What a great baby shower we had at Portofinos! Mindy and Nancy were exceptional and did everything they could to make our day so special!! Food was amazing and the servers did a great job! We visited this restaurant yesterday and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious — we started with their calamari as an appetizer, which was amazing. For the main course, I ordered the Portofino’s special, and my boyfriend had the veal prepared with their family recipe. It’s a small, cozy restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere that immediately won us over. The staff was incredibly kind and very helpful. The food easily deserves a 10 out of 10, and the interior is just as impressive. Highly recommended!

Great service. Great food. Beautful dining with a cozy feel with a fireplace. Family owned, Mindy and his son Timmy, so friendly and go above and beyond customer service.

For nearly 12 years, we have passed this restaurant without ever eating here. We always say, "Why do we keep forgetting about it when thinking of what new place we want to try." Finally, I put my dementia to the side and said we are going for a kid free date night. We went around 6 pm on a Friday and just beat the crowd. It is BYOB for those who enjoy a drink with dinner. You can tell there are a lot of regulars that come in, and we can see why. The staff were great! Food was robust with flavor. The menu has a decent amount of options for all appetites with specials as well. It's the type of restaurant where one of the owners comes around to your table to make sure everything is to your liking. I can't remember the last time my wife not only finished her plate but also had dessert. I had to clean mine with the last remaining piece of bread. It definitely is on the list to come back.

My first time dining here for my mom’s birthday. We did not have reservations & we were a party of 6 they quickly got a table together for us. Food & service was great would definitely go again. Let’s not forget big portions 😊

Great bread. And they do an excellent bruschetta that, just comes to table.😀 App's were good. Dinner however.,Three out of five were salty to almost not palatable. Menu .. Very traditional. No new finds.

I am happy to say I now have a second Italian restaurant added to my options list in Morris County. From the door, service was exceptional and attentive and throughout it was balanced just right. We went out for a family birthday celebration and there were three other parties with celebrations at the time. The atmosphere was not overly noisy and the food was delightful. We will certainly be back to Portofino's in the near future. Restrooms were clean and the restaurant also has a side patio and front entrance seating area.

Another spectacular dinner at Portofino! This place is DELICIOUS and service is always incredible! Best Italian restaurant in Northern NJ. Cannot wait to return. BYOB…. The hostess or one of the food runners (4/21) were definitely a little much with cleaning the table while we ate and constantly asking if we were finished but we assume she is just learning! Still excited to return :) 12/1 Another wonderful dinner at Portofinos, cannot wait to return :)
