"Posada Borravino Posada Borravino is tucked away along one of Mendoza ’s oldest poplar-lined streets in the city’s Chacras de Coria neighborhood. The country inn has eight distinct guestrooms that offer a peaceful respite in a quiet Mendocenean neighborhood. The hotel’s design is simple but elegant. Rooms feel clean and refreshing with rustic yet stylish furniture, patina walls, and high, white-washed wooden ceilings. A boutique hotel experience in every sense, here guests frequently mingle in the sun-drenched living room and cultivate friendships over bottles of malbec and long evening asados (barbecues). The back garden provides an inviting place to enjoy a good book, dip in the small swimming pool, or simply soak up the tranquil atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about what to do and see in Mendoza—from winery tours to adventure activities. In the evenings, Posada Borravino is lit up by dozens of scented candles, creating a magical ambience that casts a rosy glow on your entire stay."

We visited this Inn as a six people group (three couples). We had some very nice evenings eating empanadas and drink wine until late ours. Would recommend

There is truly only one place to stay in Mendoza, and it’s here! The team is absolutely incredible—they went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. From helping us arrange excursions to waiting up late into the night to welcome us after a delayed flight, their dedication was unmatched. To top it off, they cooked a phenomenal meal that made us feel right at home. This place is more than just a hotel; it’s a home away from home. A special shoutout to Rodolfo, the best hotel manager we’ve ever encountered. We’ll be recommending this gem to everyone we know!

Posada Borravino was an excellent boutique hotel. The hotel is located in Chacras de Coria in the Lujan de Cuyo region and was a pleasant 1 mile walk from the small downtown area with restaurants and bars. The hotel's breakfast is traditional (pastries, hams, and made-to-order scrambled eggs) and tasty. The hotel serves dinner from a limited menu by request, and the food is a bit rustic and extremely tasty. The wine list is similarly more rustic but with excellent local wines, approximately $8-15 per bottle USD. The hotel has a lovely quiet grassy patio area with a pool which was pleasant to enjoy a bottle of wine and read. The rooms and showers are larger than many other properties in Latin America I've traveled to, though nothing fancy. Most importantly, the hotel proprietors and workers are friendly, helpful, and very good cooks! The room was always cleaned to perfection and a bottle of wine or a snack could always be found. Keep in mind that the workers speak very limited English. We got by just fine with our limited Spanish and the occasional help from Google Translate. We will stay here again if we return to visit Mendoza! 100% recommend!

Our group stayed in the small “apartment” just off the main entrance, which consisted of a bedroom with a king bed, a bedroom with three single beds, and a bathroom. It was a great value for the price! The beds are quite firm but the pillows and blankets are ample. The floors are very cold this time of year (September) so be prepared to wear shoes or slippers all the time. While the furniture and house are a bit outdated, it was incredibly clean. The best part was the fantastic shower - hot and great pressure! The hotel staff speaks very little English but we didn’t have any issues leveraging our bit of Spanish skills. The breakfast each morning was wonderful!

My wife and I stayed at Posada Borravino in March 2023 while visiting Mendoza. Its a one-story facility, with about 12 units, located in a quiet residential neighborhood south of Chacras de Coria. We enjoyed the rustic atmosphere of a traditional inn. The staff were very attentive and helpful during our visit, arranging for laundry, bike rentals and restaurant reservations. The building is organized around a beautiful garden and small swimming pool, which opens from the combo dining room and sitting room! The garden area also has and area set aside for a traditional asado meal preparation and outdoor dining.|Our room opened to the outdoor terrace and garden. It was a bit small with limited furnishings, as was the bathroom. But it was also adjacent to the sitting room and garden, so did not feel cramped. The only negative was two nights where a large group was using the asado prep and dining area late (for us) into the night, making it hard to sleep. Other rooms would have been quieter.|Breakfasts were very good with a varieties of fresh fruit and pastries. The staff was also available for dinners if reserved. However, one afternoon we did not return as soon as expected, yet even with the primary chef out, they volunteered to prepare us a delightful dinner of salad and empanadas!!|We recommend Posada Borravino for a quiet stay in Mendoza!

We only stayed one night. On our way to Potrerillos we dropped by just to say than when we come we want to separate beds. We hoped to get a room earlier that 3pm but with no luck. Returned at 3pm got a room but there were one big bed. We were dissappointed, then had to wait the room and the place was not full. Room was nice and quiet. Have to say that the air conditioning was really quiet. The service was not good at the reception. Got the feeling that we were not welcomed here. Maybe they think that have enough people coming and most of them may not return, so you do not have to be so nice. The pool area was nice but needs cleaning every day.

What a great way to start our vacation in Mendoza! We arrived from New York very late and tired, and the staff at the Posada was waiting for us to help us to our room and finally get some rest. Waking up the next morning was relaxing and breakfast was ready with a delicious variety. My entire family felt comfortable right away and between the amenities , great service and thoughtful staff, it quickly became a home away from home. We highly recommend La Posada Borravino!

This is very difficult to find and is situated on a cramped plot in a suburb some considerable way from the centre. It is rustic but in an uncharming way. It felt a little sad and there is a need to spend some money on it to make it a comfortable boutique hotel. The bathroom was particularly grim. The chef was very friendly and helpful but dinner was disappointing and over priced. Breakfast was particularly poor. Overall an underwhelming experience. Does not represent good value compared to other places we have stayed in Argentina and Chile.
