The view from the top is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, as you get closer to the trail and the beaches, you can find garbage scattered around, which is such a shame. Some tourists really should take their trash with them—or simply stay home if they can’t respect that 😤 Five stars for the nature ✨️

The beach is reached via a narrow stone path about a kilometer long. You should go in sneakers, without carrying too many things, with enough food and water, and be prepared for a bit of hiking. The beach is interesting but small, with both sandy and rocky areas. It’s beautiful for photography from above.

One of the best beaches with clear blue and green water and fishes to watch when snorkelling. A must visit. The hike from car park is about 30 mins and steep climb but worth the effort. There are boat rides from the beach if tired to walk back.

Sooooooo stunning but no one warned us about the walk. You drive to Afionas and park your car there for 15 euros. The hike down to the beach was 40-50 minutes!!! Be prepared, bring the right shoes and lots of water and enjoy

A must do! The hike was really fun...took us maximum 30 minutes with our kids (7 & 10) but I really recommand wearing shoes for your safety as the rocks are slippery and it's an uneven path. Take lots of water as most of the path is in sun and it can't get very hot during summer. The beach itself is nice (mix of sand and pebbles). It's a bit small and can get overcrowded, but worth it if you are in to beautiful viewpoint and hiking :) Parking is available in the village for 10 euros

Porto Timoni is undeniably beautiful, and the view during the hike is absolutely stunning — no doubt about that. However, I feel it’s important to share a more realistic take on the experience. The hike is officially listed as 25 minutes, but in reality, it took me around 40 minutes — and I’m fairly young and fit. The descent is quite tricky, with lots of rocks and uneven terrain. Even with proper sneakers, I found it slippery and difficult, especially under the intense summer heat. I slipped several times and saw others struggling too. To make matters worse, the path was crowded, which made it even more challenging to navigate. Yes, the views on the way down are breathtaking, but honestly, in the middle of July, I would recommend taking a boat to reach the beach instead of hiking down — it’s just too exhausting and not really worth the struggle if you’re not well-prepared. Once at the bottom, the beach was packed. It was so crowded that people had trouble even getting into the water. And strangely enough, despite the heat, the sea was freezing. There were also lots of rocks, which made it uncomfortable to walk and hard to swim — I could barely enjoy the water because of how cold and stony it was. That being said, the natural beauty of the spot is undeniable. If you go, I recommend avoiding peak hours, wearing proper shoes, bringing lots of water, or even better — arriving by boat and skipping the hike altogether.

A must-see and experience! The water is crystal clear, and the scenery is absolutely stunning. The beach is a mix of sand and rocks, so it might not be ideal for just sunbathing, but when you pair it with a refreshing swim, it becomes something truly magical. It’s the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy the simple pleasures of vacation life.

The scenery is absolutely stunning, but the beach itself is nothing special. It’s small and very crowded. On top of that, it’s about a 30-minute hike from the nearest parking area, which may not be worth the effort for most people. It’s also not suitable for elderly visitors or young children due to the walk and terrain.
