Visited the restaurant as a party of 4, we arrived at 9pm still early for the locals so were first to eat. Food was fantastic, fish and meat options especially good, desserts too. Lovely view from the terrace. Only 1 waitress serving the restaurant area, so wasn't super attentive.

Stayed here with our teenage children in the large suite on the top of the hotel - thoroughly recommend it. Comfortable and reasonably priced considering the size of the suite, fantastic view! It was nice to stretch out a bit as a family. The room also had a kitchenette which came in handy. Located on top of the hill in a small medieval town, it was a steep but short walk down into town and the shops. Parking outside.

Rustic hotel within the walls of the old town, on the original square. Great views, lovely short walk around the old town. Parked on the square outside the hotel. Comfortable en-suite rooms BUT the church next door chimes the hours throughout the night not just once but twice. Now there's not a lot the hotel can do about that but with no aircon windows need to be open in warm weather or you can't sleep when the bells will very probably wake you every hour anyway. Breakfast underwhelming but we sat and waited for late dinner start at 20.30 with a beer and snacks at wonderful restaurant opposite....

The location, decor and ambience of the place was just wonderful. The rooms were large and the bed very comfortable. Facilities were immaculate and the hotel was modern, whilst keeping with the period theme of the building. There is a great bar downstairs for a drink and tapas.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant in the plaza mayor of the scenic town of Puebla de Sanabria. Delicious dishes with local and freshly produced ingredients. We tried the cecina with foie and it is highly recommended. Reasonable prices for excellent quality and friendly service from all the team. Family friendly place where children can play safely in the square overlooking the terrace.

My husband and I stayed in the Posada in early June, in a room with a spectacular terrace and breathtaking view over the river and valley. The room was lovely, the town was charming (the medieval tower has an interesting museum), and the rate for a night with breakfast was very reasonable indeed. This is the place to stay in this town -- and if you're anywhere nearby, it's definitely worth visiting. We also had dinner in the hotel's restaurant -- it was truly excellent -- a creative "lasagne" was memorable, and the Spanish cheesecake was to die for.

Ate in the restaurant. The Repsol guide gives them “recomendado”. Now I understand why. Lamb, venison, local honey, and great presentation of the local products. Wine list is lovely. Go for Toro wines. You can tell there is great effort in preparing the food. Should get a WAY better mark than what is on Google. Definitely a place for foodies!!!!.

Nice hotel with an excellent location. Good restaurant attached. Pueblo Sanabria is a very pretty hilltop town. Great location for nature with parks and big lake close
