This is a charming, well-kept, quiet hotel on a small road in the heart of Xalapa's historic center. There is a pretty central courtyard with tables, chairs and beautiful semi-tropical landscaping. Room 111 is exceptionally pleasant: it has a terrace of its own, with a table and two chairs, its privacy provided by large potted shrubs. The Room is actually a suite, with a living room, a small kitchen, a separate bedroom and a spacious bath room. The air conditioning works wonderfully and is totally silent. You can walk to all the cafes, restaurants, the main park (Parque Juarez) where there is always something fun going on.

Clean, conveniently located, charming inn with super friendly staff. There’s a no-frills restaurant where a handful of dishes are included for breakfast with your stay, and a lovely courtyard. We booked a few different suites, because we extended our stay, and they were super spacious and perfect for decompressing after being out and about during the day. In room coffee from local roasters was a plus. Suite room 133 has its one big balcony and killer views, lovely light.

A peaceful night's sleep in a nice, clean room with a very comfortable (subjective, I know) bed. |Easy walking distance to the town centre.|The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very patient with my lack of Spanish. They were also extremely helpful with directions to places of interest, on a map they provided gratis. They also booked my taxis for me. |If I could change one thing, it would be switching out the coffee maker for a kettle.|This is probably sacrilege to most people travelling in Mexico, but I don't drink coffee.|A kettle would have been nice for brewing up a good cup of Yorkshire Tea. |Yorkshire Tea in Mexico, I hear you ask.|I brought my own. I never go anywhere without it.

Very well located posada with restaurants, coffee shops, and the main square within walking distance. We stayed in a beautiful and comfortable suite featuring comfortable beds, air conditioning and heating and kitchenette, with private patio and pretty garden views. I would come back!

From the street entrance, you have no idea of the lush greenery, flower pots, azulejos, and decorative tables and chairs that make the Posada so pretty. The rooms are plain, but the bathroom in my room was new. In Dec., Xalapa was cold and rainy; the Posada provides room heaters on request. The Posada is located on a long, very steep street, about 3 blocks away from the main restaurants, public transportation, etc.

A basic but charming hotel. Traditional and lacking many modern creature comforts but I felt very much at home. Peaceful calm inner courtyard with tables beneath blooming bougenvilla and queen palms. A hearty breakfast was included which included fresh fruits and juice, traditional egg dishes MD plenty of coffee.

Such a great bed and breakfast in the heart of downtown Xalapa! We enjoyed our stay so so much. It was very safe as they have someone around the clock at the door making sure only guest entered. Their breakfast is so yummy and an affordable addition to our stay price. We recommend them to anyone who wants to stay somewhere unique and picturesque!

Stayed 4 nights here and really enjoyed both the hotel and the town. The hotel is on a side street just 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and is set in a beautifully kept tropical courtyard with a fabulous collection of native flora. Rooms are individual in design but clean and well equipped with coffee machine and fresh local coffee daily. Wifi was good and fast and the service was excellent and friendly. Nice café on site serving breakfast which was good and reasonably well priced. ||Fabulous views over the town and Orizaba from the roof top terrace and the hotel is set in a peaceful and safe area. Would stay here again.
