What a great restaurant in Podgorica !! The meal was so good. The perfect gorgonzola sauce for my steak, the good bread, the marvelous salmon my wife had. Good service by our waiter and the ambience is beautiful. I will let go the bad reception we got from the first waiter in the front who looked us up and down and frowned, until he passed us to another waiter (which saved the night).

Porto is a fantastic restaurant! The food was delicious, with generous portions that offered great value for money. Service was prompt, and we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary bread and tapenade to start. What truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere—immaculately clean, warm, and inviting, with a charming blend of greenery and rustic decor. I was genuinely impressed by the attention to detail in the design.

The atmosphere was very nice and we really enjoyed that part of the experience. However, the service could have been better. Our waiter seemed a bit tired and there were some misunderstandings. For example, they forgot to remove the service plates when serving the main course, which is something you'd normally expect in a restaurant of this level. There was also confusion with the meals — I mentioned a few times that the gnocchi was wasnt for me, but it was still served to me. I ordered a seasonal salad and received one with diveded into 4 onions, which was surprising for a place that presents itself as a luxurious restaurant. Also my knife was dirty Thank you.

Such a delightful place! Everything was amazing from start to finish. The waiter was incredibly attentive, taking the time to find the perfect wine to complement our meal. His recommendation was spot-on, and we were very pleased with the choice. The portions were unexpectedly large, providing great value for the price. Each dish was not only ample but also delicious. To top it all off, the atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable, making the entire dining experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!

We recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We ordered fish, which was extremely dry, tough, completely lacking any marinade, and tasted almost as if it wasn’t fresh. The squid was no better it seemed barely cooked, still nearly white, rubbery, tough, and absolutely flavorless.. The risotto was al dente if that’s your preference, but overall nothing remarkable. The only dish we actually enjoyed was the Dalmatian stew, which was nicely prepared. Overall, the fish and squid were a complete disaster. On top of that, the bill came to €164 an unreasonably high price for such poorly prepared food.. While the waiter was polite, he could have at least offered to remake the dish or not charge us for the fish, considering how bad it was. We left truly disappointed. I will not be coming back here, and I absolutely cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Our friend recommended this place, it seems like local really loves this place and the food. First impression when we arrived there was oke, the places was clean and good set up. We ordered steak. Our waiter took our order, and it seemed like he was really in a rush. He didn't ask how we would like our steak done, I need to remind him for that..ups We ordered medium well, and when the steak arrived, it was overcooked (almost burn), mine was very dry. And i realize the steak didn't come up with sauce. And our waiter didn't even bother to ask me if I wanted some sauce on my steak or not. My husband had Porto steak. That one was oke(maybe because that was the most expensive one). When he came to our table and asked if we were finish but my husband was chewing his food. You should not clear up the plate while people are still eating, right? Hmm..not nice. We were not happy with the service and the food itself. Seems like a fancy restaurant, but the service that night was horrible. Or maybe we were thinking that they would treat better locals. We were just a tourist which come maybe once and never come back and they didn't leave a good impression. Will be nice if you can treat all the guests equally. Sorry, no tips. (Normally, we are pretty generous regarding tips ..

You wouldn't think this is a 5 star restaurant from the outside, but the decor is beautiful inside. The food and service were impeccable and had a really great lunch towards the end of my 4 weeks trip in EU. Porto is a must visit, and it's such a contrast to a thieving experience I had at Hemera Restaurant the next day. Octopus salad was amazing. It was close to a whole octopus of 350g. Fish soup was so clean that I didn't experience any stomach issues afterwards. The main course was fish plate, but it was actually seafood plate which includes more octopus. The whole lunch ended with a 2 euro latte which was great as well. I need to give special mention to the service. I should have asked for his name but service was on the spot and I didn't neglected anytime even if he was super busy after 12pm. He deserved 20 euro tipping.

So me and my Fiancee are in Podgorica, Montenegro 🇲🇪 on Holiday from our home in Manchester, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. We are staying in an Airbnb in the Centre of Podgorica, So in the Morning I went shooting near Danilovagrad but my Fiancee loves seafood so we saw that Porto Restaurant(Restoran) had fantastic reviews. So we opted to go to Porto Restaurant for Food, We entered and were warmly greeted by a Hostess who sat us in the restaurant, My Fiancee ordered a Nice Glass of Local Red wine 🍷 and I opted for a Nice cold pint of Local Beer Mamusat 🍺. My Fiancee really enjoyed her Red Wine it was slightly chilled, Great flavour and went down really nice, My pint of Mamusat was ice cold, Crisp and It was a really good pint. So the restaurant was very well decorated and Fantastic features like a little courtyard, Water feature, a tree and some World clocks etc. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, The service was amazing and then onto the food, So the waiter brought us some water for the table and some local warm breads 🍞 with Olives 🫒 that had been made into a paste. So for food we ordered a Fish stew(€3.50) and The SeaFood sharing platter(Seabass, baby squid, Grilled octopus, Seafood risotto)(€55) which consisted of 3x Seabass, 4x Baby Squid, Octopus 🐙, King prawns, Seasoned rice etc. The Fish Stew was very well seasoned, Fresh, fragrant, The fish was so fresh and it was delicious, So onto the Seafood sharing platter, What can we say wow, The portion was absolutely huge there was only the two of us but the seafood platter could of easily fed Four people. The Fish was cooked perfectly, The fish was extremely fresh and well seasoned and well presented, The fish was so soft and tender and went really well together. As busy as the Restaurant was the service was amazing, Extremely attentive staff and we cannot speak highly enough of Porto Restaurant. Service, Ambience, Food, Drink etc were exceptional. Bill only came to €77 but we rounded it upto €90 5☆
