Nice place to stay especially for the price. Great location between a few metro lines, making it easy to get anywhere in Madrid. The room was comfortable and big. Customer service was good, with the only detail being sometimes you have to walk next door to find the receptionist.

Google
Perfect location in the La Latina part of Madrid, with lots of tiny streets to explore. Staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Sadly this is where the good things end. We got the penthouse ("one of our best rooms"), but while the room was bigger than expected, I can't really call it that. The bed, while big, had two mattresses instead of just one. We had two types of pillows: one was too hard, the other too soft. In a few mornings a faint bad smell could be felt coming from the sink.

This is really a great hotel to stay in. I think the reviews are mixed with the one of their restaurants, but it truly deserves more than a 4.2 stars average. The room was big and super cozy. The shower was amazing (really good pressure). Heated floors all around the room and good AC if needed. I took the breakfast option and even with a small selection, everything was really great (freshly pressed orange juice, eggs made to order, cheese selection and great coffee). Don't hesitate to book this hotel, the location is A1 and the staff was super friendly too!

Google
Hotel Location and Staff vs. Room Issues The hotel location is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. We stayed in two different rooms. The first was a family room, relatively large, but the bed area was elevated on a platform 15-20 cm above the rest of the room. This raised section had dark flooring, making it extremely dangerous when walking to the bathroom at night. We fell twice - painful falls - despite reminding each other to be careful. The air conditioning was ineffective with no correlation between the remote control settings and actual performance. The room lighting was poorly designed, with a fixture containing 3 blindingly bright bulbs mounted very close to one side of the bed. There was no reading light - you could either be in darkness or be blinded. The window faced an internal hotel shaft with a wall just 3 meters away, creating a claustrophobic and unpleasant feeling. The second room was tiny and extremely cramped in its layout. It was impossible to properly open even one suitcase, let alone accommodate two. The bathroom sink was positioned right next to the bed with no privacy whatsoever. This room also had overly bright lighting that couldn't be adjusted for a pleasant atmosphere or reading. Even in this small room, the air conditioning was ineffective - despite sleeping with just a sheet, it was still sweaty and uncomfortable. I appreciate the wonderful staff, but we will absolutely never return to this hotel.

Google
A charming hotel that I highly recommend for its exceptional service, cleanliness, and style. I have no need to look for another place to stay when I return to Madrid. Top 💝 A perfect ten – and more!

Google
Great location, in the center of La Latina and close to the Plaza Mayor. This hotel has confortable rooms (we had an upgrade to a spacious family rooms). Only downside is that the water in the shower takes a lot of time to heat up. Every thing else was fine.

The best boutique hotel we've been to in Spain! Rooms well appointed and staff super accommodating. So comfy and well located.

I got Bed Bugs! I understand that sometimes it happens. This was my first experience. What is so disturbing is I reported it in the morning. I sent pictures of the bugs in the bed and my bites. No one has contacted me yet. I have even reached out again. No response. The building is beautiful.

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant. It was my last night in Madrid and a group of friends and I were just wandering around trying to get out of the rain, find Tapas, and also a place that sits 11 people together. We came here and they were immediately very accommodating to our group size. The Tapas are actually quite large and made for sharing. I think we over ordered on a lot as we thought the sizes were smaller. Overall everyone enjoyed their dishes. I can't find their menu so I can list exactly what we ate there.

Yelp
This review is for their restaurant. We happened upon this place on our second night in Madrid. Our first night we had dinner at a touristy spot in Plaza Mayor. This place was sooooooooo much better. Based off our other dinner, we order three things here, which was wayyy too much food for two people. The meat empanadas were delicious. The dough was flaky and filling was very tender and flavorful. Patatas bravas was a huge portion! Again, very well cooked our only problem was it was too much food! The star of our meal with the meat platter. There was lomo, Jamón and two types of sausage accompanied by a tomato dip and crackers. The meat was high quality and much better than we experienced the evening before. Service here was outstanding. The bartender who was waiting on us was very nice and went out of his way to help. He even got us a takeaway box for the meat that we couldn't finish.

