CHARMING, LOVELY, PERFECT. Our balcony over the road was something we throughly enjoyed. The ringing church bells on Sunday were devine. The location was exactly what we wanted. Sitting in the heart of tapa paradise, with friends gathering all around in the evening for wonderful times and food. Speaking of which the hotel itself has its own hopping little bar area, and multiple areas to have a nice dining experience from their own restaurant. Staff was wonderful and the rooms were A+. Clean and quiet, great decor, super linens, and COMFORTABLE BEDS!!!! Would stay here again and again. Thank you for the wonderful stay! ♡

We could not have been more delighted with the Posada del Dragon hotel for our 4nt stay in Madrid. The location is simply perfect, smack bang in the middle of the most amazing street for tapas bars and restaurants!! And - within walking distance of most Madrid attractions and railway station. ||Our room had the most iconic balcony overlooking the street, with the added luxury of double glazing and interior and exterior shutters so no matter how hard they were partying outside, our room was an oasis of peace!! ||The rooms have a funky modern vibe in the very old building - redolent with history and stories. The bed was so comfortable and the shower large and with great water pressure. ||Leo on reception, and all the staff went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and provided useful information and amazing customer service. ||Then in-house tapas bar and restaurant are great. |This place really enhanced our stay in Madrid 😁

Stayed at Posada Del Dragón with my family and loved it! Great location near Plaza Mayor, clean and cozy rooms with a nice view, and super friendly staff. The restaurant’s tapas were amazing. Perfect spot for exploring Madrid on foot!

Comfortable clean and bright room. Location in La Latina neighborhood is a foodies delight! Wonderful day staff - friendly and helpful. We loved that our room looked onto the street, which was busy until the wee hours of the morning. We would return!

Currently staying in this hotel, Tremendous. Location, comfort, and the staff are so pleasant. Acknowledged, and were able to make our little request happen. Absolutely first class service by reception. Best bed we've slept in apart from at home.

Google
Can't recommend this place enough. Really great location for late night tapas, and a shortish walk or train ride to everywhere. Great value. The only thing I'll say is that if you're traveling with your significant other, make sure you're at the relationship level where you can poop and wee around each other, because the bathroom setup offers no privacy. Nice beds and aircon.

Yelp
We stopped in here on 03.01.24 for a drink and to get in some history. We found out through a local blogger that you could see the original city walls of Madrid through the floor. Coming in just after opening, the place wasn't busy and the staff was idling around. We asked our server about seeing the glass floors and she seemed bothered to point them out. They were in an adjacent area of the restaurant that was complete unoccupied. After we briefly viewed them, she and some of the staff appeared to be secretively talking about us, and not in a good way. It didn't really bother us too much, but I suppose if you don't want people to take interest in what you show off as an attraction, then cover it up. Despite the lackluster service, our drinks and tapas were good.

Yelp
So I only stopped here for a glass of wine and people watching, but in the time I was there two things REALLY impressed me. First, they gave me some marinated olives and shoestring potatoes with my wine. I HATE (yes all caps) ...HATE olives, but somehow, this place managed to find the perfect way to marinate them and gave me the most delicious olives I've ever had in my life. I finished them all. Secondly, I wanted to learn more about the glass floor which shows the old medieval ruins, but they were in the restaurant next door. The bar manager literally walked me next door, past the other bartenders and gave me a personal tour of THE OTHER RESTAURANT. He was so friendly and the service was above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Quirky little boutique hotel located in the middle of all the action! Check in was a breeze and the rooms are sized perfectly for two people. We had a balcony facing the street, and as others stated, it stays loud well past 3am. So, you might want to request a room that doesn't face the street. The restaurants and bar belonging to the hotel are quaint and always busy, which is a good sign. When you first get here, you have to walk in past the bar to check in on the left hand side before walking into the restaurant. The rates were reasonable and we were within walking distance of all the sights we wanted to visit. Having the Mercado San Miguel literally across the street was one of our favorite things about staying here. I would definitely stay again!

Yelp
The tapas were delicious, but larger than I thought! They felt more like raciones. The wine and vermouth were great. The service was nice too, they even took us to the back to see the old walls of Madrid. When we went, around 8-9PM it was pretty dead and we were the only ones there, which was a little awkward as it was super quiet.

Yelp
Amazing experience check in with Angel he was super nice and very helpful. They had a welcome drink of vino of your choice and the rooms cannot say enuf it was clean comfortable bedding shower was great just gorgeous room and amazing floor to ceiling window with balcony and views of the street. Plus so quiet not alot of noise just the occasional truck that passed. We will be back especially with he complimentary breakfast buffet with frittata fruits and cheeses. Proximity to so many locations and the metro just a few minutes walk that took us all over the city. Graćias Madrid !!

Yelp
A bit hot so a tinto the verano is the right drink plus patatas bravas y croquetas a nice light snack.

Yelp
Amazing hotel in a ancient typical Madrid building 'Corrala' the rooms are small but really nice and modern. We love it! 10€ breakfast with eggs, fruit, coffee... They treated us really well! For sure, I will be more than happy to come back.

Yelp
Wine was amazing, patatas bravas were the best we had in Spain. More like potato wedges with sauce on the side. This american preferred them this way! Worth the visit
