Stayed 3 nights 2 full days . Visited merino glacier ( recommend) . Very large hotel split over 3 buildings. Our room over looked gardens with swing seats and Bbq. No aircon so i had to open window - can hear dogs barking for little time but went quiet after 12. |Comfortable large bed. Bathroom slightly dated but all clean. |We had to go across the road for breakfast. Breafast good selection - freshly made omelette excellent and seved by friendly man. |Would have liked gronola and or nuts but still fab selection. |The manager at the spa was so friendly and welcoming excellent service . We used the spa on the last night so glad we made the effort. Large indoor pool overlooking golf course and gardens. Sauna/ steam/ jacuzzi/ cold plunge / etc |Several conferences were held at the time we stayed but wasn’t problem for us. No water given in rooms have to pay minibar. But the gym has water. Only given one tea pp. in room and no milk. But easy enough to ask for more teaand ask at bar for jug milk . |W

Short overnight stay due to canceled flight, rooms were of a good size and the staff were helpful, had some food at the Humus restaurant and the staff was helpful. Also close to town. No ac. Was decent but not sure if we would stay here again if not for the circumstances.

While the hotel and its grounds are quite beautiful outside and in the lobby, it’s downhill from there. This is based on two separate stays in mid-Dec. |Hot water is super temperamental in the claustrophobia-inducing showers. Once you spend 8 minutes pinpointing the spot that allows for tolerable temperature, it will unexpectedly rise to scalding then plummet to frigid. Budget 35 minutes for your shower. Ignore the mold in the grout and cracks in tile. |WiFi is completely unreliable and slow. It is much faster to just use cellular data. |Bed is ok; pillows flat, and just the right thickness where one is too little and two is too high |Breakfast buffet is the poorest I’ve had in two weeks in Patagonia… canned pineapple, box orange juice, weak coffee. |Far better places in Calafate and across Patagonia.

Very cozy and friendly. Excellent location and service!|Very complete, with spa, bar and amazing restaurants. This is 4 stars borderline with 5 stars. |The service was second to none so overall we were very pleasantly surprised with everything we experienced.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. It is a complex of several impressive buildings & impressive loby, but this is all. The room is no more than a standard room which need immediate renovation. There is NO AC in the hotel. The fridge did not work & was replaced with another fridge which its door can't be be closed.|We asked for our menu a vegetables salat for our breakfast, but was asked for additional payment to this simple request. No other 17 hotels in our trip was demanding this from us. We had no choice but to purchase the required vegetables ingredients & preparing the salat in the breakfast hall by ourselves. |To my personal opinion & experience, any hotel is measured by ONLY ONE FACTOR : SERVICE and also ATTITUDE. We found the hotel management to be indifferent & arrogant.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Really enjoyed the rooms and the service but found that the spa and the food were lacking, especially for the price point.

Dry nice resort with spa, and a great breakfast which includes an Omelet station.

I was here with a tour group for a tour of Patagonia. The hotel is beautiful from the outside and in a very good location in El Calafate - within easy walking distance of the main shopping and dining street. The staff were welcoming but ultimately the service was just pretty good, not excellent. The rooms are *small* and my room in particular was very hot - there was no themostat in my room and the small window did not allow cool air to enter from outside. I asked the front desk for assistance and they brought me a fan, which was something, but in the end it just circulated the hot air. The bathrooms are old but functional. I think the rooms just need to be renovated to modern standards, but perhaps they don't feel pressure to do much since it is probably the nicest hotel in this small town. The restaurant was good for both breakfast and dinner.
