Went here with a group of people. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. The beds are fairly comfortable as well. By far the best part of this hotel, however, was the super close beach access. There is a black gate at the pool which leads you straight to the beach. The beach itself is very pretty and you can capture some beautiful sunset views as well.

We chose a room that had a beautiful view of the lake. And the room we had was nice. The hotel location is great as it is right on the main street and close to the water. The restaurant had a good view and the food on-site was decent. Wendy was very helpful during our stay and helped us with advice on things to do like boat tours and local places to eat. Very happy with the choice to stay here during our visit.

If you're looking for a convenient location in Pana with beautiful lake views, a peaceful garden, and great service, this is it! We stayed for six nights during our honeymoon, and really enjoyed the homey feel, incredible views at breakfast, and napping in the hammocks. Pana can be loud and dusty, and for being so close to everything the Posada de Don Rodrigo is surprisingly quiet. The housekeeping and restaurant staff is stellar, and the people at the front desk are ready to help with any request.

Very good hotel. Amazing view of Lake Atitlán from our room. Also you get free admission into the museum that contains artifacts found in the lake by a National Geographic expedition. Hotel also has some nice hammocks in the hallways so you can relax and get reading done when not out and about. Pool is decent sized and has a water slide.

In a spetacular location right at the shore of lake Atitlan, it faces the lake and the volcanos at a beautiful setting. The grounds have gardens, hammocks, a museum, a large restaurant, a water slide, swimming pool and large rooms. Very quiet, being at the end of the main street of the town and close to everything. Drawbacks: no safe in the room, no air conditioning, no elevator. However, the staff will take your luggage to your room on the second floor. Recommended.

Disappointed in this hotel. Our room was dark and very dated, really rundown bathroom, and the swimming pool area is ugly. The pros are - the location is good and the restaurant overlooks the lake. But way overpriced for the overall condition. May be good for families with young kids as there’s a big lawn and playground.

Everything that we needed in a hotel for a trip of exploring was delivered. Reception was warm and welcoming on arrival, we arrived super early so lounged in the pool and experienced an excellent service there for both the bar and lunch. The menu in general was fab and prices as expected, restaurant staff were friendly and the service was attentive. The room was very private with great fireplace, balcony and excellent shower. The location was easy and unbeatable for both transport and exploring. Free entry to their excellent museum was a bonus. If a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as the town has now grown to the extent that means you hear bars outside of the hotel grounds which seems a lake-wide problem these days. I would definitely stay here again if I ever returned.

I was on this property today but there are strikes in all the country and I decide to leave early to the main city instead to be trap in this place the possibility dont find transportation the next day was vey high and base of information and news of block roads and unrest events made me to leave, the hotel was no flexible to cancel my extra day and they charge me $250 per night, additional I got sick in this place. I understand is not the hotel control but any consideration to the guest was 0. I dont recommend this hotel and either this country, I lost my vacations after planning for long time. In general Central America no good option for vacations.
