Posada El Corcal de Liebana

Great hotel! I stayed here for 4 nights on a bike tour of the Picos. I was allowed to use their garage to park my motorcycle which deserves full marks on its own! ALL the staff were very friendly and welcoming and this includes the staff in their cafe/restaurant situated on the main road. Recommended!!!!

This is a charming little hotel that offers you easy access to potes and about an hour and a half drive to the start of picos for the end of the cares trail. The staff was very attentive and friendly at both check in and check out. The rooms are spacious, have balconies with wonderful views and the breakfast was also delicious while light - think yogurts, fresh fruit, fresh bread and cakes and fresh tomatoes and cheese and ham. I would recommend staying here - I was skeptical of this local just because it was affordable and at 3 stars but they were so wonderful I’d love to stay there again sometime in the future.

Very friendly staff on a great location for the picos the Europa. Nice rooms, very clean and good breakfast.

We stay here every time we tour the area on our motorbike. It is such a lovely hotel. Our favourite! The house is beautifully kept. We always eat at the restaurant owned by the proprietors, it is really good! Looking for to returning next year!

Hotel el Corcal de Liebana is difficult to access by car but is easily accessed by, and a haven for, motorcycles. Parking for cars is not convenient. The proprietor is a lovely lady. The room was not great. The hotel has a gorgeous view from the breakfast room but our room had no view. Decor is quirky. The large window blind was non functional so the room could not be darkened. The bathroom had a tiny, spaceship shower. The bed was okay. The included breakfast was fine. Overall, it was okay for one night.

From the story the owners told about the hotel, we had expectet a hotel with more atmosphere of a family run hotel. Posada El Corcal did not at all meet our expectations. Scented commen areas with lounge music everywhere might apply to some, but unfortunately not us. We had booked for 5 nights, but we left after 3.|Three stars? A very helpfull staff, a clean room and nice breakfast.

5 ⭐️. We had a nice stay in February 24. It wasn’t overpriced at all and our stay included breakfast. Lady at the reception and at the breakfast in the morning, both super nice and friendly ❤️. Room very spacious and the mattress was the biggest I have ever seen and super comfortable. Parking is not directly at the property, but it is not far at all.

This was such a lovely place to stay on our way through pico de europa. The hosts were lovely, 12/10 recommend. Thanks for having us!
