Great location. Room had a glass shower with overhead or handheld sprayers. The room was clean, and we had access to the roof. We needed a bit more space in the bathroom, but that is probably typical in the older buildings. We would have liked a fridge, but we worked it out with them for our medical need.

Great location but opposite a very noisy/late night bar. The breakfast offering was unclear, inconsistent and communication poor. Bathroom decor was very basic and tired with small, thin towels. Good black out window shutters. No tea/coffee making facilities.

After holding reservation for months in anticipation for our May 1 weekend vacation in Tarifa and while driving from Ronda they emailed indicating I had two hours to fix some apparent discrepancy with credit card information or they would cancel my stay. When arrived at Tarifa with my wife we end up with no hotel room to stay. Thank God the nearby and more tranquil BEATERIO welcomed us, and stayed two very good nights while visiting Tarifa.

Lovely hotel full of character. Very nice clean rooms. Bathroom a little tight for space but absolutely fine. Super sun terrace for all guests to use on the top floor.
A little confusion about where and when to get breakfast, a sign in various languages would be helpful but we had a lovely stay and would definitely return. Loved the area around the hotel and a very quick walk to the beach and restaurants.

Our reservation was cancelled when we arrived saying that they gave us two hours before to response an email they sent. We were driving from Malaga to Tarifa. The customer treatment was awful and did not care about the situation. Not a reliable place to stay.

We stopped by to drink a Spanish coffee ’cortado’ on the terrace. It wasn’t worth stopping here. No one around to serve us, we really needed to go inside and look for a waitress. And the coffee tasted like tea…. We paid and left without drinking it. Hopefully the rooms are better here.

Stopped here for lunch. Nice looking simple menu of sandwiches and toasties, but they're terrible! My avocado toastie was on cheap shop bought sliced bread, wasn't even toasted and the avocado was so thinly sliced you could almost see through it! Avoid!

We stayed for 2 nights, had double room with private bathroom and window to the street. I liked that so much-the street is typical narrow old town street, one of the main in Tarifa. If you love old town this place is for you. The posada is really in the center. And another thing what I loved is hostal decoration-it is so charming! Really nice! The man at reception (I guess maybe he is owner of hostal) was so kindly and helpfull and friendly-it seemed we knew him for years. |In short-I love this place.