Yelp
Went here for Christmas dinner. Actually, the Christmas Eve dinner on Christmas night. Nochebuena (Christmas Eve) is a huge deal in Spain and most restaurants are closed, with the exception of higher-end hotel restaurants, such as this one, which typically offer limited pre-fixe menus only, and at a premium. The one thing that stands out in my mind was the raw salmon, perhaps because it may have led to food poisoning. Either way, I can't prove it for sure, so this 4 star rating is based on the following: -Fast and friendly service -Very cool ambiance (your table sits on glass and above a see through "wine cellar") -Willingness to prepare the Nochebuena dinner on Navidad, despite having to make a few substitutes, one of which I think included the raw salmon -Appropriate pacing between each course

Yelp
This hotel is phenomenal in terms of both affordability, location, cleanliness, comfort and staff friendliness. Friendliness: I arrived here one hour early for check in but the wonderful front desk staff were able to accommodate an early check-in without us even having to ask and no fuss at all. When I asked for an adapter to charge my phone they quickly provided one. When I asked the front desk person to print something out for me she did it with a smile even though I messed sending an attachment twice. She genuinely wanted to help. Looks: The hotel looks great too. From outside it seems a bit rustic, but once you enter you'll immediately see that it's a modern place. And the hotel doesn't overdo it with modern elements. There are still some rustic elements like deep dark wood decor, bronze hues, etc that perfectly soften the ambiance and feel of the hotel. Room: The room we booked was quite large and comfortable. Even though our windows had no views, their height from ceiling to floor, allowed natural light to flood in and make the room feel vibrant, open and homely. The decor inside the room is modern but like throughout the rest of the hotel it's also very comfortable. The wooden beams on the ceiling, though only decorative, give the room a very rustic feel as well. It just shows the amount of attention that was put into the details. The bathroom was just as great as well.

Yelp
This review is for the pinchos/tapas we tried. All were excellent, and the service was outstanding! We will definitely be back. The hotel rooms look lovely as well. My only concern would be the noise level with so many businesses/restaurants located on this street.

Yelp
La Latina is the area for Tapas in Madrid, & this place had the best! We got one tapa that was a chicken and the other that was a goat cheese one. Refer to the picture to see it. Both of them were amazing with their sauces on top!

Yelp
Had a reservation here for Christmas Day night and had a really excellent meal. Some of the nicest servers in Madrid. Really unique and delicious desserts. Cool transparent floor where you can see their wine cellar. Enjoy the quiet dining in the back or the hoppin' busy tables in the front. Very popular spot and I can see why.

Yelp
Great location, nice atmosphere with great and tasty tapas. Great for tapas hopping! Just remember to tell the bartender what wine you want or they will give you the more expensive one, although it was very tasty and cost only 1 euro more.

Yelp
We booked on Hotels Tonight and got a room with a balcony. The room was clean and cute. The staff were accommodating and friendly. They even give you glass of house wine or beer as a "welcome drink." The food both tapas and breakfast were excellent (there were vegetarian tapas). I'm a sound sleeper so I didn't notice if it was loud with out balcony facing the street but I will say it's a busy street and Madrileños stay out past the crack of dawn (if you have to be at the airport early, have them schedule a taxi in advance). We stayed out until 3 am and there were people out but nothing crazy (definitely not like Bourbon St) just people walking by talking. The area is really fun and you'd be wise to try tapas at multiple places up and down Calle Cava Baja.

Yelp
We stayed here as a special treat for our final honeymoon days in Madrid. The hotel looks average on the outside, but with chic modern/upscale boutique rooms. Ours was spacious with a small balcony overlooking the street. One great thing was that our room was fairly soundproof - despite the restaurant/bar being packed at night, we could barely hear any noise from the 2nd floor. Complaints: no bath towels (had to request) or bath soap/gel (requested twice and never received)... Seems like poor form for an otherwise decent hotel. Restaurant with average food, nice wine selection, moderately priced.

Yelp
Great hotel with very friendly staff. We had a Perfect room. Their food and wine are great and value for money. Had a great time their this week.
