this is one of the best hotels I've ever been in my stay in oaxacan beaches. breakfast is simply delicious and the staff is great. Diego really made our first night so cosy and friendly! nice and confortable rooms, best mattresses and the best mezcalitas ever

Me and my partner just came to have some italian food and I'm so glad we did. We had an pasta with freshly made pasta with seafood and fish. It was incredible. Highly recommend!

My partner Paul and I love this place. Cool vibe, very clean. Great cocktails and food variety right on Zipolite beach.(we didn’t stay but my partner had a gorgeous little reasonably priced dream view room a couple of years ago there). Not to mention the lovely family who run it. Mexican Mum and half Italian daughter with Italian boyfriend. They also do wonderful pizza and great salads which are sometimes hard to find! We wish we could have spent more time here this year but will be back again next year no doubt… thank you guys xx

I initially booked for a week to see if I liked the place. It was exactly where I wanted to be. Peacefully rrrron a long walkable beach, tropical environment, very clean room and linens. The restaurant serves great quality and good value breakfast lunch and dinner. The service is efficient and friendly. Relaxing background music compliments the sound of the crashing waves. The host Marisol is so friendly and welcoming. Truly a pleasure to meet. Posada México exceeded my expectations. Would return to this hotel when I’m back in zipotele.

This is a rustic hotel, by US standards, with the best location, very attentive staff and great amenities, such as beach sarongs. They provide fans to compensate for the hot muggy nights. The food is quite decent and well priced for a beach location. Not sure what some of reviewers that were quite critical were expecting. This is not the Westin (nor are the prices).

I had the best time staying at Posada Mexico. It is a beautiful and comfortable property with rustic charm. My room faced the ocean and I had a great time falling asleep listening to the waves. The staff, both the morning and the evening shift, are incredible and friendly. I will be staying here every time I return to Zipolite.

We had a nice dinner here. The pasta was nice, not extraordinary. I give extra credit for the excellent location and beach views. The service was good. I’d recommend the restaurant, but don’t feel like it’s a “must return.” Try the grasshopper appetizer if you’re feeling like something savory and crunchy.

Stayed here during my visit to Zipolite. It’s right on the beach so you have the sounds of waves crashing at night to lull you into sleep. It’s quite lovely. The food at the restaurant is tasty and they have drink specials. The room I stayed in had a hammock out in front. I also liked that the safe was built into the room and not a portable unit.
