I LOVE THIS PLACE. My friend and I came to Mykonos unaware that it had a big party scene, ha. Thankfully, this hotel is far enough away from the clubs that you don't hear much of anything. However, it is also close enough that you can safely and easily walk everywhere, even to a club :) The staff were SO helpful with advice around things to do, how to use the bus system, etc. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had (see my photos and video). They'll even make you an omelette if you ask! The building has a phenomenal view, feels totally safe and is so well decorated. It's gorgeous inside and out. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. It will meet all of your needs (unless stairs are a "no" for you...as there are a lot of stairs down and up to the hotel).

We thoroughly enjoyed this stay. Several advantages to this hotel: Perfect spot to enjoy the sunset, wonderful room, breakfast was terrific, including the homemade Greek yogurt, and the staff was beyond helpful. They even located my phone when I accidentally left it in a taxi, and they secured a spot for us on a tour boat at the last minute. It was a short walk to the center of town, but far enough away it had a quiet feel. I can’t imagine a better place to stay on Mykonos!

This is a lovely hotel in a great position slightly uphill so you get great views of Mykonos. There are other reviews talking about the steps to climb from town but honestly they are not bad at all (we are in our in our 60s). We had good advice before arrival from Anna about how to get from the new port into town. The little seabus is very efficient & only 2 euros. It's a 5 minute walk into town from the hotel and that's a benefit because it's so peaceful at night. The staff are all really lovely and so helpful. We benefitted from an upgrade as the hotel was not full. The suite was perfect. Panoramic views over the town & the old windmill close by. Breakfast really fresh with a good selection. If we return to Mykonos we would definitely stay here again & highly recommend.

This hotel was a change from many others we stayed at over a six week trip. Lovely Danish inspired decor, thoughtful furnishings.|We were upgraded to a garden suite which meant we had two small rooms overlooking the garden of the private villa next door - also owned by the same hotel.|The bed was comfortable and bedding and towels good quality as you would expect from a hotel that commands a high price .|Staff very personable and helpful recommending restaurants and beaches to access on local buses. Beach towels and bag were also provided.|There were only a few guests when we stayed which made it difficult to offer more options at breakfast but what was there was freshly made and well presented.|We did find it difficult to leave our suitcases open as floor space was a little tight. |The location was not far from the main road with the bonus of two windmills close by.|The old town with all its buzz was accessed via two stone paths right down to sea level at the old port. This is where you could shop until you dropped and then cool off with a cold drink at the myriad of restaurants there.|A nice way to end our Greek odyssey m|

Best location in Mykonos. Perfect hotel. Perfect view. Perfect hospitality. Extremely beautiful. We had all we dreamed of and more. Quite and calm on one hand and close to the centre on the other hand. The view from the hotel is priceless. The garden is inviting. The room is perfectly comfortable and everywhere you look you see a unique detail of decoration. The stuff is helpful and the atmosphere is friendly and familial. We had the best time and we’ll be back for sure.

We stayed in Portobello Boutique hotel private villa for 5 nights with a baby and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.||Location:|The hotel is conveniently located close to Mykonos Town; it’s about 3 minute walk downhill to Sakis Grill, and less than 10 minutes to Little Venice (more on the way back to the hotel due to uphill climb). We love the location and found it extremely handy. There are steps involved- so it’s not for those with limited mobility! We ditched the stroller as well as it was easier using baby carrier.||Room:|We stayed in the private villa which comes with its own entrance, pool and lovely garden. The rooms are extremely spacious, newly refurbished and the actual rooms looks better than the photos published on their website. Baby cot was provided (and it fits next to a king sized bed!). |Each room comes with a small fridge though drinks are charged. There is a kettle and coffee machine. Good amenities including large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap, vanity kit and dental kit.||Food and Drinks:|Breakfast is included- small selection and there are eggs cooked to order. The Panorama bar is open to guests only and is one of the best part of the hotel- it’s so peaceful and has one of the most beautiful sunset views (people pay extortionate amount in bars close by with crowds… we prefer this). ||Service:|Extremely personalized- they know your preference by day one. The house cleaning team was extremely flexible and pretty much cleaned the rooms on demand. Great recommendations by front house. There is also a car park available for guests. ||Overall, an amazing stay- we would recommend this hotel to travelers so long they do not have limited mobility
