Portofino in Split offers one of the most beautiful dining settings in the old town, right against the backdrop of the historic Diocletian’s Palace. We enjoyed a candlelit dinner in a charming courtyard that felt romantic and timeless – perfect for an evening out.
The food was exceptional. The lobster bisque was rich and flavorful, the salmon Remington was cooked to perfection, and the ravioli with truffle was absolutely delicious. To finish, the mascarpone cheesecake topped with ice cream was easily the best dessert I’ve had in a long time.
Service was equally impressive. Our server, Leon, was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations. Everything came out promptly, and he ensured the entire evening ran smoothly.
Overall, Portofino offers a memorable dining experience with amazing food, great service, and an unbeatable atmosphere. An outstanding dinning experience for anyone looking for a romantic dinner in Split’s old town.
