time in Santorini...1000%!

We absolutely loved our stay at Porto Fira! The location and view were incredible and we were in walking distance of all of the restaurants and spots in Fira. The service was incredible and the breakfasts were delicious. We loved the hot tub on our private patio as well. The only thing to be aware of is the amount of stairs getting to and from the rooms- this didn’t bother us but could be an issue for others. Overall a great spot, would recommend!

Lara was in top form - pleasant, helpful, respectful, communicated well. She reached out ahead of arrival to ensure stress free experience as hotel is located on cliff. ||Upon arrival and for over half an hour, Lara patiently answered all my questions to manage my stay including planning transport to/ from Oia, departure time from hotel to airport, and breakfast menu selection. Lara also provided unsolicited advice which was truly useful like nearest supermarket. She knew well what guests often look for.||Room and caldera views were outstanding. Delicious breakfast was served privately either indoor i.e. in room or outdoor i.e. porch right outside room. ||Met Evangelos briefly at check out. Lara said he is one of her best managers. He seemed pleasant.

Myself and my wife booked this hotel based on the previous reviews and boy were they right!|The room was amazing, we booked the Porto Fira suite with a hot tub which was hot and ready for the whole time we were there. The staff were all amazing! We had a slight hiccup the first night and the bed was wet, at just before 11 it was perfectly fine, the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful.|The breakfast was great, served every morning on our terrace. We ordered room service a few times and the food was great and the cocktails were amazing as my wife told me!|When i asked for a late check out, because our flight left at 2300 we were told it was not a problem and we could keep the room for the day until we needed to leave. The hospitality of the staff is second to none. |We will return to Santorini and when we do we will definitely stay here again.|I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Perfect location with views to die for. Our 6 night stay was simply amazing. The professional barman Chris (and his side kick Michael) were great fun and very helpful to us on numerous occasions. The front desk team couldn't do enough and went out of their way to deliver birthday balloons and goodies at the request of my work colleagues for my milestone. We had the best room (the Porto Fira Suite) and it was just lovely. My only suggestions is they need to have a larger fridge that keeps things cold, as we had to buy ice daily to keep drinks cold in the bathroom sink. Another little tweak that would've improved our stay is to fine tune the clunky ordering system for breakfast...it works, however, could be simplified. In saying that, having breakfast delivered to our balcony every morning was simply divine. A tip for those booking to stay here is to take advantage of the transfer the hotel offers, this included porters to carry your cases to the hotel, which would have been very difficult. Also work on your calf muscles before you arrive, as they will get a workout with the steps you encounter daily.

Angie - sorry if I misspelled your name - really went above and beyond to take care of us. We made the mistake of not booking a room that fit our needs (as it was our honeymoon I wanted something special) she made sure we got an upgrade even if it were for our last night and that meant a lot to me. By the way for those coming for a special occasion definitely book the upgraded room with the jacuzzi beforehand - all other rooms are quite tiny. The staff and waiters were also amazing - I found Chris and Mike I believe were their name to be particularly great at the bar.

So many good things to say about this place! They treat every guest here like a celebrity, from luggage being carried, a welcome drink, included 5-star breakfast and the most thorough customer service you will ever encounter - this place has it all. My husband and I were truly able to relax during our stay and would definitely come back!
