Posada de Los Volcanes

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and easy to find. The staff is wonderful, even calling me by name. The complementary breakfast is delicious! They provide water to keep bottles filled. They are perfectly located on the main street, Calle Santander, but none of the rooms face the main street. The hotel is just a 4-5 minute walk from the boat launches. I really enjoyed my stay here and you will, too!

Had a nice one night stay here. Property is very pretty and the manager was very helpful. No air conditioning (fine generally here with windows) and bed wasn’t the most comfortable. For the price with a private room/bathroom I would definitely recommend.

The room was good, clean and comfortable. Overall we received great service. The location is very centric, but not as nice as if you stay in San Juan. The place can be a little loud, that was the main issue.

What a fabulous experience! The location is perfect, in the heart of Panajachel. We were on the 4th floor and loved the privacy as well as the terrace. The rooms were spotlessly clean -and we are really picky about that. Beds were comfy and the complimentary breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was so convenient that they have a coffee shop there too, for those quiet moments when you want to sit and watch the world go by. The pricing is very very affordable and this place FAR exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return!

Recommended. Agreeable place. In the heart of Pana. Close to everything. 1 minute to the lake. A warm welcome by Francisco. Helpful. Clean. Good breakfast. Well organised. Despite being in the heart of Pana, no exceptional noise. We organised our taxi via the Posada and this was not only practical but we also a (very) good driver. We had a very pleasant time.

A big shout-out to Francisco!! He was very friendly and helpful - he arranged a private boat for us to visit San Pedro and San Juan. When we couldn’t find our captain upon returning to the dock, he called the captain for us and then texted me again to ensure that we were ok.||The location was unbeatable! It is right on the main calle with bunch of good food options nearby. The lake was an easy 5 mins walk from the hotel. Since we were only staying for one night, we didn’t mind that our room was on the smaller side. Shower pressure was strong and the room was clean. Do bring some earplugs as you will be waken up by birds chirping. ||We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel (not free), but we saw a lot of non hotel customers dinning there. You do get two big bottles of water upon arrival!||Parking is included, but it is about 2 blocks away. 10Q/hr after the check-out time.

Service here was impeccable. Francisco was kind and made our check in experience the smoothest I've ever had in my life. We were brought to our room to get comfortable right away, offered us water and time to get settled. Location is perfect, walking distance to main areas in Pana. They help with shuttle and tour services, or simply honest tips. Breakfast was included, and there were different options for us to choose, which was a plus to get our mornings even better.

Francisco is an amazing host. He is so kind and even walked us down the street to show us where something we were looking for was. The location is the best and the rooms are very clean. We are so happy to stayed here when visiting the lake
