Porto Veneziano Hotel

Lovely hotel in a perfect location, right on the port and edge of the old town. Walking distance to everything, lots of restaurants and bars close by. Rooms were clean and modern, only negative was that our room was a bit small and difficult to open a large suitcase. Breakfast is great with a good selection of cold items and hot items you can order off the menu. Service from the breakfast staff could be slightly improved but the staff at the front desk were great. Highly recommend this hotel if staying in Chania.

Well located in the old historic town on the port which is close to restaurants, tavernas and shops. Despite its historic significance, the hotel appears to be well managed and staffed, of top class. Good value for money. Very clean, polite staff and excellent breakfast. Definitely return to Porto Veneziano Hotel during my next Chania trip.

The hotel surpassed all my expectations! The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The room was clean and beyond comfortable . The breakfast was fantastic. I truly appreciated the views from the balcony. The hotel’s location was amazing and the parking was very convenient. Eleni and Katerina did a fantastic job and helped us with everything. Thank you so much for your kindness . I highly recommend this hotel and in my opinion is the best place to stay in Chania .

My sister and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Porto Veneziano! The location is perfect, the rooms were spotless, and the staff went above and beyond to make our first visit to Crete unforgettable. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating—always ready to help with anything we needed. Thanks to their fantastic recommendations for dinner reservations, local gyro spots, the most beautiful beaches, and more, we were able to truly enjoy everything the area has to offer. The hotel’s food and bar were excellent, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and completely safe. We can’t thank the staff enough for their warmth and hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend Porto Veneziano to anyone visiting Crete—it’s truly the perfect place to stay!

Stayed for only two nights at the hotel but had an amazing time here. Superbly situated, the hotel gives you access to all the delights of Chania but in a beautiful and discrete position. We also ate on the second night in the restaurant and found this to be outstanding. The food was superb and served so passionately by Panos who expertly guided us through the local food and wines detailed in the menu. Will be coming here again very soon, such a delightful place to stay and eat.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel in July. It was a perfect stay. The hotel facilities are lovely. The location is great, and the views are astonishing. I would recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to have a great stay. The staff was friendly, helpful, and supportive. Breakfast was superlative!! Fresh products and everything of the best quality we could dream of!! Rooms are great as well! Congratulations to all the people working in the hotel. We felt at home!!!

Absolutely loved staying here!! Gorgeous, classy rooms in an excellent location! The rooms are said to be small, but we stayed in the suite which was just brilliant. It’s rated 3 stars but should be 5! Congratulations on an excellent offering!! Highly recommended. We will be back. Great in room dining and restaurant experience too!

Fantastic hotel and a great location on the harbour front. The staff were first class and very helpful as well. Rooms were lovely and clean and there was a good choice of food at breakfast also. Will definitely stay again..
