The Best Greek Islands to Visit in 2025 | Condé Nast Traveler

"A craggy Zakynthos inlet where sunbeds are wedged between rocks and palm-frond umbrellas peek from the pines—rustic, dramatic, and irresistibly swimmable." - Katie Silcox, Rachel Howard

Very beautiful place, water is clear, beautiful blue /turquoise. The water is cold. There were caves where people go snorkeling. The beach part is actually a rock formation and you need to go down to reach the water and up to reach the sunbathing area. End of July you pay 20 EU for umbrella and two sunbeds. Staff is kind and friendly. There is no shower. Clean toilets with everything needed are available. You can reserve place in advance. Lots of people go there and finding a parking spot it's challenging if you come later in the day. Parking is available there and when full cars stop on the streets.

Very crowded, a lot of trash. But beautiful 😁 You can begin your diving here. A lot of fishes, 🦀 crabs and caves! Its hart to find a place to lay. A lot of empty bottles, cigarettes and other trash around. Nevertheless you must check it out 🫡 There are some cold streams in the water and different depths for different goals. Also you may rent diving equipment here. Hard to get into the water. The beach has jumping spot ~3-4m

The color of the water is magnificent, changing throughout the day. It becomes more and more beautiful towards the end of the day when the sun's rays create some gorgeous colors.

4.5 is a fair rate for this beach. It’s super picturesque with torques clear water. Great place for snorkeling. By the way, there is a rental spot for scuba diving and snorkeling. We also have had a great experience of searching and catching for crabs (I have released them subsequently). The only drawback was its overcrowds and dirtiness on the ground (mostly from smoking).

Very beautiful spot to swim. The water was great. There is an area with sunbeds and umbrellas which I highly recommend booking in advance and arriving before 10 AM. We paid 10 euro/sunbed. The food at the restaurant was ok, tasty, a bit pricy. Go for the view and swim.

Fantastic spot with beautifully clear water up in the hills. You can swim towards the cave or jump off the rocks (though that part wasn’t for me). At the restaurant on top of the hill you can rent sunbeds — I had a cabana for €40. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are friendly. Just watch out for the lady guarding the toilets with her life 😉 (she only lets you through if you’re a paying customer). The view from the sunbeds is stunning! Highly recommended. The only real downside is the parking — there are only about 30 spots or else you’ll have to park along the cliff edge. Good luck with your rental car 😂

Absolutely gorgeous beach and one of my favorites. Very good for snorkeling and it has shallow waters as well, it's gradual and it's ranging from 30cm to 5-6m or above. It's not suitable for kids since you can't really sunbathe and it's kinda hard for kids to reach the shallow water zone.

For those looking for pristine turquoise waters surrounded by striking cliffs, Porto Limnionas in Zakynthos is a breathtaking destination that is a must-see. Swimming, snorkelling, and even a little cliff jumping are all excellent activities in this charming cove. Offering some of the best views and underwater scenery on the island, the natural setting seems unspoiled. Despite the lack of a sandy beach, guests can unwind on sun loungers or spread out towels on the polished stones. It is simple to spend a perfect day here taking in the local culture and the natural surroundings thanks to the on-site Porto Limnionas Tavern, which serves delectable Greek cuisine and refreshing drinks with stunning sea views.
